One of the freshest and most beautifully prepared meals I had in Portland was at Dee Dee. I had the pineapple fried rice and it was fantastic. Also, the best service I have had in a long time.
FYI I'm pretty sure this is the same owner as Sweet Basil on Broadway. I'm not sure why, but I see this before with Thai places in Portland with a good cart. They open up a new location under a different name. I was excited to try a new all vegan Thai restaurant and I remembered Sweet Basil was closer to me so I compared their menus through their online ordering and they're identical. It baffles my mind that this place doesn’t have more great reviews. I just went for the first time tonight and it was divine. The employees are so kind, accommodating, and lovely to talk to. The vegan menu is huge and the food was incredible. I literally can’t wait to go back.
