“At this point, Sabrina’s is a MUST on our restaurant rotation. We haven’t had anything on the menu that wasn’t great. I’m not a chef, but everything seems to have a unique twist, or some really high quality ingredients that sets it over the top. This time (pictured) we had the Wild Mushroom Toast, the Philly Omelette, and the Huevos Rancheros. All amazing, and the portions are generous.I would also recommend the chicken & waffle (crispy perfection) and the breakfast tacos (best we’ve found since we left Texas. Don’t forget to ask for the sriracha!)The whole place seems to run like a well oiled machine, the staff are always nice and friendly, and the manager has helped us when we needed it.If you haven’t been before, it’s not the world’s biggest space, so expect some of the tables to be slightly close quarters. But definitely don’t let that deter you!“

“First Watch is a chain; thus, their approach is the same: I personally ate breakfast in one in Greenville, Delaware.A very healthy breakfast:1. Hot oatmeal--seems to be new to the menu. lots of generously-sized raw fruit mixed throughout. Although some milk and raw sugar were supplied, the sweetner was not really needed.2. A healthy, cold, vegetable drink of kale was tasty, but with way too much ice--giving me, of course, less to drink.3. A delightfully-tasty grilled blueberry muffin was part of the mix.4. I was told I HAD to order FOUR pieces of bacon (I wanted two) . I declined to order it. Turns out they aceded to my request.5. My moderate breakfast came to $21.28 with a 20% tip--a little steep to me, but still very enjoyable!“

“The reason for my 5* rating is the people who work here, specifically the weekday morning crew. They are some of the friendliest, most patient people I've ever encountered. You can see that they enjoy working with the customers and each other and that creates a great atmosphere.“

It gets quite crowded on weekends so come early for a spot. They have a cute outdoor patio for the warmer months.“

I walked in and the gentleman at the register recommended “the Antonio” sandwich…and let me tell you, I came back the next day for another one! It was so good! “The service was phenomenal. The food, delicious. Best italian restaurant in Philly, the closest thing I've seen so far to an authentic italian restaurant in Philly (I stayed in Italy for 6 weeks). We got the tiramisu and gelato, and we got the carbonara and pappardelle al ragù. All of it was just so good. I wanna come back again, but I need to save up for it because it was very pricey. But worth it.“

“Delicious cold brew and really nice baristas. There's so many great options for drinks and this is also the perfect place to stop by to stock up for a picnic. You could sit in here and do work, but the seating is more for a little chat versus a long haul work day. This shop is in a garage in a good way. Great philly spot with awesome coffee. “LOVED IT HERE! Truly authentic Italian cooking, with authentic ingredients to purchase. The staff was so friendly and accomodating on their menu. We had to make a slight change in order for a vegetarian, and they had no issues. We tried their breakfast sandwiches & lunch sandwiches, and each bite was jam packed with substance & flavor (I mean, just look at the layers in my photo.) Fresh ingredients, and an overall quaint/bright spot. This would be an awesome place to post up and get some work done, do some people watching, and enjoy delicious food. Not to mention, their baked goods looked out of this world. We wanted to get so much, but I landed on their passion fruit donut, partly because it was the last one left (so I figured something must be good!) And let me tell you, their dough is different. The donut was dense & fluffy at the same time, and their passion fruit flavor was y-u-m-m-y. I can't wait to go back to try more sandwiches and get some grocery shopping done!“

“Have seen a lot of people say “delightful” and that’s an apt description. Family shop that you can tell, but what they’ve built is absolutely a marvel. “For my wife's and my wedding anniversary dinner, we ordered around 100 individual cakes from A La Mousse for our guests. We ordered mango mousses, papa bear cakes, and tiramisus.We all loved them!! We received so many positive reviews for the cakes, especially the mango mousse. The cakes were the perfect size also, presented beautifully, and all in all we thought added a really special touch to our celebration.Lynn and her staff at the South Street location are super friendly, helpful and were great to work with in the preparation for this event. This is definitely our go-to cake place in town!“

“A hidden jewel for good coffee nestled in Old Rittenhouse Town, Wissahickon Park. (A Beautiful area to hike or mountain bike (two separate trails) or walk your dog ). It is a coffee shop and bike shop. The surprise was the quality and freshness of the coffee. My Americano was delicious. The beans were freshly ground, and the cup was Full of flavor. The young gentleman that served me (and my dog!) was very friendly and welcoming. There are a couple of picnic tables outside to sit and enjoy your coffee and the beautiful historic Rittenhouse town.“

