“A nice little pizza shop, I’m happy to have found today at work. They serve a crisp thin crust pizza that isn’t too heavy on the sauce or cheese, and therefore not overly greasy as well. (I know pizza is subjective but that’s exactly how I like it). I thought it was delicious and will likely try a sandwich next time. I’d love to see a chicken ceasar wrap on the menu someday, but there’s plenty of options there now. Very friendly people, and fair prices too. It appears to be take-out only, but there’s a few outdoor tables for nice weather. Ample parking, order from the kiosk inside, credit accepted/cash appreciated. Highly recommended.“
“Tried this place for the first time and was absolutely blown away. I picked up five pies today for my contractors, and I only went here because they suggested it and I am beyond pleased with the service and food. The guy I talked with at the store named Chris I think he might be the owner, was a great guy and even hooked my contractors up with free cookies! Really appreciate it Chris! The pizzas were fresh and hot being finished as I walked in! We will keep coming back! 15/10 amazing!“
“Small businesses go through tons of learnings. Chains and larger operations head into the opening with everything well-funded and meticulously mapped out. But for someone like Nick, he really took his highly demanded craft + product and just went for it. He’s avidly making things better as he goes from an operations perspective. One thing that hasn’t needed fixing is having the BEST pizza and cheesesteaks in the entire state of Delaware. My husband is from NJ and family in NY, where pizza and bagels are not even comparable in the slightest to what people in DE experience. For years we have been starved of seriously good pizza/cheesesteaks here. And not anymore because Nick truly has the best. Unfortunately, *actually* good pizza takes time. It takes quality ingredients. It takes a hell of a lot more labor. Prices, wait time, and the operation itself reflects that as it should. We are lucky to have this quality come to Delaware. Call an hour before you’re ready for it, order as much as you can afford because you’re going to stuff your face, and be pleasantly surprised. 15/10!“
“Wow, the best cheese steak, mounds of steak, cooper sharp cheese and fried onions on choice of regular or seeded rolls. Seeded was a sourdough (but not too sour) made specially for them by Corropolese Italian bakery, amazing! Anna made us feel welcome as we walked in the door, top-notch customer service by all, thank you “
“This was my first visit here instead of taking the ride north I decided to support local customer service was good I ordered a cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak the rolls where fresh and soft just like I wanted them to be the wait wasn’t long the food came up quick I wasn’t disappointed and neither will you! Would I come here again? YES“
“Been here several times, and it's always a hit. They tend to sell out by late afternoon and early evening on some days, especially weekends. It's got the vibe of a takeout pizza joint, which is pretty normal. The steaks however are as gourmet as they come -- the bread alone is magnificent.Honestly, two people can usually split one cheesesteak and have enough food. They're expensive, but enormous, so splitting is what we do and it's plenty.“
“A great and tenured place to grab sandwiches quickly! The prices are in line with most sub shops and you're likely to get a sandwich you enjoy here. Like any place, if you're ordering around standard mealtimes or shortly before a Phillies or Eagles game you may want to give them some extra time to put your order together. It'll be worth the wait!“
“Since finding out about this place (somewhere around 2 months ago), my boyfriend and I have been ordering from them almost every night. The food is awesome and the staff actually read what customers say in the little request box! These people have granted my every wish, even some strange ones, and prepared everything I've ordered PERFECTLY! U GUYS ARE AWESOME!! So nice to see someone come into the neighborhood making great food again... And NOT overcharging for it!! Keep up the great work over there!! 5++ stars from this customer!!“
“NGL I am glad I found this place. It's like Wawa but owned by Bevan (mom & pop establishment). He has really inexpensive food tbh. If you are on a budget you can absolutely get outta here with spending under $10.The pictures don't do this place justice. Sure we all appreciate good ambience and décor but if it cuts into the basics then it's not worth it imoI'd say this establishment is a cross between a Wawa (without gas) or a Bodega that specialises in lunchtime & dinner foods. Don't get me wrong he has breakfast but since he doesn't open until 9am it kinda sucks. Unless you work laterThe Large Egg hoagies were decent. Between ordering the omelette, the sausage and just plain egg each person was fairly satisfied with the inexpensive breakfast they didn't have to cook as one person put it. ?I do think that he should offer at least a bit of seasoning like salt and pepper if you wanted but that's just me.Adding a drink can absolutely raise the price very quickly. But with the choices of drinks he has there it's hard not to be tempted (at least for me and another person I was with)I told him he should have prices more available for drinks and such. This way we can make an educated pick on if I want whatever drink is available. Trust me, there are a bunch of options.I cannot