Restaurantji unveils Canonsburg's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“After moving from Austin, TX last year we were struggling to find good tacos. We all LOVED the food from Los Bajitos. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You order at a counter. The hot salsa was awesome. We ordered chili con queso, steak tacos and grilled chicken and cheese quesadilla. All were fantastic. Also, the mango salsa was fresh and so flavorful. Highly recommend checking this place out!Muy delicioso!!!Kid-friendliness: My 10 and 11 year old loved what they ordered. Los Bajitos offers affordable kids meals at $6. However, my kids were hungry so one ordered the steak taco plate and ate everything. The other ordered grilled chicken quesadilla and ate half, we took the other half home.“
“Colette the bartender is always so great to see and she is wonderful to talk to. On top of her kind personality she is very good at her job, fast and efficient. I regularly come see her and I see she has other people that regularly see her as well. If you go to Mad Mex go sit at the bar and see her you won’t be disappointed!“
“How was the Taco Bell? Well, for starters, structurally sound. I was actually going to Taco Bell, just drove past it, but it was standing up pretty good.Without having actually gone, I can't say I paid much attention to the general atmosphere inside. In the interest of fairness, I have to assume the restaurant to have been clean and the employees friendly until proven otherwise.I'm also not able to fairly judge the food. You see, I didn't stop there. But I've had items from Taco Bell plenty of times, I'll assume them to be at roughly middle of the pack? That seems like the safest bet, considering I didn't actually Run to the Border that day. It's a funny thing, the human condition. You sit down to write a Taco Bell review and end up wondering what might have otherwise been. What crazy changes could my life have had since last week if I just stopped in at Taco Bell?I probably just would have gotten home like 15 minutes later or something.“
“I go to the location at 3840 Washington Rd all the time and I am always pleased with the food. On 11/10 2021 around 6 pm, I went there and while waiting in line a lady with a chipotle uniform on was yelling and berating the crew that was working there in front of everybody in the store. It made my girlfriend and I very uncomfortable and it was extremely unprofessional. While this was going on, the crew still were very friendly towards us, took our order and made our food in an efficient manner. After several minutes of her yelling at them, the lady finally left. I asked the crew if that was their manager. They informed me that she was a manager from a completely different location and I believe her name was Cheyenne. I am very impressed with how the crew continued to work well throughout the major scene Cheyenne was causing in the store. I will gladly come back to this location many more times. However if I ever enter another location and see Cheyenne working, I will immediately turn around and leave. The way she was screaming at the crew was completely uncalled for and humiliating. Again, I want to commend the staff at this location for the way they pleasantly and professionally handled the situation, especially when that "manager" was incapable of just being decent.“
“Excellent food! And, even that feels like an understatement.(Despite not being a big fan of sauces, I loved the Tree Chile green sauce, too!)Would love to see them expand and come into Pittsburgh City soon.Until then, I hope to go back soon for the lengua and the tripa tacos!“
“A few places I frequent are partnered with Panaderia Jazmin, and when I was in the vicinity of this bakery, I had to stop. All the pastries are kept in a self-serve display case. You grab a tray and tongs at the door, and then you fill up your tray with the pastries you want to take home. You hand the tray over at the register, and they package them up for you.I loved all of the items I went home with, and I look forward to stopping there again.“
“The Food and Drinks are Spectacular! The Service is Amazing and attentive!I recommend the Taquitos as a Appetizer!WOW! So Amazing! I can't wait to go back and try some more items.Fish Tacos definitely lived up to the Hype I heard! So Good!!!Highly Recommended!Parking is not an issue a Parking Garage is located just a few steps from the Restaurant. Also it's free Parking under an Hour in the Garage so it's not that bad.Well worth it!“
“One of the cleanest restaurants I've ever seen in my life. Great service and employees. I got to speak to the chef, he told me about the amazing broth that he makes. I really liked that the most, very flavorful. I had the steak tacos, and the meat was very good quality. Very tender. I'll definitely be back to try more things on the menu.“
“This is actually our favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Pittsburgh! Their chips and salsa are the best are they are one of the few places that doesn’t charge for extra chips now! The menu is huge and everything is great. Their queso is really good and has some spice to it. We are always served really quickly and food comes out fast. There can be a wait for groups so get there early! Staff is very friendly.“
“I’ve been to their PGH restaurant and was so excited to visit this new location!!! Oh how a I’ve missed their food! I would never expect less than amazing but did experience it to be even better than expected! The food as always was excellent. You can truly taste the passion they have for their food! INCREDIBLE! The staff is so welcoming and you can tell they proudly wear their LC name. The new salty air location near the beach is certainly an added touch to their already amazing vibe. How fortunate for all those who can frequent them! CBG misses you! Enjoy! I can’t wait to go back!“
