“The roots run deep! One of the oldest wineries in the valley! They thought he was crazy to grow in Oregon. Girardet is off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. 40 different varieties and unicorns. What else could you ask for? I will definitely visit again.”

“My wife and I were visiting and we were intrigued by the location being an old station. We had a flight of in-house beers, and dinner.

Hopefully the owners won't be too upset if I wrote that the beers were....entry level? Every one of the 6 beers was perfectly drinkable, and I'd drink each one if it were placed in front of me. But I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to add them to my fridge in the future.

I had fish and chips. The fish was good. Something tells me that the Roseburg Station's selling point is its location, history, and decor, not really its beer products.....and that's perfectly fine as long as you're prepped beforehand.

“It's rather small and few machines but I appreciate the openness of he building. Machines on the right side when you walk in and the register to the left. Nit typically too busy either.”

“Ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. As described, the pasta was cooked to perfection. Meatballs were delicious! The dessert was scrumptious. Garlic bread was a hit with everyone at the table, and the staff treated us like family. It's small and a bit of a hole in the wall place but a delight nonetheless.”

The offer free soda while playing the video lottery machines, also beer can be purchased, and they have some quick snack type items can be ordered off the menu ( also there are several tables to sit an eat an what-not) Also they have a large selection of tobacco products that can be purchased. One thing to point out is they are STRICKTLY A CASH ONLY establishment, although they do have an ATM for those that need it.”

“Man, let me tell you about my experience with rumors back in the nineties, that place was packed thursday through saturday, and I mean packed, you couldn't even get on the dance floor if you tried, one night, I came out of there. Of course, always the hottest chick in the bar or should I say atleast i feli felt like it, every song was my favorite song. Always had my drink rum and Coke.
What a blast, i came out one night standing outside right at the front. Door and a long white limo, there's parks right there. And to my surprise, that limo door opened and my hand was grabbed and I took off in a limo for the first time in my life, right from the front door of a rumors. Well, I aint gonna get into what happened after that, but what a place it's really sad. I remember when that was first built. the mar far chicken, man that was the best. Let me tell you I give you a 5 because I remember what you were when you first opened. I also remember the family that very first owned it The Chinese mother and father, with a couple girls, we lived right across the street from them. Right there in that little Brown house across from rumors, when I was a little girl, i remember they left their Tennis rackets in the parking lot over there before rumors was even built. And II picked them up and took them back, and that's how we met, plus I used to call my mother at her bar to bring all of us kids food home and these people would let us use their phone because back in the early 80s, when I lived across the street from this family. some people didn't have house phones. You know? of course, I'm too young to get into rumors at the time, but I knew the family that built and owned it, then moved down the road aways when I did turn of age. And went in there and wow, they were money making people back in the day. This is a great place. I really wish they could get this up to par again. Man, it's about who you hire, and it's about the desire because at one time, this was the place that parking lot was packed backed.
I have not tried the food in a while. I do not know if the same family owns it. But based on my experience of rumors, it is, or was a 5 ...”

The Lemon Drop martini and the flight of beer was refreshing. Try the golden peach brew because it was smooth. We sat outside with our dog on the grassy lawn patio while kids and adults played corn hole and ping pong. It's a wonderful family place and iur service was excellent on a Sunday afternoon.”

The atmosphere feels like a step back in time in the best way. It’s comfortable, informal, and full of character. From the outside, and even inside, it looks a little worn, but that only added to its charm. It feels like a place that’s been serving good food for a long time.

The service was friendly and helpful from start to finish. We ordered the salmon sashimi, a sushi combo, and a salmon salad, and everything was fresh and excellent. Plus, larger servings than I typically see. I don’t usually mention the tea in reviews, but the jasmine tea deserves it. Most restaurants brew it fairly mild, but this one had a richer, fuller flavor that was outstanding.

As we were leaving, the sushi chef thanked us warmly. I realized afterward that I forgot to tell him how much we enjoyed the meal, so hopefully this review lets him know how much we appreciated it.”

