I hosted my friend's baby shower at the Tavern at the Sun Inn and cannot say enough great things about the venue. From start to finish everything was great. Bill was so responsive to all of my emails, the food was delicious and the waitstaff was excellent. I highly recommend hosting any party there. You will not be disappointed.
I was excited to get the chicken. I received a hefty bun with what looked like a frozen patty that had been ran over a few times. It tasted like they confused salt for the breading. Inedible. I had a side salad, no dressing came on it. I sent this back to the kitchen, with no attempt by the waiter to get me something else. I wondered why no one else was there on a Saturday at 630, now I know.
Maybe just be a museum and leave the cooking to the better restaurants downtown?
Tavern at the Sun Inn saved the day today - actually Scott did! The food truck was closed today and I was sent upstairs to the bar, thank goodness we did! My friend and I had set in our minds what we wanted to beverage but now had no idea since the other menu was specific to the truck.
