“Simply amazing! We are visiting from St Louis and we are so grateful we happened upon this local brewery! Super friendly service!!! The pulled pork nachos were UH-mazing!!!! Loved listening to open mic night as well! I could go on and on….!! ♥️♥️”
“Absolutely beautiful setting, delicious food and loved the Belgium beer. Todd is a gracious host and was kind enough to give us the Altus story. Very interesting. I will be back with many more friends.”
“Oh My Gosh I Love Allegro's the atmosphere is quaint, Friday dinner almost a full house yet Service was Excellent! Approached immediately and sat in the most comfortable chairs for the 2 of us. Within a minute cold glasses of water were delivered. Within a few more minutes the most sweetest waitress (do not remember name but she was 21years of age) arrived to take our order and bring fresh Italian bread. She was very helpful with any questions due to first visit. Dinner salad was a good size (wish I took a photo) The flavor of the fresh garden vegetables tasted as if they had a garden on the premises, so much flavor!SEA BASS is AMAZING! Melts in your mouth, nice size excellent seasoning included was a choice of vegetable and a twice baked potato. Beautiful presentation! Cheese cake was my choice for dessert. First bite "what is the subtle flavor" maybe almond oh my gosh, so good! Allegro has the most incredible chefs, everything was mouth watering perfect! Service was Exceptional, Atmosphere Incredibly Comfortable! My friend ordered filet mignon , spinach salad and the lemon cake and offered a bite of her dessert which too was outstanding.I would consider myself as a Foodie. Nothing brings me more joy than delicious food, Allegro Nailed It! A hour drive from home and I was already thinking when to return before I ever left.I will be back next week to celebrate my birthday because I cannot think of a more perfect way to celebrate.Thank You Allegro honestly I would not change a thing~Perfecto!”
“I love this store! They have so many great natural products! The infrared sauna is amazing! I also had a Zyto scan done to find imbalances in my body and it was great to have some answers to my health issues. The best health food store I’ve found since moving to the area.”
“We celebrated my granddaughters birthday there, it was a good time my granddaughter loved it.Kid-friendliness: Great place for birthdays the little ones can have a blast”
“Meats are phenomenal. Excellent meat packages. Sausage, stuffed chicken, and "The Three Little Pigs" roast are my favorites. Not a go wrong choice here. And MUCH cheaper than a grocery store. Highly recommend.”
“I got a chicken shawarma bowl with rice and it’s delicious to say the least. The man inside was so kind he even brought my food to my car since it was chilly outside. Amazing food and hospitality I definitely recommend!”
“Parking: The lot is on a hill, but there is plenty unless there is a big event.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator available to go to all floors. The handicap parking spots are both in the lot and in front of the building.”
“We came to pa from Tennessee to see our brother we stopped to eat and the waitress was wonderful the Mgr came to our table to check on us as well they were great and the food was too.!! It was Thursday night March 14thI wish I could remember thier ”
“These guys are a different kind of customer service by far. Their some late 80s babies an look the part too lol Just the whole vibe of the place sets the tone for a good night, honest to God its a place to go for some quikk beer an a few minutes of laughter, hell even some venting with very like minded folks.”
“The food was absolutely fantastic, and I had so much that definitely had leftovers to take home. Drinks were always filled, and the gentleman that waited on us was nice and made sure we were happy with everything. It's definitely worth the trip, and I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: They have a good selection of vegetarian food.Parking: There are a lot of spaces in the plaza for parking most of which you will be able to find in a general close proximity to where the restaurant is.Kid-friendliness: It's definitely a kid friendly place, especially if your kid only likes chicken and noodles. They have more options, but I know personally my kids were always chicken and noodles. Also, they definitely have the high chairs and booths if you need them. Not everything is around the hibachi, which can be dangerous for small children, so it is definitely convenient to be able to have tables and booths available.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors definitely open wide enough in order to accommodate a wheelchair to make it through also with the tables being available also helps, plus I did see a person with a wheelchair seated at the Hibachi grill.”
