Too bad we only got what was left from yesterday since Friday is the last day to back for the week and they don't bake during the weekend. “Within the last few months my girlfriend and I decided to try something different during our weekly Altoona trips so we tried this Perkins location out for the first time. We had a waitress named Elizabeth, she was fantastic to us! A few weeks later we give it another shot hoping that she was working and she was! Again, FANTASTIC! We go again last night but didn’t get her this time but she still made it a point to come over and interact with us and check in on us. Overall we have a great time when we come here and will continue to come back!“
“I am a life long PA boy...a hardy preztel eater from waaaaayyyy back. I remember Charles Chips and when you could buy a 5 lb. Box of broken hards from Hanovers. Sadly, all the pretzel manufacturers started adding sawdust, and God only knows what else to their products....they don't even taste like pretzels anymore. Well move over all you sell out pretzel companies....there's a new King of the Hill!!!! Benzel's have excellent flavor, texture and everything else you'd want in a pretzel stick. “Just stopped here today!!! Best. Dumplings. Ever!!! I first had these when my son's daycare had a fundraiser about 12 years ago. He had a ton of orders!!!! I just recently learned they had a store where you can buy them!! AWESOME!!!! Right now, it's only Friday's & Saturday's but the nice folks who make them (in apple, peach, cherry, & blueberry flavors) are planning to have them for sale DAILY!! If you haven't tried them, I strongly suggest you do!!“
“I am 53 and I've raised 2 boys so I have been to many grocery stores. I absolutely love this store!!! The employees treat you with respect. I buy my tires here, their food prices are great with a wide variety, I bought a kayak and I shop here at least twice a month GREAT STORE !!!!!!!!!!“
“I just want to say how awesome and accommodating the owner is. I've had her cupcakes before, they are fantastic and today is my Mom's birthday. Mom wanted a good cake with sweet icing. The problem is, Mom lives in Altoona and I live in Delaware. So reached out through Facebook after hours and was promptly answered. She took my order, had Mom's cupcakes delivered by 10am. Can't get any better than that!!!! BTW, Mom loved them.“
