They will usually have 2 kinds of noodles they serve with different broth and topping..What brought me here was, I wanted to come here and try the curry chicken vietnamese pho style, but they only serve that on Fri and Sat..They have family restaurants a total of 3 or 4, but only this location open on Monday..When I walked in around 3, they had 2 options of pho. I chose the pho ga which is chicken noodle soup..Pho broth is savory, clean, comforting, and flavorful. My white friends ? doesn't understand why it is good when I told them. So they watched me eat. And then they finally had a sip of the broth they were like wow. It's good chicken broth and my second favorite I have taste. My all time favorite is still in Sacramento ca, pho anh dao for chicken pho..Price was 16.50 for the pho which is high. The quality of the bowl of soup and noodles really made up for it. During the whole trip I needed something comforting, I was missing my soups and asian eats..Overall it was casual restaurant for a lone eating experience. Incredibly delicious soups at this small restaurant. We enjoyed the Phnom Penh Special with shrimp, quail egg in a wonderful pork broth. The Beef Pho is the best in Portland- floral, delicate, sweet. The salad rolls are huge and delicious. Friendly and prompt service. Highly recommended!

Very tasty soups and an even simpler menu to follow. You normally have 2 options depending on the day you go, but it is well worth stopping in for. The broth is fantastic, and worth the price ($15 each). Amazing spot with the most friendly owners. I've tried several dishes from their daily rotating menu and all were absolutely incredible with super fresh ingredients and flavorful broth. I have yet to try their sister restaurant Ha VL because they always sell out early so I go to Rose VL instead and have never been disappointed!

Had lunch here today based on Eater Portland. Would have driven right past if not for that. Aren't we glad we stopped! I am vegetarian and they made sure my soup had no chicken stock in it. Tofu salad rolls were also delicious. Food was authentic and didn't take long to get it. Staff was extremely friendly. Really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant :)Vegetarian options: Menu doesn't seem to have vegetarian options but if you ask staff they are more than happy to make sure you don't get any animal products in your food.

Always blown away by the freshness of this establishment. They always have two menu items each day so that they can get the items fresh the morning of. I had a wonderful conversation with the management while I was waiting for my to-go order. He offered me his concoction of tea which was amazing and comforting as we chatted, he shared they just opened up a 3rd location with different menu items! Definitely one I'd love to check out. I got the Pepper Pork noodles which is one of my favorites on the menu. I've never been a big chicken pho person. The noodles for the pork are a thick type of bun, and the pieces of meat were full of umami and flavorful. I love this dish because its filled with protein, noodz, and vegetables. If you're nearby come check it out, or their other store Ha VL.
