Capers recently catered our office grand opening event. I used them mainly because they actually answered their phone (everyone else needed a few business days and still didn't respond). Lexie was very professional and walked me through the whole process (since this was my first catered event). Her demeanor, recommendations and quick replies was very much appreciated. The day of the event - the crew came in on time, well prepared and was a complete turnkey operations for me. I will DEFINITELY use them again.

This was my first time here. It was a special Kentucky Derby event in conjunction with WillaKenzie Estate winery. The food was good. Loved the Mac & cheese & the antipasta platter. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. And the atmosphere was wonderful. I liked the variety of age groups. I would definitely attend an event here again?

A long time ago they were very good. I spoke with the owner when he was walking his dog outside. He said he was having a real difficulties finding people to work there. It's very difficult to get people to work there post covid if he's going to expand his business and do well he needs more workers there. The next thing is is that I wanted to go there and eat. They were close to the public they used to be open and the food was brilliant. A lot of places to sit around outside the owner was very friendly and I congratulated him on being around after covid. It was sad to see though there was no place for me to eat. I want to a sports bar down the street it was okay, however, they are very proud of their food and I spent too much money on something that wasn't really all that good. I hope that Capers opens back up the public service and they do well.

I fly in and out of PDX a fair amount, every other week, and I'm usually there to fly home around the late afternoon early evening. Pre-covid, I would always order the salmon dinner, which I thought was one of the best salmon dinners I've had, and it was always consistently delicious, especially with a glass of chardonnay. Seems since the pandemic, the menu has been limited, and they've been out of the salmon, but I've had different items such as the burger, the patty melt, but most recently in the last couple of trips through, the BLT has been THE BOMB! Made on toasted sourdough, great bacon, with the perfect amount of mayo, lettuce and tomato! I've only had it with iced tea since it's been earlier in the day, but on a later departure, I may wash it down with an IPA. The ladies there are always so friendly and sweet! Great location to people watch while catching up on some work. I'll be back in about a week!

I recently attended an event that Capers catered. The food was delicious and they provided a good variety. The charcuterie spread was creatively presented. Their new food truck enabled them to prepare fresh, hot food on-site!

Visited around 5:15pm. Watched the employees behind the counter pick their finger nails, bite their nails, touch their faces, and then proceed to prepare food for the guests. Horrible service with two servers and 6 preparers behind the counter. Super slow service but I was repulsed by the unsanitary behavior of the employees.

I attended a wine dinner at the corporate location of Capers (which was amazing) and discovered that they do catering. I was planning a significant birthday party for my husband at my home in Portland. I worked with Lexie - who is amazing - and she immediately understood my vision and food preferences. They used the catering truck but provided an elegant, multi course plated dinner for 14. It was incredible! They passed appetizers of crab cakes with jalapeno and mango, grilled shrimp skewers and ricotta pesto squash blossoms! So good. We then sat down to three course - a panzanella salad that was so fresh and light; lamb chops with a goat cheese risotto and a marionberry cobbler with ice cream. I had asked for a PNW menu and specifically lamb as we served it with a 2013 Stags Leap Cabernet. The lamb was from a small farm near the coast and was incredible! The cobbler was one of the best I have ever had. Lexie and her staff met all my expectations - the patio was seat up beautifully with large farm tables in a square. Lexie helped me pick all the tableware, etc. to create a beautiful event. It was low stress for me and I would highly recommend Lexie and her team!!!

We had Caper's Cafe & Catering work our large retirement event at a park in Battle Ground, Washington. Lexie, the catering manager was fantastic to work with. The food was amazing. People were raving about the veggies skewers days later. Personally I loved the pulled pork sandwiches and summer fruit salad. Presentations was very well done, and the staff were professional, friendly and helpful beyond what was required. If you didn't know, having beer and wine at parks in WA requires MAST certified bartenders/alcohol monitors. This is NOT easy to locate in caterer in order to secure a permit. I highly recommend Caper's. Not only were the staff and food excellent, Lexie was highly communicative and committed to providing us with what we needed for our event both with food and drink, and necessary permits. If you're looking to host an event in SW Washington (or Portland for that matter), I definitely recommend Caper's catering.

There's an older bartender with greased back hair. His name starts with a tz. Poor service and a bad attitde. He wouldn't give me his name for this review..

Why is the breakfast sandwich $11.75 and how did you forget the ham? I was the only one here.
