“It does not matter how many places we try, the Catty Corner is our go to neighborhood restaurant. It is not dark and dingy like Race Street, there isn't a young bartender with severe control issues like Hammerhead (she is really MEAN), and you don't feel like you are in a loud cave like Grove Street ALL while being ignored. The employees all say hello and smile (ALL ~ kitchen and counter staff, drivers, waitresses and bartenders, the owners). They consistently work together to ensure a satisfying experience and the food is great. Even the outside dj's are personable and bring a positive energy. More places should model the Catty Corner.“
“WOOOW!!! This place has such quality flavors at such an affordable price. The salad is AMAZING, fries hit, lamb and beef platter A++ and the fried chicken is top tier!! So good to see these options halal as well.Mango lassi does not disappoint, so creamy, so mango. We’ve all been let down by someone’s ‘lassi’ at least once and when i say this one is worth it, you should know….Takeout is fast and efficient. Usually ready in 15 minutes. They have an app too, and give discounts and points to returning customers with or without the app. The website remembers your email! Keeping up with the times :,-)I have also eaten in and love the vibe too. Beautiful wooden tables and the owner has good taste in art.10 out of 5 this place is a blessing.Vegetarian options: Falafel and mango lassi are great for vegetarians. And there fries are stellarDietary restrictions: Halal!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp!“
“Very nice little coffee spot right off of Broad street in Downtown Bethlehem. The atmosphere is very cozy and small with very friendly workers. The coffee selection is extensive and comes out really good. I highly recommend that everyone try’s them out!“
“My family just moved and my son wanted ice cream ‘so bad’ so I googled ice cream near me and saw this place was close and had great reviews. We ALL loved the ice cream but the girls behind the counter were so very sweet and very patient with my son who couldn’t decide ANYTHING and took a while to order. I love it here.“
“I have been stopping by the Java Joint for at least 10 years now. Before that, on my way into the office in Coopersburg, I'd swing by the chains occasionally. And while I do like the coffee at places like Starbucks, I'd much rather support a local, small business. The first time I ever stopped at the Java Joint I was sold. The cappuccino was amazing, great flavor. My usual go to is a large hot latte, no additional flavor, since the espresso has great taste. From a food standpoint, everything has been phenomenal. Their cannoli and bagels are awesome. The donuts that they get from Mary Anne's were a great addition to the line up. They also have great seasonal buys such as fastnachts that you can pre-order. To top it all off, the customer service is spot on. Simply great people that run the stand. I highly recommend trying this place out. I'll usually go for a run local to the area and then hit this up on the days that I drive in to the office. Great way to start a day!“
“It's always great when you go to a restaurant small or big in this case it was very small but great in every area service right off the bat...food and the portion ...nice...price ...perfect...can't ask for more...ordered a lamb and beef gyro with everything and onion rings...great onion rings ..$12.50...Thank you guys for keeping it real during these hard times...2 could've eaten from this order..God bless!!“
“Sorta out of the way but the bar was busy. Nice flights, I had a glass of white Tolino Wine. It was good but only one red and one white available. Looked like a good cocktail menu. We split the pretzel nuggets and a good cheesesteak panini. Very crunchy and meaty. Service was fine and the place was nice and clean.“
“I've been going here for years! Love this tuckef away spot for food on the go at their drive-thru and dining in equally. Great service and the owner is in often. Huge selection of menu items. Can't go wrong with anything on their menu!Vegetarian options: They have vegan substitutes and GF bread, just ask!!“
“This location is great. The service is always good. We like to try the different things not just the custard or gelato. I worry they will get frustrated trying to explain all the options; nope! In fact I asked for a new concrete combo; yes that's a thing. The worker asked if I wanted hot fudge on top; game changer! It hits the spot after an evening walk. Parking on the side can get dicey so be careful. There is seating in the back to enjoy your treats.“
“Came here for the first time on a hot date with my wife . She got a Chai Latte and I got a Pour Over Guatemalan brewed 12oz coffee. Prices are adorable as well. Place is legit. Vibes are cool, music is good and the coffee was phenomenal. Wife says the chai latte was good as well. Only thing I can say is, parking is extremely difficult on a Saturday afternoon (as it should be near the mall), I can see it being better on like a Tuesday morning or so. Definitely recommend.“
“The Whitehall location has been my go to spot for the past 9 months. It's a must before I start my work day. Drinks are flavorful and super convenient that I can order online and it's ready within mins. Truly beats the locally over priced chain. Oh, and they have points system which is always a perk“
