Absolutely love this place. I get a porklander with sausage like twice per week. The bagels are perfect freshly toasted on a sandwich. Taking them home and having them later they are a bit dense. Also, a bit of personal feedback - the everything bagel is too salty. Otherwise love this place and it's super quick and easy on a weekday morning.

GO HERE. Where do I begin… I was apartment hunting for a week so everyday I tried a different bagel spot, and Bagel Land won by a landslide. The price, the vibe, the selection, the sandwiches… everything about this place is correct. I see people giving this spot 1 star reviews for “disgruntled workers” or whatever and that’s the saddest thing I ever heard. If things like that bother you do not leave your house and make your bagel at home:) ever since I experienced Bagel Land I have only yearned to go back, and I will get back very soon. 5 stars is not enough…P.S. - they had the best iced americano of all the places I went too as well… but y’all aren’t ready to face that?

Decent bagels if you can get one. For about two months now I’ve tried getting bagels here with no success. From the nearly two week break in July and consistently closing/ being out of bagels hours before the posted close time I have decided to not try anymore. Fremont businesses are in desperate need of some restaurant consultations. Answering the phone “we are out of bagels is there anything else I can do for you?” Is uh… lacking in eloquence to say the least. You’re welcome for the 5 star, you don’t deserve it.
I'm shocked and sad that I haven't tried this place sooner! I had a lox classic on everything bagel, and it was one of the best I've had! The fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions and capers were perfect and the amount of salt on the bagel was noticeable (but not overpowering) and enhanced the flavors of all the ingredients! New favorite bagel in town, for sure!

Best bagels! I've never been disappointed in anything I've ever gotten! The owner is always there and is super nice and all the employees are helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!

Haven't gone here for years because the owner and employees seemed so disgruntled. Tried it again today, same vibe. Plus, I asked for a bagel sandwich with no cucumbers - and got cucumbers but no cream cheese. The bagel, dry as it was, was pretty good though.

This place has had the best bagels on PDX for the past 30+ years. The differnece is every since Ben sold it the new owners don't know how to make enough product for the day.You shouldn't be out of bagels at 10am. I can't count how many times I've come in to get bagels and they are out of the majority of the flavors. You're leaving money on the table. Every time I am in there I watch people walk in and walk out because you're out of what they want.This never happened when Ben was the owner. They also skimp on the cream cheese now and the coffee is just bad.If you can get the bagel you want it's the best but I'm alsmot at the point of never going in again because they are out so often