“My order was ready when I arrived. They let me know they had made a mistake and made one of my pizzas a size larger than what I ordered, then tried to refund me money. It was a pleasant suprise, but I did not accept the refund but gave it to them as a tip. Most places would have tried charging for the larger size, or remade it. It was much appreciated and came in handy when I arrived at home and had 3 extra people there!

“We visited this local diner for breakfast with a party of four. I ordered a bowl of oatmeal with blueberries and nuts. It came very thick with a generous amount of berries and pecans. It was good, not great but did it's job. It came with fruit and toast but I declined the toast. My husband had bacon and eggs, everything was cooked properly. Toast was of a nice thick bread and bacon was great. Service was good. Ambiance was that of patriotic nature. Decent value”

“Parking lot has weird layout; presenting issues for wheelchair users.
Food was excellent, above average for Taco Time itself.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, orders were exactly as desired even when adding or deleting items.
Wheelchairs must travel through the drive thru traffic to enter restaurant. Other impediments for wheelchairs to enter the building due to age of building and local geography's affect on parking design.
Bathroom is outside and is not wheelchair accessible (it's even too small for some walkers, which would need to be left unattended outdoors while using the toilet). Because of bathroom location you can't leave door open without everyone using drive thru, so you can't keep eye on mobility equipment left outside. Lots of traffic going by the bathroom doors (pedestrian and cars). Had to ask someone to watch mobility equipment for me while urinating. Very embarrassing and dangerous for disabled users.”

“Excellent place to eat. Excellent sized portions for a good deal on price too. Everytime I travel to Oregon, I make a point to drive to Bubble Tea House for my chicken and rice. I travel from 4 states away and always stop in on my way through. Unfortunately I only get there a few times a year but yet the owners still recognize me when I stop in. The owners are great, the staff as always been great to me, and the food is exceptional. On one of my trips I needed to get my son a birthday gift. As everyone knows there are not any toy stores left like there used to be when I was a kid and the very nice lady even helped me by directing me to a local train store when I was there since I needed a birthday present while I was traveling. The small town feel and the small town atmosphere of knowing where other stores are is second to none. You cannot go wrong stopping in and eating. I have not been to the same restaurant and have received the same exact great food everytime anywhere else. The only complaint would be not being in my own home state. Thanks for the great food, everytime.”

“I recommend the food, however DO NOT ORDER THE HORCHATA UNLESS U TASE IT FIRST!! I just had an order door dashed(4/6/26). I ordered a horchata with my rice and cheese. I was craving an ice cold horchata on this beautiful day. However thats not the case. The horchata has a very disgusting taste...as if it is old and sour. 🤢 The 2 sips i took, tasted sour with a funky, chemical aftertaste in my mouth....almost like a hairspray taste, on top of old sour taste. Yes, I took a second sip, after I shook the cup around to see if that helped....but there is a color separation...the top part has a lighter color than the bottom. That is not normal. Huge disappointment when u order something that you are looking forward to, and it turns out to be something you cant even consume. My advice to the employees, PLEASE TASTE IT FOR YOURSELF AND POUR OUT THIS FOUL HORCHATA AND MAKE SOME FRESH BEFORE SERVING THE HORCHATA TO ANY MORE CUSTOMERS!!”

“The Abby's on Diamond Lake Blvd is the best Abbys in Douglas County. I pre ordered and pre paid for our pizza party. The staff was great. They were very polite and did an amazing job. “My husband and I are truck drivers from Alabama and were in the area for the weekend. We saw Workman's across the street from the truck stop when we pulled in and decided to walk over for lunch Friday afternoon. We were greeted by the bartender the second we walked in, and were offered menus as we sat at the bar. The owner was there and offered to make my cocktail while the bartender was getting my husband's drink. The food and drinks were great and they have lots of seating including an outside patio/smoking area. They were having a live band the next night and allowed us to park in there lot Saturday night for us to come back and enjoy a night out with live music. The owner was there again and immediately remembered us the second she saw us. We would definitely recommend Workman's to anyone visiting the area as they have a great friendly staff that treats you like a regular even if your from the other side of the country. They have live bands, karaoke, and line dancing. We are already looking forward to our next run to the area and will be back!”

