Costello's is an excellent coffee shop, a wonderful breakfast spot and one of the best bakeries in Portland. They make the only decent snickerdoodle I've ever found at bakery in Oregon.The shop has changed hands a few times in the past decade but the new owners as of 2023 are making huge improvements. Love pastry made in the house, we tried Marionbeery scone. Then we shared meat quiche which was "fluffy and delicious and I could really taste the bacon(my fav), and Biscwitch which was more dense" and SO yummy. Everything was incredible good ??

In a city with a LOT of indie cafe choices, Costello's is hands-down my favorite. Their world travel theme is fun (they play street views from around the world on the tvs!), they have a lot of great folks working there, the atmosphere is eclectic and cozy, and their quiche is to DIE for.
