Keller Café

Getting in was really easy. They have the new detectors that don't require you to empty your pockets. Once inside, the bathrooms are on opposite ends of each other. The women's side has a huge rest area before the bathroom if you want to relax next to the bathroom.....lol during intermission, there was a huge line but it seemed to move quickly.The seats were okay. I had trouble getting comfortable.Pretty decent venue. I would see another show here if the price was right

I have visited Keller a few times now - years ago pre-COVID and just recently in Nov 2023. I believe happy cities have numerous theaters so I'm grateful to have this one in Portland. It's a convenient downtown location, across from an awesome fountain. The theater itself isn't too fancy but it's large. What an interesting Venue. We saw Les Mis last weekend which was wonderful! It was my first time here and my first impression was it's incredibly dated- the carpet is from the 1980s, as well as the seats, terrible acoustics and lighting. For a venue that's showing A-list productions this place is definitely on the D-list. All the other reviews are true--the bathroom is a complete disaster.