It's next to some budget hotels but it could easily do well next to some high class hotels. The food, service and location (for where we started, especially) were amazing! All three of us really loved the food. It was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The service was awesome too. We weren't neglected, although it wasn't busy when we went in on a Monday morning around 8 am. We really enjoyed Elmer 's. I wish we had diners like this back home. I mean, we do, but they don't compare.”

“Amazing customer service! We ordered thru door dash last night. Our order was for a bunch of dim sum to share and one phad Thai combo. Order gets dropped off it's just the combo. The dasher somehow didnt realize most of the order was missing. I chat with doordash customer service who gives me a credit to reorder the items. I replaced the order and get a phone call from the restaurant. The very kind gentleman apologized and said he realized he only gave the driver one bag. He felt bad we had to reorder and was sending both orders with the new driver. Per our request they also included silverware and chopsticks. The order was well packed with lots of sauce too. Rare in this day for someone to admit they made an error but great to see. Food was great too!”

“My wife and I had eating Thanksgiving dinner at The Sizzler in Newport Oregon before it closed a few years ago. The dinner was very good . the turkey was moist, the stuffing and gravy had great flavor. So we decided to eat at the Roseburg Sizzler for Thanksgiving. We were so disappointed. It was the worst Thanksgiving meal that we have ever eaten. The turkey was in big Square chunks and very dry. The gravy was like they mixed flour and water and just heated it up. It had absolutely no flavor. The mashed potatoes and turkey did have a flavor but it was nasty and we could not describe it. The cranberry sauce was so thinned out it was served in a small paper cup so it would not run all over the other food. The only thing pleasing to the palate was the stuffing. It was the worst experience we have had at a Sizzler's restaurant in our life.”

“I just wanted to give a shout out to Ted W. I had to pick up 4 large cakes for our company picnic early Saturday morning. Ted was stocking nearby in a different department (I think dairy) but noticed I had been waiting a while. He asked if I needed help and after I told him what I needed, totally took care of me! The cakes were too many/too large to fit in my one cart, so he wheeled my cakes to the checkout in the bakery cart… all the way pleasantly chatting to me. Romulitos continues to impress! The recent remodel looks fantastic and has really elevated the dining experience. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which is something I always appreciate.

The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal.

I ordered the steak fajitas, and they were outstanding. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The grilled onions and peppers were delicious, and the portion size was incredibly generous. In fact, I was able to turn one meal into three meals, which is almost unheard of these days.

The quality of the food, the quantity you receive for the price, and the overall value are exceptional. At $17, it felt like one of the best dining values around. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that still serves great food, generous portions, and excellent service without cutting corners.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, outstanding value, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and friendly service, I highly recommend Romulitos. They have done an excellent job with the remodel, and it shows in every aspect of the dining experience.

“Whomever is assembling burgers tonight at 6ish pm is killing it! Best looking burger I've had from Five Guys Roseburg. Fries were cooked well tonight (usually soggy), a tad over salted but well 👏 done. I've eaten at a lots of Five Guys in various states & have been waiting (and hoping) this one would rise to the occasion. Keep it up!”

“The Roseburg location has an owner that does not follow the franchise rules. She is rude and their employees argue with you about toppings which by policy are unlimited. We don't even get that many topping just extra cheese and honestly we its not extra. they barely put any own so we ask for more which would be considered normal at any other pizza place and they say the owner won't allow it. that is not the mod way. you have ruined MOD in Roseburg. Go to any other mod and they have music playing, they're upbeat, they smile, they joke around and they most assuredly do not treat the customers poorly. Do yourself a favor and skip this location. Medford, and Eugene are worth the drive not to deal with this place.”