express enough how much I think you should at least give a single visit to his place. I really do think he could find a good niche and be super successful. Not that he isn't considering he's been doing this I think he said 20-30 years?I plan on coming back and trying lunch and might try one of those colada or tropical drinks. Best part, the drink will be ice cold I do want to mention, you can call your order in. So you might be able to negotiate with him and add stuff like mushrooms to your hoagies or breakfast sandwiches. I do think he's absolutely an approachable owner. Give him a try!Vegetarian options: I would like to say he has options but I am sure most Vegetarians would not like his no-fill approach to the meals he offers. But it is what it is.Dietary restrictions: Does not come through as available but the owner is absolutely there so just ask. He's a decent guy so you might be surprised. He took my advice, so I would think he's open to helping you out.Parking: Parking might be a little harder if you come during the rushes like lunchtime or dinnerKid-friendliness: I would say he has options for kids, snacks and toys. Yes I said toys lolWheelchair accessibility: Direct front door access is impossible, unless you find the ramps and then roll on the walkway to the front door. Otherwise there are steps in the way (which is not their fault, it's the design of the plaza)“
“I love their food!!! It has always been well prepared with good seasoning. I don't live in wilmington anymore, but when I come back to visit, I make it a point to place my order when in town, their Chicken Gyro is The BEST!!!!SO GOOD ?? ?“
“The owners are the nicest couple and the remembered me, even tho it's been at least 10 years since I last visited. We talked for almost a half hour and it's hard to believe but we realized I first met them almost 40 years ago, when they first opened...Great people !!“
“One of my go-to delivery restaurants. Wide selection on the menu, food is great, delivery is fast, customer service is on point. You can order online directly from the restaurant (rather than a third party like Doordash) which I appreciate. The sandwiches are my favorite, decent pizza too.“
“My husband and I are very happy to have Casapulla’s back open in Hockessin. He had his first sandwich they’re on their soft opening and I had some ladies for lunch today. I went in yesterday ordered what I wanted and to ask them when I could have it ready. They said anytime I want it after they open tomorr. Everything has worked out perfectly. All the subs all the fixings everything is exactly what I ordered. Very happy with the customer service. They are all very young, very conscientious and very pleasant. You can tell they are training but they’re doing a great job. I’m thinking maybe my husband and I should buy some stock! I’m sure we’re gonna be there often. Again, welcome back to Hockessin Casapulla’s. My suggest is support our locally owned businesses.“
“I have been eating at Crossroads since 1971. Newer owners do a great job carrying on tradition. The young ladies at rear take out do a superb job with orders! Of course, the fish on the wall and cozy environment makes the dining experience. Only suggestion is less char on the yummy cheeseburgers.“
“I ordered a buffalo chicken cheese steak they used regular hot sauce in which I didn't care for but it was still decent and ordered a ham and cheese in which it was nasty. I was a little upset because I'm pregnant and they refused for me to use the bathroom. I guess I can't complain too much about it I guess. I will definitely try other types of cheese steaks“
“We go to Gallucios for take out, mainly pizza. I feel over the years the quality has changed some, or maybe they are just easier on the cheese. We have asked for well done crusts and often the crust comes out flimsy or doughy still, so in the future I'll ask for extra well done. Still good pizza over all.Parking: Every time I have gone, there has been free street parking available, but during a busy bar night it could be challenging“
“Tried out the gluten free pizza crust tonight. I think it may even be the same crust that seasons uses ?I would suggest asking for the cheese and sauce as close to the edge as possible. In hindsight I would probably request extra sauce too. For me it would taste a bit better with less “crust” unless you have a dipping sauce ?Service was great (thank you Julie!!) and I enjoyed my entire experience.“
“Customer service 101 - put the customer on the phone on hold and check out the the 3 customers at the counter especially when 2 of them have hot sandwiches. Prices have gone up. $5 is still good for fresh made scrapple, egg and cheese. Toast was soaky“
“The best pizza around. I personally like thin crust pizza and Patelmos is great! Good toppings, and good service! I usually buy a medium pizza and bring it home. Because I’m usually the only one in the house that’s eating it, It lasts a few days.“
“I have always had a wonderful experience at this establishment. The food is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and the service is impeccable. This is my favorite place to get a cheese steak, and my children love it as well. The cheeseburgers are also delicious.I am a big fan of their soups, and they always have a variety of options to choose from. The last few times I have been there, I have enjoyed the crab soup and the Italian wedding soup.I look forward to my next visit to Delco Steaks. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience.“
