“This is hands down my favorite ice cream shop in the area. Who puts chiles on ice cream? I do now! The corn ice cream is my favorite, but there are so many other unique offerings to choose from. It's definitely a good place to take visitors.“
“I wasn't going to post a review, but today I had another bad experience. About a month ago I waited over 25mins for 3 waterices & a funnel cake. I noticed on my receipt I was charged for an extra waterice. The cashier fixed it & apologized, but when I got the funnel cake it was hard as a rock so I returned it to the window. The teenager at the window told me he couldn't refund me & that he had to wait for his boss to get back. I was on my lunch break so I didn't have time to wait for another. So I sternly & kindly told him "that's not how business works sweetheart. This is no fault of my own. I need my money back please." He hesitantly gave it back. When I went today, there was a customer waiting for her order. Once she got it, the worker walked away while myself & another person waited in line. I waited for 2-3mins and left. I love that there's teenagers working there. Keeping the kids busy during the summer. However, the customer service just isn't good. They're kind but they don't seem to know what they're doing. Otherwise the waterice is delicious! Variety of flavors to choose from. Despite my experiences, I do recommend Dinos!“

“If you have a sweet tooth, this is your top spot in West Chester. All your treats from from caramel apples to chocolate creams and everything in between. Great holiday elections, including Santas and driedels. Very friendly staff, and a vibrant and inviting environment. I could've dropped a few hundred dollars. “We had a great Saturday morning breakfast at Piccola Venezia. Seating was good, with multiple spacious options available on both sides of the restaurant. We enjoyed savory crepes -- one with custom ingredients then other from the menu -- but also considered the extensive sandwich selection that is available for breakfast. “Ironically, I just read another review that echoed my own frustration at this Rita’s. A few weeks ago, I brought my daughter’s softball team for a postgame treat and was shocked to learn that an option to tip with a credit card doesn’t exist. “Delightful premises and delicious ice cream. OMG, the Vanilla Salted Caramel was to die for. The waffle cone was so crunchy and flavorful. Loved the setting with benches and tables scattered under a giant beautiful tree and cows on the hillside. Some crazy flavor options too... such as, Pumpkin Mushroom and Motor Oil! Wish I could have tried them all.“

“This place is constantly busy, as it should be. I originally picked up a freeze pop from a smaller Hispanic grocery store and when I saw it was locally made, had to visit. I ordered the strawberry one and its milk, cream, and large pieces of frozen strawberries. Nothing added but natural ingredients. The brain freeze from those berries was delightful as is the ice cream. Looking forward to trying what else they have!“

“Combined a scoop of edible chocolate chip cookie dough with scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was Sunday at 5ish and very quiet in town so we sat on the bench outside of Cookie Dope and ate our treats. Cost $15 for the two of us to grab dessert there. Several choices of cookie doughs to select from in order for it to be bit different than other ice-cream places. The cookie dough made the cost worth it to try something new tonight. The young woman working today was super kind.“

“Our timing on Saturday could not have been better with Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard closing after Sunday for the season ? I got my traditional blue raspberry with custard and the wife got her root beer with custard. They were delicious! “If Rita’s is looking for someone to show/train other Rita’s how it’s done this Rita’s is it. Chris(manager) is amazing. If you have a flavor that’s not on the list, he’ll make it. If it’s not in stock, he’ll go get it from another Rita’s, even if you tell him not to worry about it. The online list of flavors is on the website faithfully everyday which is nice because I don’t have to call and bug them. “This location is THE BEST place to go for Rita's. The servers are polite, quick, and respectful. I have been to a few other Rita's locations, and will NEVER go back there. “Listen! I’ve been going to this Rita’s since 1997. At the tender age of 10, having spent my life growing up in Colorado where water ice isn’t a thing.....It was THE first place I ever tasted this magical creation.Today I called looking for banana water ice. The very nice woman on the phone said she didn’t have any BUT she would make it for me within the hour! I mean talk about customer service! I was flabbergasted I knew this place was awesome since I was a kid having spent many a summer night sitting on the bench with my dad but to add to the nostalgia the customer service is out of this world I cannot recommend this establishment anymore to anyone it is hands-down the best Rita’s in the state of Delaware!!!!I look forward to bringing my children and someday grandchildren to share a memory and sweet treat on the same benches with such gracious folks!“

The prices are a little high for the burgers in my opinion, but everything else is great portions for the price. My favorites are the smash burger salad and the turkey and avocado BLT sandwich. “Not a fast food joint! Kids LOVE this place!! They sell hand made burgers, signature fries, "custard" (just like ice cream), chicken fingers, dogs, etc. The "Freddy sauce" or "fry sauce" is excellent. Think sorta like a mix of ketchup, mustard, mayo, and relish done right. The chicken is ACTUAL CHICKEN, and not a pressed grissle patty like most places nowadays. The burgers are awesome, Double California burger is my go to.Parking: **NOTE** This is one of those locations where if you are heading N on 202, you CANNOT MAKE A LEFT OUT OF THE PARKING LOT. “I visit here just about daily, as I have to walk a few miles for exercise, and to reward myself, I stop here for a treat. The store is clean, with indoor and outdoor seating, the advertised flavors are always available, and the most important thing, the young people serving me are attentive, courteous and friendly. (I also had a nice chat with the manager, an entertaining fellow who is doing a great job running things.) So my experience has been excellent, and has motivated me to continue my exercise routine.
