“Honestly some of the best pizza I have ever had. I really like the thick Detroit style with the slightly crunchy cheese at the edges. And the sauce was great as well. I had the cheese burger pizza, and it had just the right amount of heat.“
“Incredible. I’ve never felt such a profound emotional reaction to something as simply advertised as pizza. It was an out of body experience and I’m assuming it’s this way because it’s somebody’s life work. It’s the only explanation I have. If that’s the case then it’s somehow elaborately deceptive in its facade of simple ingredients because it’s completely engineered to make you feel something so profound it catches you off guard in a world full of distractions.“
“My husband and I went to Grana for an impromptu date night and overall had a good experience. We started with the chicory Caesar and the dressing was extremely tasty and very light (in a good way) compared to most Caesars. The pizza was delicious, we got the blanco and the margherita. We both liked the blanco best but agreed the margherita was necessary too to add a fresh balance. The crust was absolutely delicious and the ingredients were very high quality and fresh. We also loved cutting the pizza with the shears, so fun! I'd recommend they look at expanding their wines by the glass menu a little bit, given the prices and high quality of the other food it would have been nice to have an option other than "house red" or "house white." My only real bit of constructive criticism is about the service. There were two servers, the guy was super nice but the girl wasn't overly friendly and hovered at our table after we got a box, waiting for us to leave so she could bus it. We were also seated at table 12 which is literally behind the host stand, I would highly recommend not seating people at that table unless you have a packed house because not only was it cramped, it was really awkward having to be eye level with the host's butt during the meal. There were a ton of empty tables throughout the restaurant so I regret not asking to be seated elsewhere, but I didn't want to seem high maintenance.“
“This is one of the few places that I will absolutely give all five stars. The neighborhood is beautiful, it's run by a husband and wife who are absolutely delightful. All my neighbors love them. I even got a friend who is staunchly religiously against eating pork to try one of their pizzas because he said it smells so good that he could break just this once, lol. He said it was beyond fantastic.I get the spicy Rosso, but I substitute the onions for garlic because I don't like onions on pizza. It's absolutely heavenly! I highly recommend this spot.“
“Some of the BEST pizza in Portland! Reminds me of east coast pies. Friendly staff, lots of options, and super chill inside! The hours are very reasonable compared to most pizza joints in this city, so not sure what the last guy is mouthing about. And they have ice cream! My go-to pizza “
“One of the best pizza joints in Portland some of the nicest folks ever. The care and love they put into their food also shows up in how they treat and pay their employees, which gets reflected in the quality of food and service. Always happy to pay more to get something unique and special, while supporting my community to boot!“
“Had a great meal here on Friday night, including some of the best gluten free pasta we've ever had. Service was lovely, very professional and we were treated well. Was a nice evening out. We did make a reservation, which was ready and waiting for us. I would recommend reserving a table before hand as it gets quite busy. Can't wait to go back!“
“My favorite is the Kevin Pepperoni. It's simple and delicious! The dough always tastes fresh and does the tomato sauce. Also tried the jalapeño garlic bread, and it was so good! It's not spicy, but you could still taste the jalapeños. And lastly, if you have a sweet tooth, grab a cookie! It's not a super sweet chocolate cookie, but it just hits the spot. Definitely recommend this place!“
“I learn about this place from chef’s table. I got what I was looking for: unique and tasty pizza experience. We had fennel sausage + kale pizza and morel mushroom + spinach pizza. Super tasty, super interesting. The dough is crispy outside and soft, chewy inside. Would love to come back to try more!“
“Staff was so nice!! Barely any pictures of food so we didn’t think they sold food but their menu is amazing. I had the steak sandwich which was very tender and my boyfriend had the burger. It was super delicious!! And once again the staff is so friendly!“
“I love Ken’s for a quick coffee or lunch. Their list of sandwiches looks incredible and I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu. The staff is very helpful and bubbly. I also love that they have dairy-alternative milk for no additional cost! I’d definitely recommend heating up your pastries if possible, it really kicks it up a notch.“
