“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. Now I feel that for those first couple of years, we missed out. This has quickly become my favorite place in Portland. I look forward to any trips I take across town from Vancouver to Tigard, and make a point to stop in and grab a bite.”
“Great food and great service.Parking: Parking in the mall, always full especially in the evenings.Kid-friendliness: Had a booster seat for my son and kids attached plate to avoid plate falling or breaking.”
“Our favorite Portland area brew pub. Just has a great combination of a cool relaxing atmosphere, frequent live music, interesting menu, big windows and patio for people watching … great staff too. It’s a real community get together. Staff are real nice folks.”
“They were very accommodating we took our 81 year old dad for his birthday. First they made sure that the seating was OK for him not to cold or not on the high seats. Then we had the best waitress her name was Rebecca R she was so nice and very attentive and she was busy seen her everywhere plus it was a Friday night. I just had to say something because lately my husband and I have been going out every weekend and the service has been terrible. Thank you for my dads birthday special Tina”
“Had a wonderful dinner here the other day! We sat at the bar & was met with exceptional service from the bartender. He made sure we were taken cared of & not forgotten. The Bloody Mary he whipped up was delicious! The pasta I got was also great & so were the fried pickle spears(seasonal menu item). My bf got the burger & he said it was good. Great place for a lil date night or a girls night!”
“I’m visiting from out of state, and want some seafood. Typed in seafood near me and Pacific Boil and lounge piped up. I drove there and was Greeted by a very nice young man behind the counter and he help my pick out the what I wanted and let me tell you I was not disappointed”
“I had lunch there yesterday with a friend and it was beyond our expectations. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. We ordered the shrimp ceviche and steak fajitas and had leftovers enough for another meal. Also, the staff was pleasant and Betty, who is part of the Margarita Factory family, who gracious and took the time to talk with us. I would definitely urge anybody to visit this beautiful restaurant! I've already planned a girl's night-out there next week... can't wait! (also, the happy hour has amazing deals)”
“The atmosphere is low-key and relaxed. Place wasn't very crowded, so couldn't understand why the service was so slow. Food and beverages were good. Don't believe I'll be in a hurry to return.”
“Came here for the prime rib special, it's Friday and Saturday nights. Great food, I couldn't finish it, I was too full! Prompt service, friendly staff. It's also a pub so sports on the TV's, not sure if minors are allowed in the daytime.”
“I love this place. Great amount of tastings. I recommend the Mari gold, flora green, blue Dorris and sweet vermouth. Nice food selection as well. The bartenders are so great and knowledgeable of their cocktails and liqueurs. If you haven’t been here, come check it out. ***update also get the Lintik, paper plane and apoco spritz”
“Had a really great time, we wanted to go somewhere to chill and do some work whilst also enjoying the outdoors, even though this place is near car traffic, it was quiet. The menu is easy to read and the place is accessible for all people. I want to give a shout-out to our super awesome server Peter!! Thank you very much!Kid-friendliness: When we got there there were no kids, but an hour later 2 families with kids showed up and it was super cool, nothing about it was bad!”
“Always a great experience! The service is fast, friendly and personable. Definitely recommend. As a previous server I can tell they work really hard to make their customers happy.”
“JEAN IS THE BEST She cares about her job and her customers she gives a 110% she brightens up your day she's always got a smile she's a caring person it makes me want to come back the drinks are great there and all the staff there is awesome but Jean is the best sweet kind caring patient and always makes the drinks the way you want I love it there”
“I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. My family of 6 people came for lunch service. Service was great! We were seated immediately and tended to throughout the meal. The food was good, but a little heavy on the salt.”
“My dad took me to lunch after shopping. This was an awesome lunch! Cafe style ...I got a beautiful salad and added chicken to it. The chicken was clean and moist. My dad got a burger with a salad instead of chips and loved it. Great service too. I recommended trying it.”
“Staff knows my partner and I by name. We always come get our usual drink orders and some food. Mike's a wonderful and pleasant owner always personable with his customers.Kid-friendliness: I see kids in here from time to time playing pool or darts or eating food with their folks.”
“Jill is a wealth of wine knowledge. This shop is light and bright and comfortable. Great for a quiet, after-work glass or a larger gathering. Her retail selection is excellent.”
