This is the first time trying Recon. I saw they did fish during lent so we gave it a try tonight. It was delicious!! The breading was very tasty and we were very happy with everything (and the lady who took our order over the phone was super friendly and nice!). Will be ordering again as I see they have more than just fish there!!

Had a nice time here, nice flight of beers. Bartender was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the nachos ( was a very large portion), but the chips were too thin. The sauteed buffalo cauliflower was excellent.

2 IPAs, Nashville hot sandwich, garlic parm fries and wings. IPAs were enjoyable, Nashville hot could have used some extra heat ( gotta go to Nashville to know), fries and wings were good. Great service , everybody was so friendly. Nice relaxing environment, I’d go back .

This place hasn't been open too long and it's difficult to find a food menu online, so I scanned the menu QR code and attached pictures of screenshots. The owners partner with "Steve and Benny's" to provide the food. We were informed by our server Nikki, that Steve and Benny's started as a food truck, has grown to include two brick and mortars and their specialty is fried chicken. So, we each went with the "The Steve" and split an order of fries. The Steve is a sandwich which includes TWO nice sized pieces of fried chicken breast (to my pleasant surprise), pickles and choice of sauce (we both chose buffalo). HIGHLY recommend. The chicken was fried perfectly. It was moist and not greasy at all. The buffalo sauce was delicious -- A lot of flavor and the right amount of heat. You can also get the chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce for $1 more but we got it on the side. The kitchen split the fries for us (nice touch) but they were a little bit over cooked (don't know if this is a one off). Our server Nikki was the best. Very attentive and customer focused. They have outdoor seating and are dog friendly. They have a dog menu and offer a 10% discount if you bring your dog during "Yappy Hour" on Thursdays from 5-7pm on the patio.I'm not a beer drinker, so I can't comment on that. But my husband is and he enjoyed the two different ones that he got. This place has a great vibe and is a nice hang. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The service was decent. The vibe was good & the selection was pretty good. Portion sizes are a bit small. Though my wrap was good, the shrimp were not blackened. I've had blackened food all over the country and use blackened seasoning at home often. The seasoning they had was okay, but it was not blackened. I asked for extra seasoning, since it wasn't blackened really. They explained that it's a dry rub. I told her I use it all the time and know what it is. She brought me a weird tan seasoning that didn't taste anything like blackened seasoning. That explains why it didn't taste blackened. A good wrap, but definitely not blackened. I'd go back and look forward to trying the Mac & cheese sometime. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks.

I got a Groupon for here to try it out!It’s in a housing complex within Hastings (so residential) but everything is BRAND NEW - super pretty outside. Tons of outdoor & indoor seating and parking. They have live music on Thursday’s.We tried the gose Lime beer they had on tap and it was a really good sour (of of the better beers I’ve had ).Loved the food! We split between 2 of us the loaded nachos (tons of meat and fresh toppings), also we split a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (fresh, spicy, huge to split).We can’t wait to come back to try some other menu items! Hidden gem!

Super cute brewery in a calm neighborhood!Pros: Excellent beer and cocktails! I got their coconut rum spritz and I could honestly drink about ten of them! Lovely patio, nice calm neighborhood with green space and suburban sprawl. Super dog friendly - they even have a dog menu with pup cups and pumpkin purée quesadillas! Service was prompt and friendly, and the staff were so kind and engaged with our baby and other guests’ dogs.Cons: The food is just bad, everything we had was bland and had a terrible texture. We got the buffalo cauliflower and it was just oily and slimy and soggy. The fried chickpeas had some good spices but no salt so it ended up just bland and almost sweet. The mac and cheese bowl with pulled pork was truly giving school lunch and the fries were over cooked to the point of being very dark and also totally unsalted. We said something about the fries and they took them off the bill which was very nice.We will definitely be back if only for the great drinks and to see how they hopefully incorporate some improvements to their menu over time!

Recon Brewing is a cute spot for dinner and drinks. There isn't a ton of seating, but they do have options both inside and outside. We love how family-friendly it is, and they're French fries are so good! Their tap list is pretty heavy on the IPAs (at least when we were there), and they also had a great sour. If beer isn't you're thing, they have a limited cocktail menu and Narcisi wine, too.

Thank you Groupon for making me aware of this place. Incredible staff. Warm, engaging, helpful. Food was OUTSTANDING and the beers were excellent!! The Louisiana Chicken was DELICIOUS as hell. And the fries were some of the best I’ve had and be warned, a side of fries is a TON. Barely made a dent. Awesome spot. I’m definitely coming back here a bunch.

Great service!! I spilled beer all down the front of me and the server gave me a free shirt so I didn't have to be all wet during my meal. The blueberry beer was very good and I liked the blt salad!