“Great little neighborhood pizza joint offering slices and craft beer. There is a bar and some seating inside, several tables outside. I got a couple of slices of pepperoni, which reminded me of a Detroit style pizza. The slices came out quick, I had to order my beer twice as the bartender forgot about it. Silverware, water and busing your dishes is self service.“
“Great pizza! The crust is very tasty, New York style (or New Jersey apparently) and the cheese and sauce is fresh and delicious. It's take-out only, with a couple picnic tables in front, but the Chill-n-Fill is just across the street for more atmosphere, seating, and drink options.“
“This is an amazing local bar that I hope never becomes famous. It’s full of locals who enjoy an amazing dining experience with some great beers. The owner is one amazing lady who is fully engaged in the bar and loves her customers and it absolutely shows. I will definitely be back to this place multiple times, I had a fantastically fun night and I want to thank everybody I met there tonight. Big shout out to Amanda. It was her first night tonight and she was absolutely amazing.“
“I usually go for NY style pizza if I'm getting pizza but wanted to try here bc it sounded different. Wasn't sure how Indian it was going to be, and I would say after trying it is mostly on the classic pizza side w/ about 25% Indian. I liked it but they could make it more Indian tasting & I think I'd like it more. You can choose from a few topping options such as tandoori chicken, curry chicken & a few others. They also have paneer vegetarian options which I may try next time as they sound good. They let you choose half and half and we tried a couple of the chicken options and both were very tasty. I wasn't the biggest fan of their standard crust as it was a bit doughy to me but I noticed that you can choose different crust as well as make your own pizza (only after I ordered unfortunately) and they have a thin crust or cauliflower crust option as well as some others. The interior is spacious w/ some big screens that have games on. They also have some nice specials, a lunch special for a small pizza & weekday special where your 1st beer is $1.“
“Reeva makes a damn fine slice, that's for sure. Not too thick, not too thin: for us Portland pizza pundits, it's thicker than Otto's, thinner than just about everyone else. The pepperoni, with its included jalapenos and fermented chili honey, is incredible, and my wife said the Margherita is the best she'd ever had anywhere! They're a little on the small-ish side, with one pizza being enough for 1-2 people at most, and also a bit pricey for said size, but it's hard to top these toppings for quality and flavor! They're also fast, friendly, and conveniently located on Sandy for us Nor'easters! Don't believe-a? Eat at Reeva!Parking: Street parking only, but plenty of side streets.Wheelchair accessibility: Street-side with plenty of sidewalk.“
“This is the best pizza I've ever had. The staff was great, even with the very busy dinner rush. We ordered a half New York White (Red) and half Diablo Blanco. It was so good we went back a few days later.Vegetarian options: A fair number of vegetarian pies, or ones that could be made vegetarian.“
“This style of pizza is my favourite. Thin and well cooked, which is key to me. Disclosure; I am Italian and quite fussy over the quality of the sauce and base. This guy's pizza is light, you can eat an all-pie like back home, and don't feel like you are entering a carb coma. I put them up there with Otto, Oven and Shaker. All three of these places tend to over-salt but still are my top 3.I also like Meta's staff they are always upbeat and fun.We called last night around 9pm to order 4 pues, we had hungry kids and adults, and the staff was so kind and made us some food, no fuss, no grumpiness. Even that late.Dietary restrictions: One of our friend is gluten free and she really liked the base. She said it was delicious.“
“NY style pizza from a food truck? You betcha. Top PDX pizza places for NY style pizza are usually Escape from NY, SFNY, SIZZLE Pie, Baby Doll but now you can add Giants NY to the list. Ordered an 18” Pepperoni pie and everything about it is just right. The fold, the cheese pull, the taste, Yumm! Also ordered a sausage calzone because it is so rare to find a calzone here that contains ricotta cheese. This was huge and full of goodness. That ricotta sure hits the spot!“
“I’m gluten free and vegan! They are so reassuring and amazing when it comes to allergies. Also, it’s the best vegan/ gluten free pizza I’ve had. 10/10 highly recommend all my non vegan friends love it as well and we go when ANYONE comes to town.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dairy free egg free vegan“
