When I'm craving smoked meat, this place is becoming my spot, and I like that they are close to where I live. The food is excellent and fairly priced. I'm looking forward to trying their ribs next time, since they were unavailable at my last visit - purveyor issue. Service is always friendly too. The ambiance is rustic outdoorsy with plenty of picnic tables.

Pre ordered four racks of pork ribs to go. Quality meat and everyone at the event loved the flavor. I was in there and out of there in 3 mins on pickup. Quality sealed packaging that came right out of warmer made transport to event easy too. All around great experience.

* Brisket sandwich 3.5* ribs 2.5/5* baked beans 1/5 - brisket was the only thing worth getting. Little to fatty - ribs were ok but kind of boring- beans were bad. Like boring and flavorless

I had the smoked brisket sandwich. The meat was juicy and well-seasoned, if not a little too salty, but the sides left a lot to be desired. The coleslaw tasted like cabbage coated in plain Greek yogurt. It really missed the mark on balanced flavor. The macaroni salad had a very subtle flavor, but it was pleasant. Ultimately, the meat was the star of the meal which is what you want from a BBQ joint.

One guy was working on a Sat, he was nice but the wait was foooorever. The meat was pretty good, the sides were good (we tried them all) except the coleslaw was not good. The table next to us tried it, made a face, and then threw it away. Lol. Obviously, it wasn't just us. The outdoor seating area was nice.

Terrible customer service. They were out of brisket barely after lunch and they were definitely not busy. The chicken sandwich was mostly just a mayo sauce that left alot to be desired.

Awesome food! awesome service! Outdoor seating is perfect! Love the ambiance and the music playing at the food pod is great! Even with the not so perfect weather. It's a shame people leave bad reviews just to complain. Especially about music. Haha!

The brisket sandwich was great! It has some BBQ sauce and some pesto in there. I'd get it again. Buying it there was $13. Not much cheaper than what people were complaining about the delivery prices but also BBQ is just a pricier meal choice in general and I'll pay for quality. What I was not a fan of was the super loud Hawaiian music being blasted from the Food cart next door, I could barely hear the guy taking my order.

The Brisket is soo good. I ended up not even using my sauce because it doesn't need it. The peppery bark is so good. They don't stop at the Barbecue here. They give just as much attention to the sides. The crunch in the macaroni salad is so fresh. The pickles are so good. Beans as well. So many places skimp on the sides. Not here. Everything's wonderful.
Ordered the chicken, beef brisket, coleslaw and barbecue beans. I did not even get the beans, the coleslaw had no flavor at all, the brisket was too salty, and the chicken was too dry. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Gotta love driving 50 minutes to find the place is closed with no social media or google business updates. Here on Sunday at 3pm. I’ll try again some other day and update my review I guess. Bummer.

This is hands down the best BBQ I've had in the portland area. BBQ sauce so rich that bernie sanders has speeches about it. Don't waste your time standing in line at Matt's bbq, this is a way better experience.Dietary restrictions: Keto

The food is amazing. I almost want to give it 4 stars though because it just doesn't seem like the menu options are well thought out. It is all just a la carte. I would prefer a lunch sampler option that has just a little bit of each of the meats plus a side. If they had that, I would see myself coming back a lot. Also, it is a bit spendy. But worth it.
