“Stopped in a couple of days ago after a long, cold hike in the rain. Even though they had finished serving coffee for the day, Jesse was so nice to make me a pour-over hot coffee - just what I needed to warm up, and such a great cup of coffee! ☺️ Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area!“
“First time at this awesome Sports bar - the food was incredible. Homemade everything, including sauces and dips - and not greasy. Potato skins, best chick’n nuggets I’ve ever had, taquitos, crunchwraps, buffalo wings, chili nachos with melted cheese from scratch. Great atmo even tho I’m not into watching sports. I could eat here every night. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“First time at Birdie Time; it was a hoot! Couples, friends, families and grandparents with grandchildren all having the best time; everyone was having a wonderful time. Yes, 9-holes were terrific; I saw a 7 year old make a hole in one. The crowd cheered!♡“
“The last time I was here, it was 4-4-2. Before that, it was a small grocery store and a place to get a quick bite. I'm glad that the new owners decided to keep the soccer theme to it. The new staff is friendly and welcoming, the environment is fun, there's always something playing on the TV. Haven't tried the food, so I won't speak on that. If you're a fan of soccer or any other sport, this is the place for you.“
“Nice cozy atmosphere, friendly bartender, dance floor, area for group game playing (board games, Jenga, etc). Full Oregon Lottery video slots, keno, scratch offs. Locals call it the most friendly for straits gay bar in Portland. LGBTQ+ friendlyParking: About 9 cars can park in the lot, shared with next door convenience store that specializes in glass smoking paraphernalia, Scorch lighters, and affordable beer, pop, wine and snacks DO NOT PARK in the CLEARLY marked store parking only spots during store hours (Mon-Sat 8-9, Sunday 9-8) or you will get towed away.“
“Best beer, battered fish, and chips made with halibut that I have found in Portland Oregon. It's a bar so kids aren't allowed. Service is fast and friendly and the halibut. Fish and chips are very reasonably priced. Check out their weekly specials.“
“The brother at Khao Niew told us to check out his sister's restaurant here- and here we are for dinner. Lemme tell y'all... This was my favorite restaurant we ate while we were in Portland for a week!!! The food is AMAZING, it's as authentic as it can get. The spice level, the flavor, the portion - just done right!!! The nam khao 5/5 - the crispiness with the nam was perfect- the portion was so big I couldn't finish it but omg, this was one of the best nam khao I've had. The khao piak 5/5 - my all time fav comfort food. The broth is amazing, the noodle makes the broth thicken up, put a little bit of chili oil to give it that "umph" ; just writing this review makes me crave for it again lol. The Lao Sample Platter for 2 consists of : papaya salad, sien savanh (heavenly lao jerky), lao sausage, soft boil egg, pork rinds, rice noodles and sticky rice.. we weren't going to order this but my fiance wanted to try everything and see if it meets up with his expectations.... And it sure did!!!! The papaya salad is spicy, that good spice that makes you want more- tip, put the vermicelli noodles in the papaya salad, trust me. The beef jerky was so crispy yet so tender, hard to explain but it was just done right. I love the fried meatballs, simple yet so good when you're eating it with sticky rice and papaya salad. The Lao sausage was my fiancé's favorite, he said it was just like home. The service was quick. You order at the counter first. They have a nice patio section too. They also sold beef jerky - the kind in the bags. We bought two of it lol All in all, amazing experience. We'll be back when we're visiting again!!!“
“Love The Dugout. Service is great. Friendly staff. We come here every week and we feel like family. Kaylee is absolutely amazing. She alone is a reason to stop by. So friendly. Feel like we have been friends for years. Food is priced right. Wings and tots are worth it. Karaoke is fun and low pressure. This is our spot.“
“Parking: There is a parking lot that can fit about 10 cars. There is street parking..becuz the place is busy most of the time it is at times hard to park. But if you like to walk. There is always a place to park on Atlantic St.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is wheelchair accessible.“
“A co-worker told me to try this place out. We went for breakfast. Good food, variety, and plenty of options. Staff was super nice. Bit busy so it took time to get refills of coffee at the table. No problem to stop up at the bar they usually had a fresh pot or were getting one made.“
“We were there for an all day event in conjunction with Sports Bra. The staff at Spirit of 77 are great, food is good and plentiful and drinks were done right. We will definitely stop in again.Vegetarian options: Jojo's and humus with vegetables, salad, veggieburger, fish tacos, nachos and a fish burger are all non meat options. All looked good and the salads are large.Parking: Even with construction going on and some areas blocked off there is plenty of street and lot paid parking.“
