“I had the Salmon and my husband had the ribs. They were both delicious, as was the cornbread and corn. Plenty of food and definitely worth the price. We had take out, so we can't comment on the service but I would recommend this place.“

“Discovered this locally owened business and highly recommend! Ordered beef brisket and pulled pork; there were two sauce choice, BBQ and mustard, recommend the mustard. Both entrees were smoky, tender, and flavorful. The pork had a nice bark on it. The collard greens were delightfully spicy and the brussel sprouts were crisp with a surprising vinegar dressing. Acoustic guitar from 7pm to 9pm was awesome, as was the beer list...a dozen beers on draft.Highly recommend and will return!“

“1st time there today and it was DELICIOUS! I love a good BBQ and I may say they are one of the best around our area. The smoked meat was phenomenal (kudos to the chef) and the mac&cheese was amazing. I love a good Cole slaw and got one! The staff were super nice! Thanks for making one of the best lunches I've had in a long time! We will most certainly be back!“

“Went to a private party upstairs, about 40-50 people, a little tight for moving around with plenty of seating available for all. Food was good, wings hot with a variety of sauces to use, Mac and cheese bits and burritos. Had pulled beef and chicken on slider buns. Mac and cheese was very good-creamy. Open bar with fair choice of beers and liquor for the party.“

“This is such a great restaurant to visit. It's a step above any other chinese restaurants that I've been able to find. I love trying all of the different skewers. And its great that they bring the grill to your table. This is definitely my new favorite Asain restaurant in Pittsburgh hands down! Must come and try w friends! Service is great. Its fast, and friendly. Fun atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for the large size of the dinners! Can't wait to go back“

“I have been here about five times. I had couple meals that were not good- salty pulled pork and a very fatty brisket. I assume it was just a bad batch. Their ribs are pretty good and the portions are generous. I came here many times for ribs and they are always good, no need to try other places.“

“I've lived about 300 yards from this place for the better part of a decade, but today was my first time eating their food. Wow! I have been missing out! It's a bummer that they don't have options to dine in or order online, but the ribs are worth it. They shred easily even with a flimsy plastic fork, and the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. I've been looking for great BBQ, and it was just down the street all along.“

“I recently discovered Dee Jay's and I'm thrilled to say it is one of my favorite new restaurants. It was so very good. Dee Jay's makes perfect BBQ. We tried the house made chips with french onion dip as an appetizer. It was good. For my meal, I had a combo plate featuring a BBQ chicken breast and baby back ribs. Both were delicious. The ribs melted off the bone. They were ?!! On the side I had the refreshing coleslaw and Dee Jay's signature twisted fries. The fries are really yummy and fun. Service and atmosphere were top notch. I will most definitely visit again and I highly recommend.“

“I went there with my father who is suffering from dementia. The server was very patient with him and always kept a smile on her face. I wish I could remember her name to give her a praise directly. My father struggled with the stake he ordered although tasting it myself the steak was perfect yet the manager still took his steak off of the bill because he wasn't happy with it. The service was the best service from any restaurant I've ever been to. And the steak was delicious!“

“I had the catfish and my friend had the chicken fingers. It is all good. To enter the restaurant, walk into the apartment building and follow down the stairs into the banquet room.Parking: There is no lot but there are plenty of places within walking distance where you can find free parking. No one is going to ticket you if you want to use a lot immediately in the area for take out.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Dream BBQ, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. If you're a fan of chicken wings, you're in for a treat because Dream BBQ serves some of the best I've ever had. Their honey mustard sauce is nothing short of amazing - it's the perfect blend of sweet and tangy that elevates their wings to a whole new level. But it's not just about the wings; if you're craving good BBQ, this is undoubtedly the place to go. The flavors are rich, the meats are tender, and the overall quality of the food is exceptional. What makes Dream BBQ even more special is that it's a local business. Supporting local establishments like this, especially when they excel at what they do, is truly rewarding. They've mastered the art of BBQ, and it shows in every bite. So, if you're looking for a place that offers fantastic chicken wings, mouthwatering BBQ, and a chance to support a stellar local business, don't miss out on The Dream BBQ. It's a culinary experience you won't want to miss!“

“An amazing, inviting environment to share delicious dim sum and traditional Cantonese dishes! Every aspect of the experience, from the well crafted cocktails to the impeccable service is without equal in the area, while also providing a more relaxed, family style vibe to the experience. One of my main "go tos" when dining out!“

“Love seeing a staff that support each other. Pick up extra when another is swamped. The folks serving me had backup and I watched the bartender get servers and bussers jump in when 20 orders came in. Maybe a small thing but it certainly adds to the kindness of the staff. Thank you!“

