“This was, by far, my favorite bar when I used to go out. I haven't been here in years, so I'm not sure if Nikki still works 5 she is the nicest, most welcoming person ever. I didn't meet a bartender there that I didn't like, though. Most weekends was a really fun crown of people. Never worried about fights or idiots. They have the juke box, some games, Jenna and the back patio when it's nice is a lot of fun. Parking sucks some times if you get there too late. All the food has been great from there as well. I really need to get back there ASAP”

“This has became a bimonthly outing for my friend and I for breakfast. We always have the baked oatmeal and the Honey Bear Latte. The staff is always so happy to see us, great service, very clean establishment. You can dine inside or outside under the beautiful huge oak.”

“Found out they have 50 cent wings here every Monday, so my family and I came to try them out. We were not disappointed, they were nice and crispy on the outside but still juicy. Plenty of sauce too, and the Bleu cheese was very good. The regular menu was pretty reasonably priced as well, we will be back again for sure. “I had not been to Union Jack’s in several years and was excited to go there a few days ago. Their menu is pretty robust with excellent pub fare, sandwiches, and wings amongst other items. We sat outside and received outstanding customer service. Our order consisted of fish and chips, a sandwich, burger, and two orders of wings. Everything was delicious. The strawberry habanero wing sauce is exceptional. We will be returning soon and exploring more items on the menu.”

“Usual lunch spot was closed today and I stumbled upon Sweet beginnings. Have driven and walked past hundreds of times but never stopped until today and was very impressed. Prices were great, service was great, and most importantly, the food was great. Got the bacon and cheese fries and shared it which was great, I got the cheesesteak wrap and my buddy got the bacon cheeseburger. Very good food! The owners were very nice as well.”

“Food is bomb. I always get the cheesesteak, Buffalo chicken steak and fries and they always taste great. The guy who cooks and answers the phone and cashes you out definitely hates his life. I'm not sure if it is bc he has no help. I think he would be happier if he wasn't doing everything. Hire some help for him for a few hours a day during busy time. “Seeing as how this is the only place to get real sushi in this town, I can state with confidence that this is the best sushi in Gilbertsville. I showed up at the end of the night as they were closing for take out, and they were extremely good about accommodating me at the last minute. The sushi and sashimi were very good, and the soup that came with it was delicious. Wasn't thrilled with the salad, which seemed to consist mostly of iceberg lettuce hearts with browned edges, but the dressing was good, and as I said, this was the end of the night, after they'd stopped expecting customers. As a former restaurant professional, I know that the salad is always the first thing to go; cut lettuce only lasts about a day. It usually gets thrown out at the end of the night; you have to make more every day. So really, it was my own fault, and I wasn't really in a salad kind of mood anyway, so it all worked out.Having good sushi close by is a very good thing. It speaks well of our little town that we have it.I'm glad Panda Garden is here, and I'll be patronizing them regularly in the future.Parking: Parking at side and rear of building, very convenient and safe.”