“I went with my family during Happy Hour and the food was delicious. For starters we ordered some ricotta cheese crostinis that were delicious and a "small" salad which was more than enough for 3 people. The pizza was a delight but the best thing was to accompany it with a delicious sangria.I highly recommend this place.“
“Great place, love the food and the bar service. Funny that we sometimes get a bartender who’s aversion to anchovies make them think they have to go check with the kitchen to see if it is even an option ?Dietary restrictions: Their gluten free crust is excellent so you can enjoy any of their topping options.“
“Be ready to wait when you get there. Always busy but it's worth the wait. The pizza is top notch. I bought Ken's books and was very excited to try his pizza. I was not disappointed. All the pizzas a good. Definitely a place you need to go to.“
“The pizza is neo Neapolitan style with a (I’m guessing ) fermented , very mild sour dough crust that’s chewy and very tasty. Everything is done really well and the service is insanely efficient considering it’s only two people . Everything came out quickly. Feels very quaint, neighborhoody and special . Also very affordable. I balked on the salads but my neighbors salad looked amazing“
“The wood fire pizza was delicious- charred with a flavorful sauce. My family tried five different cocktails and every single one was a unique and masterful concoction. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: They were really accommodating to all dietary requests, and many options are on their menu for vegetarians.“
“Flying Pie Pizzeria is hands down the best pizza joint in Portland, Oregon! Nestled in the heart of the city, this hidden gem serves up some of the most delicious and authentic pizzas you'll ever taste.I recently had the pleasure of trying their pizzas, and let me tell you, each slice was a slice of heaven. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and generously piled on. Every bite was a burst of mouthwatering flavors that left me craving more. What sets Flying Pie Pizzeria apart from the rest is their commitment to quality. They use the finest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible, to create pizzas that are truly exceptional. The attention to detail and passion for their craft shines through in every pie they serve. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make dining at Flying Pie Pizzeria a truly enjoyable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through Portland, this is a must-visit spot for pizza lovers. Trust me, once you try their pizzas, you'll be hooked!Flying Pie Pizzeria has definitely earned its reputation as the best pizza in Portland, and I can't wait to return for more of their mouthwatering creations.“
“This pizza spot gotta be my favorite to come back, too! All of the pizzas on the menu are worth trying. The salads hit the spot, and the fried ravioli was amazing! The one thing I wish would be different is the wait on the pizza. Usually, every time I visit, the wait can range from 35 mins to an hour on the wait for the pizza (came here about 5 times) I'd recommend to grab a salad or small dish to keep you happy on the wait. Pizza wait if worth it once it's out though!“
“First the place is super clean you notice that right away. The staff greets you promptly and is very kind. The tables are all clean which I love. Nothing worse than playing which dirty table isn’t too dirty to sit at. Not at this place it’s super clean. Then the prices are crazy low which makes you think maybe the food isn’t that great. Then you get the food and ate blow away at just how great it is. I have eaten at every pizza place in the state this is by far the best. The fresh ingredients and the quality of the food really stands out. I have been recently diagnosed with brain cancer which has given me super heightened senses. A lot of food I was liked I can’t eat aYmore but not this place it’s as good now as the first time I ate there 2 years ago. Keep up the good work Gus (owner) and me and my people will continue to eat at your fine establishment.“
“Best pizza in PDX. Great, fast service. Lots of seating. Covered fireplace seating. Picnic tables. Heated transparent tent. One star off for atmosphere: Often have to request water cups and getting the heat turned on in the text. But that said, there's always alcohol spray and paper towels on the tent tables. And they are generally super clean. As is the whole pod area. This is a tasty, comfortable regular haunt. Plus it's close to other eats & hangs. A keeper.Dietary restrictions: Has a no nightshade pizza on the menu.“
