“The Hootinanny supports community fund raisers and as a result I went there for my first time to get a drink they sponsored. I took a group of 7 people and we had a great time. The service and bartenders expertise was amazing. Gotta love the historical bar, it's beautiful. I will definitely be back.“
“What a great basement bar. Absolutely love the old school vibe. Excellent variety of draft and bottle beers as well as some great mixology. Food is available from the Corner Room upstairs and will be delivered to your table. After restaurant closes they allow outside food to be brought in. Friday night had two live bands that were excellent. Can’t wait to return.“
“The Omar is now called The Hootinanny [sic], with new owners. It's still a dive, but they're trying to make it a friendly, no-fighting dive, and it's working. It's cleaned up, but not polished, and single women clearly feel comfortable there. Last time we went, there was a pretty good one-man act playing guitar, and $4 drafts of Tröegs Mad Elf, and guys in motorcycle jackets, and smoking is allowed (no food). So... factor all that in, and give The Omar a shot. We'll be back.Vegetarian options: None; they don't serve food.Parking: Not a lot of spots, but after hours, can use the lot next door.Kid-friendliness: Not At All. Do not bring kids here.“

“We stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Definitely a locals bar. Definitely good beer prices. We drank for a few hours for $20 (draft beers) many options on tap. Lots of locals drinking 16oz cans ?♀️ Smoking right outside the door. Free popcorn. Friendly clientele. Crowd seemed to be 45 yrs old and up.“
