Omg such an innovative food cart! I love the fusion of Hawaiian and Portuguese flavors. Wil is a delight and his food is always hot and freshly made. The sausage and eggs are spectacular and the kalua pork is not to be missed! Grab yourself a mixed plate for here and a musubi to go!

Highly underrated food cart. I was lucky enough to find out about this place during a Side Dish Mafia food tour and was pleasantly surprised It's a tender, salty pork taco with habanero sauce that adds a delightful brightness. Why am I describing a taco to you. You know what I'm talking about and it's done well here. The tour stopped by here at the end of an excellent streak of Portland offerings. I was stuffed to the gills but this taco easily found it's way into my glutinous vessel I call a body and I could've easily had another. The rest of the menu looks fun too so I plan on coming back soon

I always get the super yummy lumpia. But today I got the Kahlua tacos. WOW!! so flavorful and fresh. One of the best food carts downtown.

Excellent food, and service. Very friendly atmosphere. People named Josh get special treatment which I appreciate. The Kalua pork was moist and just salty enough. Combined with a really flavorful mac salad, it's a great bite. Musubi, even if you're not a spam enthusiast, is worth a try. Their house-made habanero sauce is a must. It's sweet and not too space, ask for a lot. Highly recommended.

Best Hawaiian food in downtown!! The Kailua pork tacos are fire??. The house made hot sauce takes anything to the next level, and you can buy a bottle to take home. I will be back for more

Just tried Choi Choo's in their new location downtown. I just got back from Hawai'i a couple weeks ago and this took me back. Everything on the plate was delicious. Also got the fried rice balls, which were excellent. Will the owner was very welcoming, will definitely go back.

It tastes like home❤️ My dad is islander. When I miss my dad I come here and cry into my lumpia and spam musbi. This place is amazing. Either you like hawwian island food or you don’t. It’s up to you. But I have yet to meet someone that throws down with this guy’s lumpia and say they won’t take a knee to it’s flavorful goodness. All I’m saying is I left 10 lbs heavier and my sould 100 lbs lighter. Take a bite it just might change your life❤️

this was my first time trying choi chois and a loco moco and it was very tasty! they had a homemade habanero sauce that went well with the gravy, and the rice was nice and sturdy(they use a smaller grain rice than jasmine i think) and a good portion. There's plenty of seating and covered picnic tables for a sunny or rainy day. The lot is gravel so not super wheelchair accessible, but there are a couple parking spots nearby. I biked. Also a little noisy on 99e but there's a nice courtyard where the carts are fenced in so it feels safe. I heard good reviews from Choi Chois and wanted to check this cart out, I will be back for a bfast sando or lumpia/ I want to try their braised pork. Thanks Choi Chois!
