One of the few coffee shops in the area that isn't drive thru only. Which is great if you need a place to work for a bit. Lattes are lovely. I've had both the pecan and the spicy mocha and they are both great! Staff are always super friendly and kind. Place is always clean.Parking: More parking around the block

What a wonderful neighborhood coffee shop! Literally the best Vanilla Latte I have had in a very long time. The espresso was so smooth, not bitter at all. The Latte was pure perfection! I also grabbed an olive and feta pastry.....so awesome!!

Nice, chill atmosphere, a good selection of coffee/tea flavors, and friendly staff. What more could you need in a cafe? They also have a few snacks, should you need them. Good place to sit down for a while and work on a small project.

Nice coffee, nice people but then they played a song that made me cry and I had to go and bawl in my car. I know it's cheesy but Seasons in the Sun always slays me.Wheelchair accessibility: Roll right on in.

Refuge Coffee really is a refuge in SE Portland. My wife was having a hard day and not only did Kim serve up great coffee, she offered support and prayer. I’m so grateful to have such a positive place in the neighborhood.

This is a great place to grab coffee. The owners go above and beyond for their customers and show so much kindness. The atmosphere is very peaceful. And of course the drinks are exceptional.

So much more than just a coffee shop. In a spot of Portland that desperately needed it, refuge is exactly that for all types of folks needing a solid cuppa. Keith and Kimmie (hope I'm spelling your name right!) are super kind and always making sure the vibes are good.

Great place to hang out. Love everything! Gluten Free options available for me!!! The owners are present and personable.

Charming ambience paired with delightful staff and topped with the most delicious chai tea (sweet or spicy, they're both amazing!) makes for a great gathering spot!

I enjoy getting iced lavender oatmilk lattes from here every once in a while, but today’s experience is making me feel hesitant to return. I ordered the drink today to sip while I drove around to do errands, but was surprised when I sucked up a piece of this mystery substance. It caught me so off guard, and it was probably the reason why my drink tasted off today. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed.

One of my most favorite coffeehouses in Portland. It is all large windowpanes facing outside the village of Lents. This place is very kind with a good heartbeat. Much room inside.

Service at this coffee shop was excellent! I ordered a pumpkin spice steamer and one of the GEM baked goods - both were sooo delicious! My partner ordered a cold brew and found it to be excellent as well! We took the drinks to go but it was a great ambiance indoors, plenty of people there working from their laptops.
