Tasty sweets and treats. Quality coffee, super service, and inviting decor! Unique to say the least.

Cool looking coffeehouse. But the mother and daughter who run it are extremely rude to customers, almost hostile. It significantly detracts from what would otherwise be a very great place to enjoy coffee. In the service industry, there is never a good reason for actually hostile service.

Spent an hour writing here and had a great experience. Had a delicious sweet chai. Was really comfortable place to work. Great service. Will be back.

Loved this Native-American owned coffee shop! The coffee was delicious and so were the pastries.

I drink a lot of coffee and eat a lot of pastries around portland, and nothing comes close to Bison Coffeehouse.Delicious, sweet but not sickening coffee, plus a lightly spicy and savory biscuit, theres nothing else i crave as much at 10 am as Bison's ?Highly recommend to anyone doing the coffee rounds in PDX! You will NOT be disappointed.

Excellent coffee, excellent pastries. I had a dirty chai and a bagel. My friend had a latte and a cookie. We were both super happy with everything. And nice employees!

Literally the best coffee I've ever had and not just in Portland. Their coffee has lots of flavor and isn't too acidic. I'm not sure if their pastries are made in house or not, I think they are.. either way they always have a large variety and whoever is baking them knows what they are doing. I'm not usually a fan of coffee shop pastries but these are fantastic and are always fresh and flavorful. I don't really know how to describe the difference between bison pastries and other coffee shop pastries other than these just taste better and are better. The ambiance is cozy. I enjoy seeing the indigenous representation inside and am glad to be supporting them. Anytime my family and friends come to visit from out of state they demand that we go to bison every morning. Definitely a family favorite. Only caveat is that I moved farther away from their shop so it takes me some extra time to get there.

Love this place! The coffee is great. I'm obsessed with the biscuits and scones. The service is always good and it's a welcoming environment.

Coffee was really good, they even ask what roast you'd like which I thought was really nice. My wife and I like different roast levels and this place had something for both of us. On top of that it's native owned and has a really fun atmosphere.

Love this place. Super chill spot with alot of wood furniture which makes it feel cozy. Also service is excellent and so are the coffee and pastry products.

100% Native American owned coffee shop in Cully in NE Portland. Everybody seems to like this place really well. My first time trying. Bought a bag of Evening Star dark roast plus had seasonal Peppermint Bark Latte and a Blackberry Muffin.

Bison lets you choose light, medium, or dark roast for your espresso drink, which I love. I go medium and the flavor is perfect for me. The staff is so sweet!!! They work hard and the Cully 'hood is fortunate to have Bison. They also honor Veterans, are Native-American owned, and have epic frosted brownies!

The coffee here was great! I chose to have a cortado. Service was friendly and the shop itself was quaint. All in all, a good experience with good coffee and nothing to complain about.

Green chili bacon jack biscuit was delicious, a little greasy but great! Coffee was good but the praline powder had an artificial taste to it that took away from the espresso.