“Dined last night with a party of eight, four kids and four adults and the food was great! Brussel sprouts, arancini, kale salad, and pizzas all came out quickly and everything was nicely seasoned and well balanced in flavor. The only real problem with our experience would be the lack of servers/ front of the house staff. Trying to connect with friends over a meal and having to order through a QR codes is really just the worst. Unfortunately this pandemic band-aid fix for social distancing has continued for places like this to keep labor costs down for restaurant/ establishment owners. Easier on their pocket books however this provides a lackluster experience for their customers. Even our food runner couldn't help us navigate our order history to search for a mistake in their food delivery, he was kind and fixed it however. The pandemic is over, hire some great FOH staff and this place would be soooo much better.Parking: Nice, large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Nice large tables with games for kids!“
“This is the new go-to lunch and dinner spot for all Portland adventurers.Amazing meal! You can taste the high quality of the ingredients and the love put into the food. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is perfect for anything from first dates, to family dinners, to business lunches. I cannot wait to come back. Perfect 10’s!P.S best wine selection in Portland!“
“I applaud you for being open!!! I ordered my food Togo on the phone. When I got there front door was open with a table blocking which there was a sign order here. I went to back door which was closed, I opened cause I guessed maybe that’s where you get your food Togo and it was to be picked up there. I come thru he said you order from the front( also didn’t really give me a chance to politely saying anything) and noted there was another guy in there that looked to be picking up food as well. Then went to the front he come to the front door with a iPad to take my order and I say a order Togo for Robbie. Then was “owe ok”. Get home the food was great some of the best pie I have ever had! Only reason I explained this was I think clear signage would make this transaction easier. This is a very tough time and people want to be safe. I also LIKED he asked to pay Cc over the phone and asking for the tip ahead of time does limits person contact. Will be back!“
“Love this local spot! They use the best chai (Dragonfly) and have both spicy and sweet options - or ask them to mix it like I do for the perfect balance. Great vibe, amazing baristas who have turned my day around several times, delicious gluten free treat options. Plus they support the local community in so many ways and have handmade gifts for sale as well!“
“Outstanding sandwiches. I've had thier Chicago beef and turkey sandwiches, and both were enemy l excellent. If you get a whole, it's enough for two meals. Every time I'm in the west side, I will be trying to get a sandwich here!“
“Lots of beer on tap and really good pizza. Staff was friendly and for as busy as it was its still very spacious and did not feel crowded. I got the special which was “pretty fly for a white pie” and it was very tasty.Parking: Typical city street parking. Just gotta keep an eye out for an available space.Kid-friendliness: So many kids running around ? also dog friendly. Very brewery like.“
“A true gem of Sellwood, Pizzeria Stellina never disappoints. Everything on the menu delights - the type of food you know is made by people who truly care about their craft and put the time and ingredients into everything that comes out of this warm neighborhood establishment. The staff always makes you feel like you are in the right place at the right time. Come here to celebrate life, to escape life, or just to satisfy a craving for a great pie. Stellina is the type of establishment that if you ever lose, you'll always miss it in your gut and maybe more importantly, in your heart.“
“THE BEST PIZZA SPOT IN PDX…They’re literally the best taste, the fastest and easiest pizza spot in ALL of Portland OR…It has clean, decorative restrooms and most great drinks you can think of. I recommend the slices of pepperoni… their take on pepperoni pizza is genuinely as “New York” as it gets.“
“Love this pizza joint for the neighborhood. In addition to the NY style flavor-topped slices, they have discounted slices and a great selection of canned and draft beers. Rotating events like music and comedy shows are held here as well. One of my favorite pizza places in PDX!Pizza rating: ?????“
“I'm not a huge pizza fan, and coming from Chicago, I have a lot of deep dish experience, so was somewhat skeptical. But Ranch was close by and had good reviews so we tried it. We got the Four and I was a Ranch Pizza fan with the first bite. That crunchy cheesy edge and the combo of a great sausage, peppers and fresh mozzarella won me over. The quality of the toppings makes a huge difference. Don't tell my birthplace, but I'm a Detroit pizza lover now, but not from just anywhere, it's gotta be from Ranch Pizza!“
