“I stopped for dinner while riding across PA during Crush the Commonwealth. What a surprise to find in Chambersburg! Some of the best pita/hummus/falafel sandwiches I’ve ever had. Service excellent, the owner incredibly gracious. I wish I had known about this place sooner. When people start plotting next year’s ride, I’m telling them to bypass Rutters/Sheetz/Royal Farms and get some delicious real food!“

“A first time visitor on a Friday evening (01/19/24), here is my take on the experience: they were busy, but extremely welcoming, and in no way did it feel like it was intimidating to await a table. A very kind hostess greeted us, and helped to steer us to a table. The food portions are like what a family meal is about, and the home-made spaghetti sauce was excellent. In today's busy, short-attention-span world of mindless, TikTok'ed idiot experiences, this first visit was like experiencing something as it should be. We would tell there were regulars there as well as maybe 'non-frequent' customers, and that sense of community was just amazingly comfortable. It's kind of hard to even describe other than a quick 'Mayberry meets practical with awesomeness' impression, which to me, means a lot. Too many moments anymore of rushed/processed interactions that occur with customer service in so many areas, but this visit was just as it should be: comfortable, great people, great atmosphere, great food, a very kind server, a manager who even checked with us at one point; it was like I was able to not have to think about the insanity of the rest of the world for a little while, and just enjoy a meal in a comfortable setting. How often can one say that they were really comfortable at a food service? It's little things like that that really add up to making us wanting to make this place a regular go-to, and that is much appreciated. Online reviews may be across the board in pertinent context to the reader, but for this reviewer, this restaurant hit the mark on all points of value.“

“My husband and I have been a few times, and this past time we had the pleasure of our cook being Jacob. He came out as a break, and we expressed how great the food was and how flavorful it is and every single thing on the menu literally is fantastic especially the French onion soup with the beef tenderloin, and my husband had the duck on the appetizers which he says was fantastic and for entrées I've had the crabcakes And my husband has had the scallops again. Everything hears fantastic. The service is great but I would recommend a reservation, but this is our favorite restaurant in Waynesboro or Chambersburg. He was so kind as to thank us for being there he gave us a quart of free chili, and that again fantastic!! Thank you, and we will be regulars lol but serious!!! I wish I had photos to add, but it really doesn't matter because it would not even do it justice. You have to try the food, and I have read one of the reviews where it said the food was bland, and that they would not be back which is outrageous and I think just maybe they were, having a bad day because the food here is like I said wonderful & is VERY flavorful!!!“

“I ordered carry-out from here a couple days ago for the first time. Got the aji de gallina, my go-to order at any Peruvian restaurant. It was SO salty. Like all I could taste was salt. I was like “okay, that obviously isn’t right. Maybe I just ordered on a bad day”. So I just ordered again today. I got the arroz chaufa with shrimp. Now that was tasty, and look at the huge portion! I have enough leftover for another meal, maybe two! I’m glad I gave this place another shot. I’ll definitely try the aji de gallina again later, maybe next week“

“Well I gotta tell ya, we started out a little shaky with a long wait, but more than made up for it with the food. The young lady that was out front was doing her best to keep up with the register and ordering, the kitchen was slowing things down. When it was all said and done though, the food was well worth the wait. Great flavor and the quantity was off the hook. I can put away some food, but I was struggling to finish the large California Burrito. My wife got the steak Quesadilla and had to save half for later. And the Flan was to die for. I only ordered 1, but she gave us 2. I can only assume to make up for the wait. We will eat there again and I may try the Tacos with cow's head. I had to ask what that was, because the menu just says "head."“

“Excellent Mexican food! Reminded me of some of the local Mexican restaurant's in San Diego.Update - Just went back after two years since I'm not from the area. The place was packed and the food was really fresh and very good. I've included a photo of my pork carnitas which were exceptional. Really reminds me of the outstanding Mexican food found in SoCal!“

“This place was recommended by the Hampton Inn and did not disappoint. It was byob, which was great, since we had a wonderful bottle in our car. The server was very gracious and the food was delicious. We would definitely stop here again in our travels.“