“I’ve gone in twice for birthday cakes. I’m horribly last-minute, but luckily they always have already-made birthday cakes for sale which are DELICIOUS. They’re super flavorful without being too much, and they’re beautiful to look at. Plus they can write a message on the cake very quickly. I’m a fan!“

“I came here for the first time after an otherwise hectic morning and had such a delightful experience. The coffee and quinoa bowl were delicious and I am obsessed with their HUSKEE drinkware, which is made from recycled coffee husks. This place is a tremendous find, clearly with a chef from city-level fine dining. The chicken salad sandwich is fresh with an incredible array of fresh herbs in the mix and crunchy yet soft sandwich bread. You’ll surely not go wrong with a grain salad topped with chicken - super high quality meat - the difference is clear. I was also impressed by my matcha latte - not as much by the chocolate chip cookie. The grapefruit soda was also distinct with a hint of thyme and a perfect amount of sweet and bubble. “What we ordered: Baker’s Basket, Continental Breakfast, French Omelet, and a hot latte.I’d recommend the Continental Breakfast if you’re indecisive or if you want a variety in one order, which was fun for me to try. I love the croissants here because they are not too flaky yet still buttery and fresh. However, the scone was too dry for my liking, and the toasted brioche was okay. It was a fun breakfast for us with friendly service.Be mindful of the parking as well, because you’ll need to parallel park and pay for the time you’re there. If you’re even a couple of minutes late, you may end up with a ticket, which was a painful experience for us.“

“This morning, as I was on my way to work, I had a little bit of time to grab a cup of coffee before catching my train. I came across this quaint cafe and decided to check it out. I am so glad that I did. Not only did I get a cup of coffee but I also got an egg & cheese sandwich on a croissant. My breakfast was absolutely amazing. The croissant was buttery and fresh. The sandwich literally melted in my mouth and the coffee was the finishing touch! I told the workers that this was the best breakfast sandwich that I ever had! “Clean minimal shop with quality matcha products and great ice cream.Strawberry and earl grey swirl are my current go to after dinner in Chinatown, however it is a seasonal flavor so get it while you can. I’ve also had the hojicha float which was refreshing and had a deep roasted nutty flavor with an edge of bitterness.What I enjoy most about this place is the typical Asian compliment when it comes to dessert “not so sweet”.Surreal is quite trendy but I find myself becoming quickly tired of it due to amount, all the toppings, and just the overall sweetness of the ice cream whereas matcha Maiko has the perfect amount of sweetness to remind you it’s a treat but not to the point where halfway through you feel like need water or tea to tone down the sugar“

“Went here for the first time yesterday with my friend, and I must say I felt in love! Don't be fooled by the size of the place. It may look a bit small and old, but the menu is wonderful. They have about 100 types of lassi (not just mango lassi), ranging from fruit flavor, veggie to peanut butter. We got a mango - papaya lassi, a rose lassi and a chicken chatt. It's hard to say which one was best, because they all tasted wonderful. extremely aromatic and not too sweet (Yesss!) The owner was really friendly and nice to us. We got overwhelmed by the menu, so we stood there 15mins just to study it. Lol and he just chatted to us the whole time and making great great suggestions! I haven't met such a friendly, sweet and nice owner in a very very long time. And you can tell he's sincerely nice to you. And other customers there were very sweet as well. I had been wanting to try this great spot after bemoaning Philly's lack of respect for diner culture. Fitzwater Cafe fits the bill perfectly and I will order the frittata probably every single time I go. Totally indulgent with cheese and veggies and served with rosemary potatoes that were some of the best breakfast potatoes I've had in a minute. Your mileage may vary here. A few things that were less than optimal: + Food did take a bit longer than you would expect. Our waitress said there were a number of large parties ahead of ours that lead to the backup which I appreciated. + Stool seats at the bar aren't the coziest. + My boyfriend's scrapple croissant on special was really good but not something he'd go for again. I had a bite and agreed it was a little too mealy/rich a sandwich to enjoy. + I would avoid the specialty coffee drinks and go for your standard diner coffee. Espresso was burnt and bitter. But do NOT skip the orange juice! Best $5 i've spent in a minute. Diner lovers unite!“