“We had a great visit at the Red Lobster in Altoona. I had the sesame soy salmon bowl. One of the best dishes I've ever had. It's been almost a week and I'm still thinking about it. ? My husband enjoyed his fries flounder as well. Dessert was very good too. Our waitress was very sweet. Our anniversary meal was excellent. ❤️”
“I have not been to Hoss's for some time. The service was good. The food was good. It was just more expensive than I remembered. Steak tips and salad bar was over $21.”
“Excellent upgrade to a college style cafeteria. Custom salads, grill, pizza, breakfast grill, and custom sandwichs. Friendly checkout staff. The only downside is they only have Pepsi products. No Coca Cola.”
“I'd like to give this place a 4.5 ⭐Service was great. I can't recall the waiter's name but he was great! I've had some great steaks and some just ok steaks, but the food on average has been pretty good. The brussel sprouts are amazing.”
“Excellent place to eat , great food , excellent choices , great service , outstanding surroundings, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone in our party raved at the food and hospitality.”
“great place to go and kick back. cold beer and a older crowd with none of B.S that comes with loud crowd. Sirius 70s and 80s music that you can still talk to people around you while watching sports on TV. Washer pits outside and pick up teams are throwing every day. Smoking permitted. [email protected]”
“Low-key neighborhood spot with reasonably priced drinks, friendly people, and accessible atmosphere. While there is no set menu for the bar, the bartender was really nice and worked with me as I explained the flavor profiles that I typically enjoy. Over the course of the evening, she came up with three different drinks that I really enjoyed. Post-COVID, I don't think they regularly accept credit cards, but there is an ATM on site. Smoking is allowed indoors, and a number of patrons seem to do so regularly; however, there is a cute courtyard out front with plenty of fresh air. The music selection is fun and varied although there wasn't a lot of dancing the night I was there. Overall, a fun spot with nice people.”
“Okay I like this place but the bartender on Wednesday and Thursday (Eric) is way out of line and treats everyone like they are in daycare and also gets in to everyone's business.and no I wasn't drunk or even asked to leave. But watching him interact with other patrons was terrible it was to the point when he would walk away I would look around and all you would see was people rolling eyes, shaking there head, arms up like WTF. Gave it four stars because he's my only problem.NONE of the other bartenders act like this,Met them all and found them all friendly.so I won't be stopping in on Wednesday and Thursday From 1or 2 pm till 7 pm. I noticed he doesn't work a lot of hours I think I know why.PS.Jen is a sweetheart”
“We decided to celebrate a special anniversary at Finellis and couldn't have been happier with our evening! We made a reservation and had a cozy table on this cold January evening. We were greeted promptly and while we were looking over the menu, we were given a pre-appetizer of a pasta & sausage salad in a delicious dressing. We did order an appetizer of "Drunken Mushrooms" to start and could believe how good they were and a very large portion too. We weren't rushed to order and when ready, gave our server, Christi, our order. The salads were very generous and fresh and we enjoyed two of the house-made dressings. I had an Italian vinaigrette which we loved so much, we purchased some to take home. We did ask for some bread or rolls and a basket was brought out. Out of the two, the bread was the best! Then came the meals. . .my wife had Eggplant Parmisan over angel hair pasta which she loved! I had a huge grilled pork porterhouse steak, cooked to perfection and accompanied by red roasted parsley potatoes and green beans in Jack Daniels sauce. The only thing we really didn't like was the green beans. . .was hoping for fresh cut ones and we couldn't taste the Jack Daniels sauce. That was so minor and we had so much food by then, it really didn't matter in the context of writing this review. The entree portions were large but yet totally scrumptious and seasoned / cooked to perfection. For dessert, they brought over a tray of about 8 or so desserts to pick from. . .all homemade by Mrs. Finelli herself! Oh my. . . who could resist? We decided to take a piece of Italian Almond Cake with butter cream icing. . .it was more than enough for us to share and especially after a big meal. The dessert was heavenly to say the least and we ate every bite! Last but not least, a big shout out to our server, Christi. . . .she made our dinner so enjoyable. . .friendly and checking in on us to see if we needed anything, refilling drinks and helping us order the perfect meal selections for us! A big thanks to her and Finellis. . .we will definitely be back soon!”