“This place is great. The appetizers were awesome, especially the Kalamari and Dolmades. The Greek salad was excellent, and my wife and I both enjoyed our Authentic Lamb Gyro and Greek fries. Great atmosphere, and the service was exceptional. I am looking forward to my next visit.“
“I just got back from visiting taco food trucks in phoenix az. I returned home and wanted more food truck foods and found this place. It turns out it's not a food truck, but a full blown wheel-less establishment. It was nice inside with really friendly service. I got the Buffalo chicken poutine and spent $2 more for the tots instead of the fries. I got a large and was stuffed afterwards. I'll def be going back“
“This was a very special day for my husband and I. The old Victorian home was very intimate and comfortable. The hostess was polite and helpful. Even though the menu was limited it was prepared individually and very delicious. We were happy we could take our own bottle of wine which I wish more smaller restaurants would do. It’s by reservation only. Our impression was that the owner who is the only chef wants to keep it secluded and special as they head towards retirement. All pastries were homemade and delicious. We hope to visit again soon. Parking is metered.Dietary restrictions: We are pescatarians so the Thai seafood was a great choice for us. Thanks.Parking: The evenings are easier for finding metered street parking. We were able to get a spot near to the entrance.“
“What a great vibe from a nice smaller brewery. Super dog friendly, as they have bowls for water for your pup! The beers were diverse as well something for everything. They have a blonde that has all the coffee aromas and totally doesn't look like it should be a blonde!Update, different Blonde, but has even more coffee and caramel notes. Try the Wake Up Call!“
“Great assortment of stores at this shopping center! There is a Carter's store with nice clothes for the little ones, from infants through all children's sizes. There's a Barnes & Noble bookstore, with great selection of books and toys. Also there are lots of adult clothing stores that I need to check out more, including an L.L.Bean store! There is even a wine shop with Nissley Vineyard wines.“
“We have been wanting to make it out to Funk Brewing for a few years now as it's over an hour from Philadelphia. Well, we made the trip on Sunday! We met up with some of my boyfriends family and it was a great afternoon! There were five is us. I enjoyed the Brownie Surprise stout and a can of the lemon shandy. Both were very good! My boyfriend got a flight and a beer after that although I forget which one. The shandies were a hit with the rest of our party. It's a great space! I think they just opened this location. From what I gather they usually have a food truck too. The food was great from the one that was there the day we went!We will definitely be going back!“
“Triple Sun Spirits Co. is a great little distillery located in the same building as Funk Brewing. Great cocktails at reasonable prices, a to go fridge filled with premade cocktails (and jello shots) for those on the move, and plenty of seating and space for large parties. The bartender that served our party was friendly, informative, and most importantly made some great drinks for us. You can purchase bottles of their distilled spirits though I will say they sell 375ml for $35 a pop which is quite a lot of cash for not a lot of liquid. But it's a small operation and they've gotta live so I'm always going to be down supporting a worthy small business. All in all, Triple Sun is a great stop on its own or as part of a crawl through the area including Funk, Yergeys, and Switchback Pizza (<def go here for dinner.)“
“Rarely have I left a dining experience and had absolutely nothing but good things to say about it but, for sure, The Spot left a GREAT impression! We went today with a large group and ordered ahead. Food was hot and fresh. The portions were worth every penny. Ice cream was delicious. The staff was so friendly and amazingly knowledgeable, even listing all of the ice cream flavors and toppings right off the top of their heads! Will be back for sure, thank you so much for a great lunch!!!“
“Nice place with coffee shop vibe.Croissants sold out by 11am, so couldn't try one.Chai latte was delicious. Friend thought chai latte tasted like hot chocolate, so she got hot chocolate lol.She also had black cherry A-Treat.Spinach quiche was delicious. Friend loved ham quiche.Chocolate croissant was pretty good, not warmed enough.“
“In a time where people are trying to make over the top recipes. It is refreshing to see a place that uses simple ingredients to make high quality dishes. Amazing brisket, pork ribs, mac and cheese (not overly cheesy). I highly recommend this place.“
