Every once in a while I eat at a restaurant that makes me regret giving other restaurants five star reviews, because it's not fair to lump them together with the same rating.Autana is one of those restaurants. The food as absolutely amazing. Portions are generous, and the flavors are fantastic.

This was, undoubtedly, some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Absolutely try the manducas; they're revelatory. Service was excellent: this was all new to us, and she explained everything patiently. I would absolutely go back - every day, if I didn't live an hour away.

I was just passing by Ardmore, PA looking for a good coffe, then decided to have a full meal after a glance to their menu as a picky eater I am. There are options for everybody, vegans very much welcome, particularly I’m avegetarian. I had the most enjoyable experience. Excellent environment with style and flavor of Venezuelan food. The caring and attentive service. If you ever are getting out of the Ardmore train Station, around Suburban Square, Haverford, consider stop by and grab a bite.

The food here is absolutely amazing, in particular the guava tequeños and cachapas with beef. My only issue is the prices, which seemed high to me before and have since been raised. Honestly worth splurging on occasionally in my opinion.

The food, service, and atmosphere were fine, but not outstanding. Not a bad experience, but it didn't live up to it's Philly-top-50 reputation. I ordered the vegetarian pabellon, which is more-or-less a $30 bowl of rice and beans. I have no problem with rice and beans, but this wasn't more interesting or flavorful than a $10 takeout order, so it seemed overpriced and overrated.

Wow....what a hidden gem! Came here for lunch and the place was packed! The food was delicious, service amazing and vibe was trendy/modern. I loved being able to try new things ...it's not often I can do this as a vegetarian! They had so many options, including a number of vegan options. Our server (the chefs son) was such a help in making our decisions on what to get. It's a family business and everyone has a role. Loved that! When telling family/friends about this place, they sounded intrigued to try Venezuelan food, but were worried it would be too spicy. All the food we got was mild, with dipping sauces that were mild-medium. From what I could tell, I'd say most of the menu fit into this spice level. They do special menus (like for Christmas) and have catering and to-go orders too. I hope to use them for an event soon!

Restaurant located in the heart of Ardmore. Server and hostess were very warm and friendly. Food came out relatively quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend the Pabellón bowl with beef. Ordered some drinks (non-alcoholic), both of which were refreshing. Friend ordered mint lemonade and I ordered papelón con limon, which is like lemonade and a rich honey. I look forward to returning and trying more tasty dishes.Parking: Street parking is difficult to find, but there is a free parking garage in their shopping district (about a 5 minute walk).

My takeout from Autana came in a container with tin foil. Essentially, I’m eating my meal out of a tinfoil bowl. The food tasted like tin foil.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and now they serve dinner! Came with my parents and didn’t have a reservation but they told me there’s a high top we’d have a strong chance of getting, and we did around 7:45 tonight. We ordered empanaditas, yucca fries, and tartar criollo to start. Everything was amazing. I got the lengua de coco as my entree and WOW. Probably the best tongue dish I’ve had in a long time. My parents were equally thrilled with their pabellón criollo. Can’t wait to return again! Love that it’s byob too.
