Some of the best food in the Portland area. The service was good, although you do have to order at the counter. It's a little busy there during rush times but it's worth the wait.

This place was soooo good! We had the brick house chicken and a sausage and peppers pizza. The chicken was perfect and the garlic potatoes were amazing. Pizza was fresh and super hot. Cute little chic place - clean. Service was pleasant and fast! Don't pass this place up!!

Holy amazeballs this place is awesome! Tried burrata, olives, baked polenta, seared cabbage, pig in the woods pizza, tiramisu, and cookies.Polenta was perfectly seared and had an incredibly soft interior texture, great mouth feel, slightly salty and creamy.Olives were well brined, the carrots and pepperoncini mixed in added texture and variety.Seared cabbage was well cooked, the charred edges amped up the sugars, had excellent texture, just the right amount of topping, fresh lemon really brightened!Burrata was superb, the toasted bread had a super chewy texture, was just dried enough to soak up the olive oil and really "hold" the mozzarella.Pig in the woods Pizza was good, the other food was all so amazing that it didn't "shine". The arugula had a light vinaigrette that made it a little bit too salty.Tiramisu was delicate, the mascarpone cream was truly creamy.Cookie had amazingly buttery soft center and crispy edges, just the right amount of flaky salt on top!Vegetarian options: There were multiple vegetarian options for every course!

Fantastic delicious food. Home cooked feel. The Brick chicken is my go to. Next I will try the pizzas.

We are frequent visitors for a few specific things and they have been consistent in the quality and taste to keep us coming back for many years. I usually get the pizza, Pig in the Woods, which is my favorite! It is so delicious, salty and perfect in every way. But I did try their burger for the first time last week. It was cooked to my specification, had great flavor and the toppings were wonderful. I would have preferred a toasted bun because by the time it got home which isn't far, the bun was a smidge mushy but it was still a great hamburger and worth it. I WISH they'd bring back the Bahn Mi they served years ago! It was my favorite thing to get other than the pizza. I also miss their pizza with Mamas Little Hot Peppers and their Mac and Cheese. But over the years I've tried all of the main menu items that don't rotate and have always been pleased. Also, the chocolate cookies are great. Keep it up!

Great food ! ! They could benefit from some acoustic tiles, the room is loud. Did I mention how good the food is! Holy cow! Brick chicken!

Their brick chicken is so good and I recently tried the Green Pie and, omg, I crave it so often now. I don't even like pizza! The atmosphere is nice and in the summer the outdoor seating area is the place to be. They are always so friendly and it's really quick service. Love this place!

It was a take out. Brought the dinner home for our Valentine's celebration. It was my first time with Bistro 23. I trusted the reviews about their food, specifically their pork chops. And nope, it did not disappoint! I love the pork chops and their truffle garlic mashed potatoes. My husband loved it too. The pork chops are well done and very tender. And they are so tasty! Will definitely come back for sure. Maybe, we will dine in instead of takeout.

Nestled in the commercial heart of Airport way is a little unassuming gem, Bistro 23. The food is always on point. I have never had one bad meal from the menu. This visit was the beat salad (add chicken) and a cup of their tomato basil bisque.
