I moved here about 8 years ago and tried it one day. Over time i probably go there at least once a month. I have never had a bad meal including breakfast, lunch, dinner. The menu is limited but that probably why the prices are so good. Its very clean and friendly. For the price you can’t beat it. Yes the young buck in there needs to hold his tongue sometimes, but he’s young and will learn that people come to eat and not talk politics.
I have been coming to this small restaurant since I was a young man. When my father was still alive, any time he was in this area he always wanted to stop and grab a couple dogs. I swear the dogs taste the same as they did 40 years ago. Delicious! If you love a good chili dog this is a place you'll want to stop. Nice people, great service and even better prices. Okay, it's a hotdog shack and if you don't like hotdogs you have no business being here. But it is an ideal spot to grab a quick lunch while fishing the fantastic trout streams in the area.