“This place was soooo good! We had the brick house chicken and a sausage and peppers pizza. The chicken was perfect and the garlic potatoes were amazing. Pizza was fresh and super hot. Cute little chic place - clean. Service was pleasant and fast! Don't pass this place up!!“
“Amazing food! We had the platter that comes with all the favorites and it was the best Mediterranean food we’ve ever had! Highly, highly recommend. And the family working there was super nice to us, even with our toddler doing toddler things.“
“Saw this place on instagram a few times right before a PDX trip, so bookmarked it and made a point to check it out! We came by for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed! There was a line to the door, all the tables were full, and lots of people were standing around waiting to grab a table. The seating was pretty limited so we ordered our squares to go. While we were waiting, a table became available so we ended up getting to eat there after all. Perfect for the freshest bites. Two of us shared the mushroom and onion squares, we asked them to cut them in half and they were happy to oblige. I liked both of the squares, but the onion one was probably the winner for me. Though the real winner was the focaccia. I could've eaten 5 pieces of the bread topping-free. The toppings were flavorful, but a little different. The mushrooms had a super nutty taste to the point that I was wondering if it was a vegan based nut cheese on the focaccia, before realizing it was the mushrooms. I wasn't the only one that thought the cheese might be a cheese substitute either, it had a slightly off texture for what we were used to. Either way, it's a cool spot and I'm glad we checked it out. It's nice that you can order by the square or a whole thing. I'd probably stick to the squares to try more of the flavors.“
“Best pizza joint in PDX from my family of pizza snobs lol.Wood fired, so not New Haven style exactly, but pretty darn close for what you'll find in the metro area. Crust nice and thin with a crunch.*If you like doughy pizza with way too much cheese and toppings that turn the pie into mush...this place is not for you.*Thanks for giving us a slice of home Dimo's!“

“I decided to try Big Foot Pizza on a whim tonight and was not disappointed! The crust was perfect, not to hard or chewy, lots of flavor and held together nicely. The amount of sauce and toppings was amazing. It's almost like they knew me (without knowing me)LOLI am definitely coming back and adding to my list of top pizza places here in Portland!“
“I’ve been to pinky’s a couple times now, the pizza is fantastic with a flaky crust that’s different and delicious. It doesn’t get the hype that other Portland pizza places get, but it’s just as good.I think the only reason it doesn’t get a lot of attention is because vegetarian options are pretty much build your own and some of the pies just have too many toppings for a thin crust, which is distracting. In my top 5 in Portland for sure“
“The enchanted Forrest pizza sub zucchini for broccoli & sub kalamata olives for black olives & ADD field roast sausage - is hands down my favorite vegan pizza in Portland with a GF option those substitutions make it mostly alkaline (except the sau“
“Audio note: Weird pounding upstairs. Good music, spacious dining area, unique taps, and good pizza. Food took a little longer because there was a meeting happening in a separate room. But worth the wait. Very good. Service was good. Server checked on us often. Made sure we were taken care of. Played vinyl records for music. Vinyl records are also for sale. Environment wasn't super loud. Bright and sunny inside. Parking can be a little tough but in a nice neighborhood. This all happened on a Friday afternoon.“
“I miss the old Nicholas so I was happy to see Loui’s. We went in Friday with a group of 8. They were decently busy. New staff, new place so still training and working it out. Overall great experience. Kids loved Italian sodas. The cheese bread and bruschetta were so good. Pizza was great even the GF. We also ordered chicken piccata & Alfredo. The piccata wasn’t our fave. Maybe just an off night for that one because everything else was awesome. Just waiting to see that antipasto plate and you’ll have me all the time.“
“The best pizza I’ve had, and I eat pizza a lot. We had the pepperoni and the garlic arugula pizza and my friend and I kept just saying how good it was. It’s the kind of pizza you feel like you should keep talking about but you come up short everytime you try.“
