I'm only giving a 2 star bc normally I love Texas hotdogs, but apparently if u dine in or go in person you get your whole order, but if u call ahead and order for pick up they don't give u all of what u ordered, this is twice now I paid for an item and didn't get it, Texas hotdogs use to be a place I loved to go to get a quick meal but since new ownership took over its now a damn JOKE!!!!!

Went there at 6:45pm to get hotdogs for dinner because they were closing at 7pm, and they already locked the door. Ruined the night. False advertisement. Never going back, I hold grudges.

I am confused why this place is rated so highly. Food was pretty awful. Dogs are just store bought and grilled on a flat top - they were chewy/rubbery with nothing special about it. Additionally, with a name like Texas Hot Dogs I was expecting the dogs to be a bit bigger than they were, but no. I even got my dogs with all of the fixings and still killed each one in three bites. Mac n Cheese was flavorless with nothing special about the chili that went on top of it either. Same chili is on the dogs. Giving it a two star because the people there were really nice, service is good, and it's cheap. But you get what you pay for.

This place was recommended as a must stop if ever in the area. Had a nice classic diner fill when you walked in, very unfriendly staff mostly ( red headed lady ) felt very rushed. Unfortunately I did not get the hotdogs. So I can't give you a review on what they are known for so they maybe the best but going by what I ordered I will not be back to try the hotdogs. I ordered as what they call a steerburger. It was a mechanically separated frozen meat paddy heated up on the grill with cheese wiz on it. This little greasy spoon would really be something nice if they served actual meat and the staff was friendly.
The most important thing is the hotdogs are still fantastic. The lady at the register was rude and impatient. (I was the only person in line, and there was no need for all that.)

Criminally underrated food at every location. When I walked into this location I felt like I was looking at a 1980s list of prices. A burger for $5.20, sides for $3.65 but hot dogs being $2 is a more than other local spots. This is easily reconciled by quality. As soon as I related my order it was brought to me before I could even fully sit down. The service was faster than the cars that speed around the 12th avenue corner the shop is located on. My friend mushrooms were a undercooked in the middle but they had the batch fried up for me only 3 minutes later. I am never disappointed when I get hot dogs and Texas Mac