“Yocco's Hot Dog King is a 100+ year old cultural phenomenon in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, where frankfurters are truly snack royalty. There are a half dozen of these small fast food outlets by this name (as well as several other franchises and independent dog houses) around these parts. Our reason for stopping- a need for a break after a long drive home from Niagara Falls. Although still 75 minutes away, we like Yocco's individually handgrilled sausages from past visits, and our hunger after 6 hours on the road had us looking forward to the break and even fantasizing about that first bite and snap.We ordered a dozen of their classics, grilled and rolled with mustard, onion bits and a thin smear of their unique savory chili. Each was wrapped in white paper and boxed in plain cardboard. We also grabbed a large size crinklecut fries. We were really hungry, and quickly wolfed down those crisp babies as we drove south again toward Quakertown and then onto Route 313 all the way to Newtown. Sorry. No pics, as that Yelp courtesy was forgotten by our yowling bellies. We scarfed down two hots dogs apiece in the car, saving the final two for our kitchen table. While I wouldn't have them as a regular part of my diet, these Yoccos really hit the spot. No apologies. There will be a next time, and we will also try their pierogi as a side for the King of Hot Dogs.“
“We visit here often and never have complaints! For sports, gatherings, meetups or just a night with the fam, Rita's is our go-to.I decided to finally leave a review though because of one reason: I can't have sugar. This season there's been only one 'no sugar added' flavor and it's dragon fruit, which is great! But it does get a little boring with how much we go here. This isn't a complaint, the location and staff are always 5-star. But I really wish more sugar free and NSA options would become normal at places like this.“
“My boyfriend & I stopped in for my birthday earlier tonight and had a beautiful meal! The decision was spontaneous so we didn’t know we needed a reservation but thankfully got the only table left! The hush puppies were to die for! We both got the Cuban and it was excellent. The brussel sprouts were unique but incredibly tasty. As a bartender, their craft cocktails were incredibly impressive and delicious! Our waitress was friendly and catered to all of our needs. Thank you for accommodating us on my birthday and we look forward to coming back again soon!Dietary restrictions: Menu notated vegan & GF options“
“We recently booked Sage Alley for a private party for a group of about 30. Steven was excellent to work with on the details and very accommodating to all my requests. The food was outstanding - could not have asked for better! The service was excellent - the server paid careful attention to our needs - kept our drinks filled and the tables cleared. I would definitely recommend this facility for a private party with a casual, relaxed atmosphere. The front lawn area is an added bonus with comfy chairs and a cornhole game to use when weather permits. My husband and I also ate at the bar on another occasion and here again the food was great - the burger was cooked just right, my chicken sandwich was very tender, and their house made nacho chips were terrific! Would definitely recommended Sage Alley any time!“
“I had a glass of wine and pineapple habanero wings. These were so hot I was on fire! But very good.Only bad thing, my glass had lipstick on it. Gross. They gave me a clean glass and fresh wine and didn't charge for either glass.I would go back, prices are following inflation.“
“My wife and I stopped in. I forgot about there recent fire but they had our favorites. Fish and chips and bangers and mash. Both entrees were delicious and the whiskey was wonderful as well. They are definitely doing their best under the circumstances and food is still delicious.“
“Typical Friday night, smokey. We had a nice time with dinner and drinks. Music selection was awesome. Only complaint from the 8 of us was the bacon on the BLT was terrible. It was more like eating a pound of chewy beef jerky, not crispy bacon. Burgers and sandwiches were spot on delicious!“

“Went to watch the Michigan and Washington football game. Our server was great and checked on us often (we were sitting down in their lower dining room). Our food was great. GO BLUE!Vegetarian options: There are several options for vegetarians, and they can make changes to other item's so they work with your food needs.“
“The dining experience at the 1741 Terrace Room is just outstanding in every aspect; the courteous efficient staff, the great tasting food, and the beautiful dining room and atmosphere rounds out the total experience. If you want something special in dining, this is the place!“
“First time here..husbands been there a fewTimes before...the waitress was super nice, very efficient, got everything we orderedPerfect..had breakfast and came out hot..My only complaint was the hash brownsSmelled and tasted like they were madeWith old, rancid oilI would go back again though when we'reIn the area“
“Small quaint place with great service. I always look for spots with cold sesame noodles ( here they call them cold Szechuan noodles) definitely awesome. I paired it with the General Tso's lunch special which I thought was good. Nice experience. Ps. Parking not ideal, but typical for a "city". :)“
“We tried Blockers on our way to Thanksgiving with family. My wife ordered a cappuccino w/ oat milk and I ordered a London fog w/ oat milk. Both drinks were made with regular milk, which isn't the end of the world, but we both prefer the flavor of oat milk over regular milk. The London fog was also made without steeping the tea before adding the milk, which makes for a much fainter tea flavor, and a much higher 'marshmallow' taste. It isn't a bad taste, just not the one I look for in a London fog. I also had a chocolate chip walnut cookie and it was tasty! All in all, I'd say give Blockers a shot when you're in the area; they just might be your cup of tea!“
