“There's no way this is mall food court food. It's too good.Gyro was delicious & juicy, perfect amounts of everything on the sandwich. My husband ordered the gyro cheese fries, then complained that there was too much cheese. (I personally don't believe that phrase to ever be true.) But that's what you get when you order something with cheese sauce at a Mediterranean place! Stick with the basics, don't fix what's not broken. We ordered a spinach pie to share, but neither of us were a fan, unfortunately. I expected there to be feta or something in it, but it's exactly what the name states: spinach pie. Nothing else. It's just missing... something. All in all, I avoid the mall as much as possible but needed to go to the MK store & wanted lunch. By coincidence, I found this spot & it's currently my favorite gyro place that I'll make sure to stop by the mall more often.“

“After a very exhausting walk, I just about gave up on finding food in my price range as everywhere I tried to stop for lunch was $20-$30+. I happened to meet one of the staff outside Angelina's, and he was super friendly. I told him I wasn't sure what kind of food I wanted, so I was just looking and would come back later. Well, after checking out another spot and seeing those high prices, I turned right around and went back to Angelina's. The staff member greeted me with open arms and handed me a menu. I decided to get their falafel bowl with their garlic hummus. It took a few minutes to cook, but it was worth it as the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The falafel was topped with hummus, tzaiki, feta, tomatoes, olives, and cucumber. Every bite was so tasty, and it made amazing leftovers. Minus one star for the size of the bowl. Based on the reviews, price, and description, I was expecting a little more size wise. But, the quality of the food was on point. I was hoping to come back during my visit and get a falafel wrap, but they were closed on Sundays.“

“The hummus with beef was very good but a tad bit rich. The beef was seasoned like the dish Picadillo if you’ve ever had that, cinnamon, raisins and walnuts. The hummus and pita alone was a 10/10, with the beef on top (an actual meal) was 8/10, I’d order again but no beef and order a skewer on the side.“

“I tried Sophia's Cafe for the first time today, and I have to say, I was very impressed with the meal I enjoyed this afternoon from their lunch specials. The owner came out to the dining room to speak with my daughter, and I; and, we enjoyed a pleasant conversation with him. Their portions were generous, too and service was outstanding and without a doubt the owners care a great deal about their customers. I was delighted to see a reasonably priced contemporary cafe that also brings authentic middle eastern cuisine and ambience to the heart of Sherwood. I will be going back soon and encourage you to do the same too.“

“Purchased 5 different entrees and each one was unique and very good. The lamb dishes were cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish were suttle and not overpowering. My only complaint being the vegetables that accompanied each dish were way overcooked for my liking.“

“Although there used to be another Persian / Mediterreanian Restaurant in this location before, this is a newer establishment, under new ownership and management. We stopped here for lunch with a couple of friends on Friday at noon... right as they open. The place was empty with no other customers besides the three of us. This is a large restaurant with plenty of seating. They seem to have a large bar as well. We ordered three of the Persian specialty foods, typically served at restaurants... the Ground Beef Kabob, the Chicken Kabob and the Barg Kabob. All were served with fluffy Saffron covered Basmati rice, a grilled tomato and of course each was served the appropriate kabob. The quality and quantity of all the items were very good. The Kabobs were served hot and were flavorful. We will have to come back to try the rest of their menu items.“

“Fairly good Greek food for a fast food-dine in hybrid restaurant, although a bit pricey. At this restaurant, you order your food up at the counter where you can choose to dine-in or takeout. If you dine-in, they give you a number placecard which you can bring to a table and they bring you your food. The food is plated beautifully and with care which was unexpected for the type of dining experience but welcomed! With this in mind, it does take longer for the food to come out (around 10-15 min when it's not busy). I ordered a falafel plate with rice as my side, but you can choose from other options including some delicious fries (not pictured). The server/front employee brought us our side salads first before returning with the main dish a few minutes later. It came with six falafels on top of hummus spread and four pieces of pita. The dish was quite filling and I ended up asking for a takeout box to bring it home with me. I would recommend picking the fries as a side for the plate dishes to get more for your buck as many of the dishes cost $15+. The quality of the plating and the flavor reflects the price, but I don't think I would come here regularly because of it.“
