I'm going to give 5 stars, even though this trip was only a 4 star experience. :)Staff seemed really busy. Currently they are take-out only, and we had to wait 30 minutes outside for a bowl of pesto Mac and a cheese sampler.Honestly, we got a pretty small amount of cheese in the sampler, and proportionally a lot of olives. But! It was tasty.My recommendation is to buy a couple ounces of a few different cheeses. Then take it home and make your own platter. :)

We had the Muenster Mac and cheese and the Buffalo Berry sandwich. The Mac and cheese was really good. The sandwich was good, a different touch by having jam in it. I'd love to try other stuff here in future visits.

Lots of different Mac and cheeses available! The pesto Mac and cheese was delicious. We were expecting more cheesy flavor to come through than what did but it was still a yummy lunch with hefty portions.

Fantastic. Cashew-based cheeses are hit and miss in general but theirs is great. Huge portions. Soy curl bacon is excellent--big hearty pieces.

The food here is amazing. I initially ordered a caprese sandwich only to realize midway that my stomach would enjoy one more and order another one. I wish I lived in Portland so I could eat here more often. Highly recommend! I wish I had taken photos before gulping the sandwiches ?

Oh my GOD! This place is the best find in a very long time! Seriously we haven't had any good substitute cheeses out there until now! I lost all hope until tonight when we found Vtopia. We had 2 different, gluten free mac and cheese dishes and were literally shocked how yummy they were. One was a traditional mac n cheese and the other was the zesty battlestar Galactica with broccoli and soy bacon curls. We will be back...A LOT!!! Just a warning their online menu is a bit tricky to navigate but they are more than willing to help. And our server Cosmo was tremendous! I just cant say enough about this gem in Portland!

BEST VEGAN PLACE IN PORTLAND! i love this place AND their customer service.most vegan business’ in portland have snowflakes running the customer service side of things and so it’s really refreshing to eat good for the planet while also being taken care of proffesionally. i had problems with my order tonight and although the phones weren’t working, i reached out via instagram and they made it better than i could have even imagined!plus, the mozzarella really does taste like mozzarella.and the SOUP omg!!!wish this restaurant was in my kitchen!!!

I really appreciate that they have a gluten free option for the pasta. However, the flavor of the cheese sauce is a little more bland than I was expecting. On the other hand, the actual cheese itself is super strong and flavorful, almost too much so.

I came all the way from Vancouver to try this food as it came so highly recommended. I waited outside of the restaurant for 30 minutes for it to open. Once it was was their opening time, I attempted to place an order online. The ordering service wasn’t working. So then I attempted to call the phone number provided on the Internet. You guessed it, the Verizon service was not connected and I was unable to place a call over the phone. So then I walk up the block, in freezing cold weather, shivering having to stand outside of the restaurant and place an order with the girl periodically popping out to show me various cheeses. I was unable to go inside to use the bathroom (I was DYING, I had just driven 40 min) and then was told that even though they had just opened a few minutes ago, it would be an additional 30 minute wait time for my food. Bye, I’ve already been here forever, it’s freezing outside and I have to use the bathroom. I called from my warm car and canceled my order. What a colossal waste of time. I’m headed back to my all time fave- The Sweet Hereafter. They never let me down!

Incredible food!! The best vegan mac I've ever had & the cashew cheeses are incredibly delicious!! Took some home and have been mixing them with veggies, eggs, on bread! Much better than any store brand version you can buy! Thank you Vtopia for the delicious cheese and great service!!!

Very good. I'm not vegan but I actually enjoyed the mushroom BLT. Try the cashew cheese as well. Some of the best vegan cheese I have had.
