Whoever the woman is that opened for this Starbucks in the target on Black Friday morning by herself deserves a raise. She handled a line of people efficiently and extremely timely for being by herself. Props to her.
I stopped at Starbucks yesterday to get my dad a medicine ball tea. He is in the hospital after suffering a very traumatic event. I was uneasy and on edge. The barista, Rachel was so kind and helpful. I feel like she could tell something was wrong and just genuinely made an effort to make me smile. I appreciated that small moment during such distress. It's the kind of humanity that is missing in the world. I just want to thank her for that.