“Really friendly bartenders and crowd, and they have all the games! Burgers are terrific, standard sports bar fare. Darts, Video Lottery for those inclined. Solid beer list, and good pours. If you want a comfy neighborhood bar, you found it!“
“Super cool spot with great food and some of the best house ginger beer I've ever had. Perfect after work spot, especially if you've had a rough day. I enjoyed a pork bahn mi with sweet potato fries while reading the subtitles to Dune on one of their flat screens. Life is good ?“
“DELICIOUSCame for my brother in law's birthday after I suggested it. We were only looking for a little cocktail bar to sit and chat at but were treated to amazing service, food, and drinksI was sat in a cozy booth in the back room with a Capricorn, which I highly suggest to anyone with a sweet tooth! The cocktail menu was creative and expansive, I plan to try the Cumin Centipede next time.My sister ordered a Ruby Red Manhattan, and my BIL something orange based, I don't recall. The drinks were complex and easy to sip, and very enjoyable, served quickly even on a busy Friday night. For food we ended up ordering the best pasta I had had in a very long time. Their Chicken meatball linguini was so flavourful and the perfect texture all the way through. I'm always fussy with cream tomato sauces but this one was downright delightful. Creamy, a little bit spicy, and just so so good.My sister ordered the field green salad, which had the best balsamic vinaigrette, the fried shallots were tasty too.BIL ordered the trout, which was also out of this world. It was a sizable portion and came on risotto, the brocolini was a little overbearing in size, but if that's the only thing to complain about then I will come again!!All in all, price wasn't awful, portions were solid, and everything was very tasty.“
“We had a group of 10 people for drinks & happy hour. The food was great (Caesar salads, brussel sprouts with basalmic vinegar & bacon, mac & cheese, sliders, shrimp skewers, etc) & the service was fantastic. Thank you for a memorable evening. We'll be back!!!“
“This is my first time and buddu:s Happy Hour 3-6:00PM bar and lounge on April 8th 2023. I have experience d the best customer service that I can ever imagine. Buddy's has some great ciders and they also have a great chicken nachos. I want to give a high shot out and a 5-star rating to AJ my server and I just want to just put that out there. So if you ever want to come out for a good time, buddy's on 82nd is the place. peace out. Chazz“
“Great local dive. Good place to grab a brew and a burger. There's a large outdoor area in the back with benches. In cold weather the tables have their own heating fires in the middle. In summer they cool the patio with misters.Vegetarian options: Vegan/ vegetarian burger and cauliflower wings“
“Great place to watch sports. The food here is subpar for Vietnamese cuisine—but their customer service is great. They offer a decent selection for tap beers, and cocktails. Video poker isn’t usually packed either so you could always find a machine to play on—or play pool/darts if you’re not into gamble.Been coming here for over 10+ years, and I have to admit that this is my go-to bar when I’m in SouthEast PDX. Will definitely continue to support this establishment for many years to come.“
“The sandwiches and burgers here are so phenomenal I've been thinking about them for days after. There are a variety of beer styles -- not just IPAs -- and the beers on tap are excellent. If you're looking for a large tap list or frequent new things to try this isn't the place to go.“
“Did takeout of a simple gyro. Tasted amazing. Very filling with generous portions.I didn't stay in the place itself for long as I took to-go, but I enjoyed the homey ambiance while it lasted. Would easily be a place I would want to spend longer at.“
“Walked here with local friends. Place was pretty busy with families - we ended up in the back room, which was a bit quieter, but someone was smoking, which was unpleasant. Took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. But once the food arrived, it was delicious! Fries were AMAZING - crisp and hot, Creamy on the inside. Can understand why it's a popular spot. Would come back!Kid-friendliness: LOTS of kids were here on a busy Wednesday night!“
“Anchor Bar is simply a fun bar to visit. The staff are all very friendly and quick to get your orders taken and in, especially considering how busy they typically are. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the nachos, fried pickles, cheese curds, and the chicken wings. I love that they have video poker to play as well. Win or lose, you'll have fun.“
“We love Jack and his amazing team such a fun location with great vibes great employees cool soulful music and great food. Jack is always going above and beyond to make his guests are taken care of and treated right. From all of us at Pine Ridge Garden thank you“
“Think of your living room, its comfy, inviting and super chill. Now add a bar, neon lights, heaping portions of food and stiff drinks. That's Kenton Station summed up. It's like the Cheers of Kenton, and its a great way to meet locals and share a warm meal. They make their soups in house and every one has been tasty. My boyfriend loves the swiss and mushroom burger, and I enjoy the cheesy beefy melt. The bartenders are kind and service is prompt and no fuss. Sound good to you? It's been great for us. Give a local business some support and enjoy a savory meal with an ice cold beer in the heart of Kenton. (Some say this place is haunted .)“
