“Took my mom on a Mother’s Day weekend. We stopped here for lunch while on our way somewhere. The burger I had was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. No joke. The soup was excellent, and the fries were amazing. I watched my mom who picks at food eat almost her whole plate of salad. Highly recommend! Clean, professional, and great service!”

“We celebrated my mom's 70th birthday at The Water's Edge on Friday night. We had appetizers, main entrees, dessert and drinks. Every single bite was delicious! We could not have asked for a better meal! The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was beautiful. Such a special little place. Can't wait to go back!”

“Love, love, love this place! The question should be what don't I recommend and the answer is NOTHING! We stayed at the b&b so had the opportunity to have several breakfasts, plus we ate dinner here a couple evenings. Mark is a fabulous chef with a grasp of fun and tasty food combinations. Breakfasts offerings were from traditional to comfort to just plain fabulous. The dinner menu is compiled weekly by Mark and it makes you want to eat here several times in order to try the various dishes. On separate occasions we had a couple of the lemon cocktails, the fois Gras appetizer, curry soup, sea bass (phenomenal), lobster pasta, prosciutto flat bread, chop and both desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious! We needed a few more nights in order to sample more of the menu! I highly recommend eating here, and if possible on more than one occasion!”

“Honestly needed a actual good seafood place around here. None of that long John's or anything like that.Got some of the catfish and that fish had a nice crunch from the batter and the actual fish just flaked apart. Wonderful flavor.Also enjoying the coleslaw which I'm usually not a fan of.Definitely check this place out! Good food and good vibes!”

“Lovely lil taco joint in the mountains. Surprisingly good food. We went back here 3 times.This nearly compares with the top Mexican places one would find in NYC.Oh and as the lady says "the habanero salsa is really spicy" ?”

“BEST place to get a cheesesteak on the mountain (in my opinion)! Not only is Sherry an absolute pleasure to talk to but the food DOES NOT disappoint. My kids love the funnel fries and cheesy bacon ranch fries. The chili cheese fries are a definite go to. I get a cheesesteak loaded (mushrooms, onions and sweet and hot peppers) with mayo and ketchup. Boy is it LOADED and.....OUT OF THIS WORLD. “I was visiting the area with my friends and we decided to grab a pizza. The LARGEST large pizza I've ever seen! The crust was crisp and the sauce was rich. We order mushrooms and spinach on it and it was DELICIOUS!!”

“I can't say enough good things about the service. On vacation, ordered food and my phone died. Couldn't find the delivery driver who waited on me forever. Finally, got to call and they brought the food right back. The lady on the phone was so sweet. The food was yummy. My kids were happy. Couldn't ask for more.”

“My family and I came here for breakfast because we didnt want to spend another 80$ on the breakfast buffet at Great Wolf Lodge. The Diner is well maintained and the food was beyond expectation. The greater was pleasant the waitress was extremely helpful and the cook was on point. The sweet potato french fries were cooked to perfection and not soggy. My sister had the Greece special and was stuffed. The delicately crisp spinach pie was delicious. I myself had the gyro which was also well made and I could tell the tzatziki sauce was homemade. Very nice. If we come back to the Poconos again I would definitely consider stopping her again.”

“Such a great find for breakfast/brunch/lunch! We got the flavored iced coffee, cinnamon roll pancake, and the strawberry Nutella muffin. Every item was a 10/10. They allow dogs only on the outdoor deck, the service was amazing- the servers brought out water and whipped cream for our dog- we were so pleasantly surprised!”

“This place was amazing! We left Kalahari to have dinner in town, and we came up on this fun restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious and they had many desserts to choose from, but the best part was all the activities that they have for the kids. They were a few bouncy houses/inflatable's, rock walls, ropes, and a large gymnastics/tumble mat. The service was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place for anyone, especially with the family!”

“Have been to this place twice now, on two separate trips in the area. Both visits were very good. The vibe is country, quaint and welcoming. The kids in our group got a kick out of the pig decor. Since we had a larger party, they seated us to the back of the restaurant which was more quiet which we appreciated. Love that the food is served on a fry pan and the portions are large. Shared the platter for two that came with eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes and home fries. Very tasty. Will surely come again on our next trip.”

“What can I really say about this Pizza shop. We traveled from New York to go to Kalahari. After settling in we were starving and didn’t want to pay crazy resort food prices so we googled and found Joe’s pizza. We traveled about 18 minutes to get here and me being a New Yorker and of course high standards for pizza. I was surprised to meet a fellow New Yorker (Joe) making pizza. He is a really nice guy and hands down his Pizza exceeded my expectations. I didn’t think it was possible but the pizza was delicious. We didn’t get to dine in and talk some more. Since he had to head out and close early but his service was great and I am a fan. If you’re in the neighborhood it’s worth the trip.Tip: I would recommend the buffalo chicken pizza.”