“I honestly cannot say enough good things about Divine Catering! They catered my wedding on 8/20/2022 and did a fantastic job. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully set up. The catering staff were on-time, friendly, and very professional. The team behind Divine Catering made sure that I was taken care of during the whole process of setting up wedding catering. Katherine answered all of my questions in a timely and informative manner, addressing the rough reviews of the past with honesty and complete details of changes that had been made since. Lisa was extremely attentive to our booking and even went to look at my venue before the event to get an idea of what would be needed the day of. She made me feel heard and taken care of during our phone conversations and our tastings. I only got to meet the chef, Alisa, once in passing but she was kind and helped to answer questions regarding various appetizers and vegan entrees.Catering can be difficult to navigate for weddings, but Divine Catering really took the time to ensure our event was everything we wanted and within our budget. I will be recommending them to all my family and friends!”
“We came all the way from the coast to celebrate our daughters 14th birthday, we've never fined here before. I called two days prior to set our reservation. The girl I spoke with sounded young and new I believe this is were things got a little messy. We arrived and checked in with the hostess. I gave her our name and she let me know she had no party of 4 under our name for the whole 6 o'clock time slot. I was freaking out in my head as what to do next. They put us on a wait of 40 minutes, not to much of a big deal. A later drive home but as long as we get in who cares. We were met with an amazing server who's name was Daniel. He was patient very informative. Inquired if we had ever ate there before, which we hadn't. So he let us know what we're the most popular dishes. Loved that. Not once did we feel unwelcomed, rushed or as if we were just another table. And both our hostess ( I wish I had gotten her name) and server helped us conspire a birthday surprise for our daughter. This whole experience could have snowballed into a horrible experience had this team not taking the steps to deliver excellent service. I hope that this review is used as an example of what to do should a problem arise. They were apart of a core memory for our family, and I'm sure 1000s of others. Portions are huge and filling. We started of with pretzel bits with a cheese fondue and calamari. Both very very good. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo, with a virgin strawberry margarita I had the chicken picatta and a cucumber lemonade which I loved. And had a bite of the salted caramel cheesecake ? and a cappuccino for dessert yumm”
“I came to this Auntie Anne's location because we were already in the mall and I got a reminder to redeem my birthday free pretzel from them. I got my favorite garlic and parmesan and I am super stoked and happy to get such a treat!”
“This is a great store and it will make your taste buds sing. I like it for the wide variety of prepared and hot foods. Since the takeover by Amazon I have noticed some changes in the Whole Foods chain. The massive bakery counter with long display cases of wonderful baked items has shrunk massively. Perhaps this stuff didn’t sell well due to it’s high price. Apparently men don’t shave anymore (At least in the opinion of Amazon) since men’s shaving products have all but vanished. I hope the downward slide is not a continuing trend.”
“We went to Cascadia for their Easter brunch, the first time Cascadia was doing this in a couple of years I was told. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with smiles and staff welcoming us, directing us where the brunch was taking place and seating us at our table. Serious kudos to the staff for their welcoming attitude. The brunch itself had excellent food with entire stations for appetizers, main courses, a carving station and of course dessert (see vid for the dessert station, yeh!). Added bonus points for photographers walking around taking pictures of people enjoying their meals with their families, the live music that was at the perfect volume to still enjoy conversations and the champagne/mimosas that were included in the price. We had a fantastic time and looking forward to making this an annual tradition.”
“Cozy and amazing menu and service. I had the "Pick Three" choose your own adventure shrimp with a loaded baked potato as the side and it was delicious and LOTS!If you haven't been to the Red Lobster in a while get back in there! All new and all good!”
“Quite good food for an Asian (Japansse, Chinese, and some Korean) all-you-can-eat place. Good value also, making me wonder if they can be reasonably profitable. Courteous and attentive service.”
“It was our first time here and we had a great experience tonight! Food was amazing and came out super quick. We came at closing but did not feel rushed at all. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Inviting ambiance. Polite servers. Amazing food. Easy parking lot parking. I stopped by at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly busy. I was quickly seated and ordered the Sake Aisuru Don and edamame. The Sake Aisuru Don (salmon sashimi, salmon belly, and minced salmon over rice) was extremely fresh. The meats were so refreshing and filling. The soft and silky salmon meats made my tastebuds sing. The edamame was portioned well and the light salt was nice. I'm pleased to have had an experience that makes me want to return!”
