“Disclaimer, I didn't eat the food myself as I'm plant based. Dennis and Auntie makes it homey. When I look at the pictures and food, it feels authentic and rich, yummies families eat. Portions are great. Definitely smells tempting while I'm enroute to deliver these. Ordered BBQ pork skewers for my Greek friend and he can't stop raving about it. He asked me to get more for him on his birthday. Got the pork adobo for another friend. OMG! Delicious! He's a born and raised Louisiana chef so quite judgy when it comes to food. Definitely, ordering some dishes for my visiting family!”

“We stopped here on a road trip through Salem in April and again this past week. Delicious food and drinks and great salsa options as well. Very reasonable prices and fast and friendly service. I’m sure we’ll go there again next time we’re in Salem!

“Stopped by the Lancaster Dr. Taphouse on a Thursday night to catch TNF and sample a brew. First time visit, and they happened to have a band scheduled that night. Tried their 70 IBU citra hops IPA and liked it. Good and hoppy enough for this old hophead, with a crisp taste and a good mouth feel.

They serve pizza, but also have several food trucks onsite. I ordered from Adan's food truck 2-for-5 bucks pork tamales and boy, were they GOOD! Moist masa, tender carnitas, just perfect. His chile verde sauce was a great accompaniment with a nice kick to it. Almost bought more to take home with me.

The band set up and began playing at 7pm. 90s covers. Listening to live music is always a treat.
Definitely reccomend that you stop by Shades of Brew!

Parking: Parking is somewhat limited.

“Highly recommended! The best part is the restaurant is located inside the same building as the "Pilot" gas station/convenient mart. I always enjoy their vast selection of snacks, drinks, novelty items, car accessories, and other random nick knax. Their restrooms are very nice, a lot larger than most other places, and are kept pretty clean "usually." They even have showers available "for a cost." I find myself stopping by even if I don't need any gas, just to see whats new in their selection.”

Hit up JnB right before the I5 on ramp. The food was fresh, service was nice although it was 2-3 workers running everything themselves including drive through and lobby on a Sunday. Despite waiting a bit for our drinks they did a great job.

The lobby is spacious. Had no problem seating a family of 5 plus one sibling-in-law. The any-drink machine was broken so that was a bummer. Did have to ask for straws after grabbing food then waiting for our drinks.

My favorite are the sweet potato fries. They have a variety of sauces for dips too. I deeply appreciate the fact that they deliver Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. I have limited mobility and have difficulty preparing large meals. I can have the family over and be a happy hostess as a result of this service.”

“Another visit to Sweetly Baked this Tuesday. Completely forgot they have a Tuesday special on Cupcakes, which was a nice surprise. Picked up a few and a couple of their Kolaches. The Chicken Pesto is our absolute favorite. Always welcomed when we come in, which is nice. The place is clean and inviting. Even though I was given the wrong Kolache, they quickly corrected it and even offered a free cookie. Mistakes happen, no complaints here. We're really happy to have found this place and we recommend it to anyone looking for some local sweet and savory treats. And we always look forward to our next visit.”

Tender and juicy inside, nice crispy coating on the outside. Very flavorful! I had the sweet chili sriracha and the dragonfruit sauces. Both were fantastic and paired well with both the chicken and the fries! I had a bit of a drive to get home before eating but my food was still hot and my fries still crispy when I got back. “The staff was AMAZING for my Make a Wish family’s send-off party! Diana, Chris, Julia, and friends were so accommodating from setup of our table, serving food, and helping assist the final clean up. Every staff member wore Disney gear, from entire costumes and Pajama onesies to mouse ear headbands. Mirabel/Julia was a most wonderful waitress and the whole family loved her. Their team provided an entire party for us, filled with balloons, Encanto glasses, crazy straws, and even helped us setup additional decorations. I could tell they were so excited to apart of something special, and the thing is, they were the ones that made it so special. One server told me “we’ve been shopping for this for weeks!” They all smiled as they came by the table to say hello to our wish family. The entire restaurant transformed just for our wish and it was an amazing experience. My heart was touched by the joyful nature of these employees. Everyone came together to celebrate my wish kid, and I am forever grateful for their thoughtfulness. So often we talk about our wish kids bringing hope to the world, but now I realize that the hope also comes from those who come to help.