“A good sports bar to go to when in the downtown Portland area. They have plenty of TV playing sports. We came to watch a game and had some happy hour. The service is pretty good for being how busy they were. The happy hour food is decent. I did enjoy their smash burger and fries.“
“Friends had a food truck, then moved into Fopo. La Cocina Los Girasoles has amazing Mexican food. Pork Belly Tacos and Quesatacos. Sadly no minors are allowed, but the will accommodate. Under 21 can order food and they will walk it out to the sidewalk.“
“Fun atmosphere with lots of TV’s for all of the football. Portable, lottery and pinball. Simple eats but good. Bar was quick and solid. Bartender was friendly and service was him and also good. We had cocktails and nachos and watched some football. Nice stop in after walking around Multnomah Village. Food carts down the street. Parking is a bit dicey with no parking lot but we lucked out with parking right in front. Tons of pedestrians so keep an eye out.“
“The service was great from bartender and chef came out to meet us. Special for Super Bowl was bbq ribs, potato salad, beans and cornbread. All authentic and delicious! Several of the patrons started up conversations with us and the entire afternoon was Fun. This was my first visit and I will return.“
“This is a dive bar type establishment (i wouldnt say 100%). I have always had good and friendly service. It's definitely a local spot but I've only been there a couple times and maybe the bartenders will chat it up with their regulars but that's such a standard business practice. Leaving this review because all the reviews that are so negative are just ridiculous. ITS A DIVE BAR. It's not going to be the "nicest" or "kiss your a**" type of place but that doesn't make it bad ? ... What is up with these reviews calling on this place to close? There's a place for everyone and if you're into the lowkey, 'mind your business' type place, this is the spot for you. Havent had the food yet but im coming back to try because its always looked good. Of course, keep in mind you're at a bar... So it will most likely be bar food.“
“Jimmy’s is a great neighborhood spot where everyone is welcome. The bartenders are friendly professionals, they have ALL the sports, including NFL Sunday ticket. No matter the time of year and/or one’s sports preferences, they always know what people want to watch, and have cool vibe tunes playing when there’s not a big game on. The food is mostly average bar food, but the specials and homemade soups are legit. The hand battered chicken tenders are one of my guilty pleasures. Also recommend the hummus plate, and 2 for $4 Taco Thursday ?“
“I haven't tried the food yet, but the people and the atmosphere are great! Pool, pinball, karaoke, a fantastic patio, and a wide selection of CBD drinks in addition to the usual bar stock make this a fun and unique experience to enjoy often!“
“I am proud to recommend Mrs Craig Vanessa for a selfless and reliable investment service. I was constantly looking for a reliable platform to invest and my friend introduced me to her platform and I realized this is the best platform to invest on because she maintains discipline in her investment relationship and strategies to ensure the complete transparency and credibility of her investors. She helped me gained $16,000 with just a capital of $2,000. If you want to be financially successful invest with her ASAP via WhatsApp through Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“
“lindsey(i think?) is flat out amazing- she’s hilarious, professional, friendly in a sincere-not-forced way, she made my first time at the bar a very enjoyable one. she suggested some food items but i stuck with pbr’s. next time, food- so i can update my ratings/review.“
“Great breakfast. I have been going for years and like so many other things that have been ruined by our current society. There is no more customer service. But if you want good food and don't mind going up to the bar every time you want something. Then check it out. Don't leave any valuables in your car!“
“Good sports bar. Good food. Great service. You can even get just a simple baked potato! They also make a great bloody Mary, maybe the best I've had in town. They have a thing called Malort for people who are into that experience. I, however, am not that adventurous. Breakfast is solid as well.“
“Amazing spot super chill this place has everything, locals, bamboo plants and foliage on the patio, heaters outside, plastic chairs that look like wood, quiet time, sports games on the screens, hipsters who bring their own pool ques, video lottery in a dark place and wood tables that look like survivors from hurricane Katrina. This bar begs the question did you you come here to drink or to feel alive.“
“If U'RE looking for a safe friendly neighborhood bar ,this is it! We(My Husband &I) are just a block or so away &like to walk here together at night. They sometimes have live band that's usually good! Staff is good too! We like to play the poker machines here! I'd recommend coming here!“
