“Love the food here. We took our two-year old daughter here, and she had Ethiopian food for the first time. There were three of us. “We visited Charming Star Playroom with my 3.5 year old twins for a Valentines Day party with Minnie and had an excellent time! First, I cannot go without mentioning how clean CSP is for a place that has young children touching each and every surface daily. SO clean. Wipes, tissues, and sanitizer are never too far away. Socks are required for everyone so don’t forget those! If you do forget they have some you can buy. They also have snacks and drinks available to purchase if the event you attend doesn’t include them in the ticket price. I thought it was really nice that you can buy a single ticket and pay $10 at the door for each additional sibling. I love that they have chairs and couches in the play area for adults to sit and maybe enjoy a few minutes where you don’t have to chase your kid(s) around. I don’t have infants anymore but noticed there were high chairs in the bathrooms to stow a child so you can use the restroom without worrying about your kid licking the floor. GENIUS! There’s a million different stations to play and jump and climb, there’s no way a child could be bored here. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I feel like I could go on and on… I’m very happy with our trip there today and would love to go back soon.“

This location is inside the KOP mall for that midday retail therapy and the food court for some food that the cafe may not carry. I'm going to check them out one day. I'm grateful I finally made "one day" happen. I received the weekly email reminder that The Larry Price Quintet was scheduled to perform. I read the bio and really liked that Larry Price had his students accompanying him. The Venue: Intimate and cozy with a fantastic sound system. The Cuisine: Asian fusion with healthy portions that are huge on flavor! What We Njoyed: Deep Fried Wonton Strips - w/sweet and spicy Asian dipping sauce. 5/5 Suyun's Famous Shrimp Fried Rice (mild and medium) the medium has jalapeño heat and it definitely has a little kick. 5/5 Jamey's Special Wild Caught Rock Shrimp Tempura w/garlic chili aioli, broccoli florets and jasmine rice. 5/5 Lemon Drop Martini and Mitchell & Mitchell Cabernet Sauvignon Everything was delicious and I'm not sure what they season their broccoli with but ummmm yummy! The Performance: Superb.... Standing ovation!! As Jamey mentioned when he introduced Larry Price, "He's been around the world more times than Santa Claus"! Mr. Price certainly has Santa Claus energy and magic on the saxophone. He has to be an extraordinary educator as well since the 4 young men that made up the whole of the quintet sounded as if they have been playing for decades. I wish all of them much success in their future endeavors! The Staff: We were greeted by Jamey when we walked in. The gentleman working the bar, the lovely waitress that single handedly worked the entire venue and the Chef's were all delightful and a major part of why I'll return. “Where to start!!! I happened to be at Upper Darby HS this morning doing a favor and decided to see what Yelp recommended near me. There were the usual (Tank and Libby's....Sabrina's....Kettle....etc), but I'm a common guy by nature and wanted to get back to my corner, neighborhood diner roots. All these fancy places starting me to talking with a Main Line accent when I grew up in New Castle.... lol.... This place showed up, and although there weren't many reviews, they were all excellent. Plus, looking at the pics, this was the vibe I was looking for. Walked in and was greeted by Patty and Marla. Within 5 minutes, they made me feel like a regular, when I had never even been there before. I ordered a cup of coffee while I checked out the menu. I NEVER would've expected such a great cup of coffee from a corner spot. It was worthy of La Colombe. For breakfast I decided to have the 2XL egg mixed grill. This included...... get this..... two scrambled eggs (i added cheese), home fries (I added peppers and onions), two slices of thick slab bacon, two pieces of sausage, two slices of ham, and one piece of scrapple and toast on the side....... All this...... for only $11.95. While I was eating this hearty, delicious meal, in walks the owner, Jason. Young man is doing the damn thing. Owns this diner and the mechanics shop across the street. Very personable. So many of our young black men are out there doing positive things like this and you don't hear about it. I'll tell you this. I live 40 minutes from here but I will support and promise to have my a** in one of those chairs at least once a month.“

“Stopped in to grab breakfast on the way back from Philly. It's a beautiful location with a very friendly and accommodating staff. We had lattes, a waffle, and a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich was good, the waffle was doughy and didn't have a lot of flavor. The lattes were decent. We hope to try it again sometime.“

“Today was my first time trying this place and it was absolute food heaven. I got the pineapple banana kale smoothie, the hummus avocado wrap and the gluten free chocolate chip banana bread. All three items are must-trys if you go. They were so fresh and delicious. The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was welcoming and the prices were affordable. As we are super particular about food, Basil helped us with suggestions on the menu, was absolutely hilarious, so helpful and made our entire day! She and I have both been in the customer service field for a very long time, and he again was just super great. Lemon ! Ricotta are phenomenal tooKid-friendliness: I would take my 12 yr old here no prob, the menu is very kid friendly even outside the kids menu“