“You generally wouldn't expect to find the best sushi spot ever in Chambersburg, PA, but this was definitely the best sushi/sashimi we've had. Large, outstanding portions, very friendly staff and a very clean environment. Truly a home run.“

“I was very happy when we order our food I don't have to weight hour to get it. It was good and hot. Some time I was there the food was burnt like the green pepper tomato steak. I told the person they made other one for me. It was done right. The rest of our party was all done eating. This was upset for me.Wheelchair accessibility: It's nice with my bad legs cellulitis and blood clots in my leg was off my leg s 4 years now I can go out too eat.its nice to find a parking spot yes I do have a sign that I can park there.“

“If you like/love Mexican food, you will not be disappointed. I’ve eaten here twice in 3 days. First I had the Birria Tacos and then I had the Alambre and Barbacoa Tocos. That green sauce is spot on and has a nice little kick. I will be going back a couple more times before leaving!Parking: The free parking is down the road at the near by plaza but it’s not far at all. There is also metered parking on the street.“

“Aki is always amazing! We never do the hibachi grill. We just sit down at a table. Food is always amazing. Service is great. Was a little slammed last time, and I think we waited close to an hour to get seated. Other than long wait times, aki is the best hibachi place around.“

“The main takeaway here needs to be food, and frankly it's where go for pizza and subs more than anywhere else in Chambersburg. They get hopping pretty regularly, and everyone behind the counter always looks up and says hello with positive energy and pure gratitude.UPDATE 3/21/24 - Went in for the first time in a while and they completely overhauled the inside. It's fantastic. Great job guys!“

“Excellent food, awesome drinks, service was fabulous and a relaxing ambience. I haven't been to the orchards since 2019 and so many things have changed for the better. We ate in the bar area and even though the bartender was swamped, he was attentive and very personable. We definitely will be back.“
“We stopped in on a Saturday evening for live music. There was a pretty decent crowd when we arrived but we didn’t wait long to order food or drink. It’s seat-yourself so you order at the bar then go find a seat. If you order food too they will give you a table number and come find you. We tried a couple IPAs and two ales. The beer was good. We ordered a chicken bite special and shrimp tacos. I didn’t realize until we were half done eating the chicken that it wasn’t the special, but the regular menu item. It was loud when we ordered, the cashier probably just misheard what version we wanted. Not a big deal. It was still good. The tacos were ok. They were a bit skimpy on the shrimp and I’m judging that based on what ours looked like versus another tray we saw the server carrying. We ate them anyway. The band was very good. They were set up in the back of the building in the listening room area. The atmosphere was upbeat and casual. I’d go again to see another band sometime.“

“It’s probably been twenty years since I have stepped foot in this restaurant, thought we’d give it a whirl for takeout. I wish I had time to sit; this would be the perfect kind of diner place to write, or do some paperwork. Plenty of tables, and you could be left alone with your coffee or tea if you chose-but, I don’t have the time for that- I’ll put that on the bucket list. In the meantime, the order was nicely taken over the phone and ready when I got there. I was picking up for some else-order chicken tenders and fries - metered parking right out on the street and a lot literally across the street. Plenty of seating available, nice solid diner type menu chicken tender basket included 3 tenders.“

“Typically we come here frequently on Mondays. This time when we visited service was quick but the waiter was inexperienced or did not care about his job. We were given no napkins with our food. Overall they were a little busy but Napkins are something that all customers need. The food was excellent but the service was worse than expected and left much to be desired.“

“Great steak teriyaki and fried noodles and orange chicken and white rice. This is the type of restaurant if you like eating hot fresh right away and don't have room for leftovers later. Doesn't taste the best left over but aten immediately.“

“Food, service and ambiance is always good here. The portion sizes are good and well priced. Food is made to order, so you can ask to add or delete some preparations (like oil, corn starch, etc.) if you need to. Good crowds on most days for lunch, especially on Sundays after church when the regulars come in. Nice owners and staff. I highly recommend this establishment. I've been coming here whenever in the area for about 3 years. It has been consitently good.“