“Cheap, stiff drinks. Nice patio.Edit: Lately, cold service and short pours from the gal that works during the day. Borderline rude. Not sure what changed, but I will be changing my times there. Will not change the actual review, because it seems like it is only this person, and maybe they are just having a bad time like many are right now.“
“If you’re looking for a dive bar, this is a solid representation with great food and all the things a person looks for in a dive bar. It’s sandwiched between a money laundering stereo store and a barber shop. The outside windows are largely covered with poster about local activities and the inside is festooned with sports memorabilia.Locals adorn the bar top and play noisy games of quarters on the stainless steel bar and rock/metal music plays through the decent speakers. There is a reasonable selection of whiskeys and other libations to choose from. There are some unique local cocktail specials and a happy hour menu. From the menu I ordered a tasty bowl of tater tots and they came with ketchup and mustard. If I had more time the entire menu looked worth entertaining but they close the kitchen at 9 in the sleepy town of Portland and were looking to kick folks out around 10.Tucked away in the back there is a game of Buck Hunter along with a few pinball games and a lovely game of Lucky Eggs!“
“Listen:First time in, and honestly it’s not my normal type of place. Being from the south and moving here, I don’t expect much from an early morning breakfast dive. Waffle House doesn’t exist here, (and also doesn’t serve perfect bloody Marys)but this is the closest I’ve gotten to it. The bartender was perfect. Anna? This lady made me the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever put in my mouth. This place feels like home.-A Homesick Southerner“
“Great people and tasty beverages. The bottle and can selection is excellent, and the rotating taps are always good. What sets Civic apart is the community. Once you go, you'll keep going back. The atmosphere is unpretentious and not divey at all.“
“It's got really good food, good desserts, good service, good beer, good prices, good location. There are quite a few TVs. Last night they were busy, the service was not quite so personable, but it was still spot on. They have a menu of cakes that are all good.Parking: A little tough to turn into when southbound. ADAb spots are tricky to see. Adjoins a large lot, so spots are available, but you might have a bit of a walk.“
“We are forever grateful for the love and support of our dear community of Molalla by Sheridan’s 52nd ave sports bar. We couldn’t have asked for better people to help us when we needed help to serve and help our community. Please support these amazing humans. From the owner, to the bartender, every one of them are just beautiful humans.“
“It's a great place to go for league, but they need to pay more detail and attention to the condition of the tables, as a top player for 50+yrs that's the most important thing for League players. If they take care of this one problem it'll be one of the Top 3 places in the Portland area to Play.“
“I love everything about this place, like how the kids gotta go around 9 pm, to every single ingredient is as fresh as can be on the menu, to the menu itself, if only they had steaks, with a name like Buffalo Gap, you'd think there would be a legit 1 and a half inch thick steak on the menu somewhere, but I am not going to hold that against them with everything else they do almost perfectly! Love this place. 5/5“
“This is a place I have been going to for over twenty years. I'm loyal to this establishment for because of the bartenders that are mostly old school kinda AWESOME,! Good food and drinks. Friendly atmosphere. Please remember to tip the bartenders and other staff well. It's because of their efforts and dedication to their customers that this place rocks!“
“First visit with a buddy for happy hour beers and dinner. Somewhat loud but i might just be getting old so...Service was friendly and dinner came quickly after ordering.Meal was hot and tasty, beer was cold and tasty.I noticed that there was plenty of parking and easy access off of 224 near Bob's Red Mill.“
“Bradfords is fantastic awesome staff great food everything from Chicken Cesar salads with Jalapeños Lamb Gyros ? grilled cheese and soup keno video lottery cocktails gas fire place billiards and more what more could you ask for located in the heart of everything Gateway big thanks to the staff that make all this possible ? “
“Kayla and Tristan are the absolute most amazing bartenders ever. They are always so kind and attentive and I really appreciate that in a dive bar. The owner, Howie, is also very kind! I come here every single week, usually multiple times a week and am always pleased with my experience.“
“Food, tasty. Beers, tasty. Sports on the TV, awesome. But what I really want to talk about is the bar stools. I have never in my life sat on a bar stool that fit my entire a$$. Thank you. I have never been so comfortable and felt so seen in an establishment. There's something truly next level about being able to sit in a seat that doesn't pinch or cut off circulation while you devour cauliflower in a lighter than air batter.“
