“Yesterday we did our shopping and had one of the nicest cashiers. Her name was Megan at register 3. I couldn't have asked for a better person to ring up and bag my items. We bring our own bags and she took a couple and proceeded to bag some items while making sure on my side that I also had room to bag some things myself. Very helpful young lady. I hope Walmart takes notice of their best workers. Thank you Megan.“

“Not only do they have the best shortbread cookies, but they also have the best GF shortbread cookies. They also have sugar-free options, too, which I have not yet tried. “We absolutely adore this cute, quaint little bakery! Extremely attentive, helpful and friendly staff. All of the baked goods are so lovely we wanted one of each! Beautiful cupcakes, yummy chocolate chip cookies - tried both chewy and crunchy and we prefer: crunchy. To us, that is a perfect chocolate chip cookie. Almond poppyseed scone is pure bliss. Buttercream frosted sugar cookies are adorable. And my favorite: today, they had cake tops, imo the best part of a cake. I chose the Oreo cookie top and it didn't disappoint!A must stop when in Newberg and remember it's on a one way street and closes at 4pm!!“

Items were adorably presented in pink and white boxes — closed with a sticker predicting, “you’ve got good taste.”It was true! The sandwich was delicious, and the side salad greens perfectly dressed in a sweet and tangy vinaigrette.If ordering delivery, definitely take a chance on assorted pastries. The staff picked out a flaky, delicately frosted scone and the most delicious mini coffee cake ever. It came wrapped in paper like a muffin, and the tender cake was marbled with just the right amount of cinnamon brown-sugar filling.“
“I have yet to have something from The Hungry Hero that wasn't exceptional. Their sweet treats are so delicious and I think about them often. I have never been to their store front, but always get something when they do pop-ups at Nordstrom at Washington Square Mall. These pop-ups are usually very busy, but the team working moves with urgency and efficiency, all while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. If you want a delicious sweet treat definitely check them out. Everything is good, you won't be disappointed.“
