We've been to this restaurant a few times and have always had a good experience. The service is friendly, attentive and very helpful. The menu is interesting and tempting. The food is wonderful, tasty, and satisfying. The drink menu nicely complements the food. Highly recommend.

Wow. I have never eaten Spanish food before. This was amazing! Order Tapas! The glass bread, the cheese on spoons, the paella! This was and amazing dinner! Don't be shy, order what you don't know. It is delicious! I think this place was my favorite culinary experience in Portland.

This restaurant is one of our favorites! Not only is the food so authentic and incredible, but the chef and staff take such pride in the quality and service. Very kind and talented people! We've gotten takeout several times in quarantine and will continue to do so until we can go into the restaurant again!

The meal was a great experience! Although there was a wait, the recommendations from our waiter was extremely tailored to our interest and delicious. It was a little bit noisy, it was perfect for a lively delicious night out with friends. (Pre-covid review - posted fashionably late)

WOW this restaurant lived up to its hype, the food here is AMAZING! When I say amazing, every dish we got was delicious! We got variety of dishes (6-7 plates) to share and did family style, it was plenty to share! Unfortunately I can't remember all of the names of each dish.

Came to Ataula for an annual Christmas dinner with a group of friends. One of my friend recommended this restaurant and I've heard of this restaurant through word of mouth a few times. We made a reservation here on Saturday around 7:00pm for a group of 7. This restaurant is located on NW 23rd, during the day this street is very busy and lively, I love coming to 23rd on a sunny day. This restaurant is very strict on their reservations, so our group made sure to be on time. The inside of the restaurant is smaller than what I imagined it to be. I would come back again and try their other dishes, highly recommend!

Great experience! Wonderful flavors and good, knowledgeable quick service. Decor is cute. Plenty of free street parking. Ataula Montadito was my favorite and the best dessert was the ganache.

I normally get same things if available (they relate Tapas), grilled octopus, black squid noodle dish and some salad. Today, We went for a birthday dinner to taste Iberico. It wasn't on the menu but you should ask, then you can get slices with nice crunchy toast with tomato topping. We also tried fish dish, it was a bit salty but the Indian infused mustardy sauce was excellent. Roasted lamb served with parsnip purée was nicely done. It was pretty rich but the had nice sweetness too. Beef croquet served with smoky tomato base sauce (?) It was great but beef seasoning was a bit spicy, so overwhelmed the taste of the sauce. The bartender was very knowledgeable, we had good conversation with her. If they can balance the seasoning of the meat or fish and servicing sauce, it would have been better but it was great dinner overall. Also please note that sometime they don't have the exact dish even listed on the website since they rotate menus, so enjoy what they have since they pick ingredients in season and cook them accordingly!