“This longhorn is the best I've ever been to. All of the staff I have interacted with is amazing but one in particular is Jan (I hope I spelled it right). She is an amazing waitress. She has a very big inviting personality. The food here is great.“

“We had the ribs, smoked chicken, green beans, mac-and-cheese, collard greens, potato salad, yellow rice, cornbread, peach cobbler, and banana pudding. The food was satisfactory. My only suggestion would be to allow the smoked chicken to cook a little longer — as it was not as tender as I had hoped for.The restaurant wasn’t as busy, as I had anticipated on a Sunday afternoon (which was a positive); the workers were very efficient. The young lady who took our order was pleasant—it was extremely clean, and had a comfortable feel. In addition, I thought the food was an affordable price. I can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again.“

“Smoke is my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh right now. Don’t miss out on the Philly brisket taco, the cabbage taco, and queso with chips. Amazing quality meat, delicious tortillas, and the drinks and local draft beer selection are divine. It’s hard to find the perfect combo of affordable homemade food, cool chill atmosphere, and good variety of drinks in Pittsburgh lately… and Smoke does it all!Vegetarian options: Cabbage taco, mushroom taco, queso“

“I've been to two college "date-parties" here and both were great! The food was very tasty including chicken fingers, pasta with sauce, onion rings, fries, and salad. The food also never ran out which is so important for an event like this. The bar tenders were quick and efficient while still being friendly (which is hard with 50+ college kids all trying to order). The space is really nice and we all enjoy the fact that there are two rooms. I've never stopped in without attending an event, but I'd guess the service and drinks are just as good!“

“Some great quality BBQ and nice deals on on UberEats. They have most of the typical BBQ place/truck items, like ribs, pork, chicken, and sides. I tried their pulled pork (a pound), coleslaw, mac n cheese, and cornbread pudding. The pulled pork pound meal came with no sides, but it came from the 'by the pound' section, so I expected that. The meat itself was very good, and the texture was perfect. Not too fatty at all. The sauce that came with it was delicious and the portion was great. The meat was tender and extremely juicy. The cornbread pudding was quite good, and a nice balance between savory and sweetness. It wasn't exactly 'pudding' or dessert, but it was great. Little pieces of whole corn kernels and maybe some peppers in there as well. Moist texture. The Mac n cheese was just okay. It was on the oilier side and not that cheesy, but still good. All the sides come in decent portions for the price. The coleslaw was also relatively standard but I enjoyed it. It was not super creamy and still refreshing. It tasted like it was made from fresh ingredients and complimented the meat well. All in all, this place is pretty great. It's up there as one of the better BBQ places in the area. Prices are quite good and the flavors are nice. I'd recommend the pulled pork and coleslaw the most.“

“I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our dinner. Cuddy's Soul Food is located inside of Lawrence Food Hall and if you want more information about that you can check out my review for them. From Cuddy's soul food I ordered a pork soul roll and a steak and cheese soul roll. I started out with the smaller of the two which ended up being the pork roll. It was a bit on the greasy side but the flavor was good. It was very porky and I appreciated the collard greens which cut through the pork and then the sweet potatoes which added a bit of sweetness. Then the steak and cheese roll is what you would expect. Lots of steak and cheese with a hint of peppers which made it a very tasty roll. Then I would I be remiss to not mention the sauce which was sweet and spicy and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed dipping both rolls into it and imagine I would like it on just about anything. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I thought that both of my rolls here were good, albeit greasy, and I would be interested in trying some of their ribs in the future.“

“I tried Walter's Easter weekend as I was visiting my Mom I purchased the fatty brisket, Mac and cheese and potato salad. Upon entering restaurant is clean, music playing bar in the middle and seating throughout the rest of the restaurant. Music playing and to go orders had to be placed at the bar. Bartender was professional, courteous and answered all our questions and if she wasn't sure she went to the kitchen and asked. After placing our order the food came out in 6 minutes. The brisket was full of flavor, tender (melt in your mouth) the macaroni and cheese was made well however needed some seasoning upon adding seasoning ...delicious. The potato salad I am not a fan of due the amount of mustard, and flavoring was not to my liking. Lastly, I would recommend Walter's and I definitely will try more food choices when I go home to Pittsburgh again.“

“Love the place. Food is generally good, a few improvements could be made here and there, but the beer choice is usually top notch. Service is hit or miss. They get slammed, them seem frustrated they are busy, I get it. It’s not our fault though!“
