“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable“

“Wonderful little Thai place. On route to Canada. Just off I95. Stopped in about 1 1/2 hr before closing and was greeted with a smile. The 2 servers were super friendly and very attentive. Ordered delicious spring rolls and California rolls. Very generous portions.We also ordered 3 pho soup bowls. M3, m4, m5. All fantastic, also added extra veggies on soup. Lots of meat in soups and served with large plate of fresh bean sprouts, fresh basil, lime and hot peppers.Everything was excellent!!!! 3 ppl, less than $60.“

I've never had a restaurant consistently exceed my expectations every single time I've eaten here.The appetizers are amazing. The fried rice, the noodles, and the meat are all amazing. The dessert is perfect, not sickeningly sweet. The Thai Iced Tea is a must-have, as are the Crab Rangoons and the Pork appetizer special when they have it. The Crying Tiger Steak is amazing. “We really like this place for its German food and atmosphere. It brings us flashbacks to gaust houses in Germany. Check out the photos. The food is delicious as is the beer they have on tap. Finally, the service is excellent. If you are looking for that German place, this is it. It is hard to find a good German dining experience.“

“So I decided to try out Little Alex's pizzeria, I ordered the Cuban panini for me and the cheesesteak for my fiancée.•My fiancée loved the cheesesteak, he had nothing bad to say about it! It was filled perfectly, no parts of the subs left without steak or cheese! He got his with fried onions, steak, American cheese and mayo only! You do have the option to have extras added but my fiancée likes his pretty simple.•I loved the Cuban panini! The portion was great for the price! It came with fries which are hand cut and fried fresh and they were salted perfectly. The Cuban was made with great quality ham, not the cheap ham that other restaurants in Hagerstown use on their Cubans (sorry not sorry) I got mine with the pickles on the side and no mustard! I really really wish they had a garlic mojito to dip it in or maybe garlic aoli to put on the actual sandwich!! It would really really elevate it and take the already delicious panini go the next level!• My fiancée and I also both agreed that they use pretty fresh ingredients so nothing we ate made us feel sick, sluggish or left us with our tummy's hurting! “I wanted to give a review of my recent visit to Aleko’s. I don’t get there often, but have been going there for more than 10 years. The food has always been great. I did look at the other reviews before I went just out of curiosity.Called my order in and picked it up. Opened it up to munch on the fries on the way home. Realized I had a small cup of dressing for a large Greek salad and not much tzatziki sauce on the gyro. The meat was also well-done, not burnt.Went back to the restaurant and shared my concerns. They were very happy to fix all deficiencies and shared some suggestions to avoid misunderstandings. Very good advice.- Let them know how you want the meat cooked, well-done, barely warm or somewhere in between. We all have different tastes; we have no problem telling an order taker how we want our steaks cooked.- Check your order before you leave for completeness. We are all human and occasionally make mistakes.Reading over the other reviews I read some people complained the gyros weren’t even made correctly. You couldn’t pick it up to eat.We have so many different ethnic foods available to us and we say we like them, but we need to be honest, we do tend to “Americanize” them sometimes. The “in” thing now are bowl meals. Maybe Aleko’s is trying to get in on that too by the way they assemble the gyros. If you want it done ‘traditionally’ make sure they know that, order it that way.I will continue to support Aleko’s, I love their food. I have no problem giving specifics as to the way I want my food. “We had reservations at 6:30. We were seated and placed our order. The teppanyaki chef came at 7:15. Two tables that sat down after us were served their food while we waited. This put a bad taste in my mouth from the beginning. The food was alright. The service was good even though the teppanyaki chef knew that we were upset from being forgotten about for so long. The drink service was not as good. I had to ask to order a beverage and later ask for water. I wasn't offered another beverage the whole time I was there. We got our checks around 8:00. This might be one of the better places to eat or in Hagerstown, but unfortunately, the bar is set so low.“

“Been coming here for over a decade. Possibly the best Sushi in Hagerstown. Can’t beat their lunch specials on sushi-rolls. Our favorites include spicy tuna, California, and asparagus/avocado, definitely try the Haru roll (tempura fried.) The peanut sauce on their salad is delicious, we also like their spicy mayo drizzle on our sushi (we opt out of fish eggs.) One star off for atmosphere due to their hibachi area being closed off and filled with boxes.“

“We have stopped at this BJ's several times when traveling north. Great restaurant/sports bar with always a great staff and good food. On par with other BJ's we've stopped at while traveling. My go to is dry rub wings (also tried the Tetanka BBQ which were tasty and spicy)and fries. Food was spot on. A large selection of draft beers, several are BJ's own ( recommend the Jeremiah Red and Tetanka Stout). My wife had soup (chicken tortilla) and salad (Caesar) and both were very good. Our server Gordon S was very efficient, had a great personality and was very attentive. Got a pizookie (salted caramel) to go...so good. Very good experience“

“Myself, and my housemate have been attending for over a year, 1-3 times a week (at the minimum). Each and every time, they greet us, remember our consistent orders, and the atmosphere they create is amazing. From the cleanliness to the staff always checking in and up on us and everyone around us, this is a 5 star establishment. No one I know, nor myself, have ever had a complaint about the food or quality of dish cleanliness, rude staff, etc.I could not recommend this restaurant any more highly to anyone who wants good cuisine or a consistent experience. “My husband and I came in one morning around 1 after a rough day. We were starving and thought of Denny's immediately (we love their burgers and chicken tenders and get their food delivered regularly). We had the pleasure of being served by a young man named Paul. He was the greeter, server and seemed to be running the place alone that night. He was incredibly personable, made sure our food was made just as we asked for, and would shout encouraging and positive words to the kitchen staff. “Really good food I think I got some chili and then some loaded tater tots and I can't remember how much it was but well the bowl of chili was like 6 bucks and then that was like 11 bucks so like 20 bucks but I had to take half for almost three quarters of the tater tots home because I can't eat much for one thing but it kind of sucks when you have is bad as nerves of as I do I mean I can literally eat five or six bites all out of something and then I'm full I don't care if I didn't eat for the past 2 days if I just eat a couple of chips or something I'm full I have to like almost starve myself for 3 days or more to actually eat like everybody else does so I don't know they say it's mental but I am not sure about that anymore“

Salina had recommended to try the Friday's Classic Combo, and it did not disappoint. The whiskey glaze is so delicious. The kitchen also did a great job. Our appetizer came first (as it should), and then all of our food came out at one time. I didn't feel rushed to scarf down my appetizer in order to eat my meal hot. We didn't wait very long at all for our meals either. The overall experience was awesome. If you are going to dine in, I highly recommend that you ask for Salina to be your server. She was amazing. 10/10 recommend. My family and I will definitely be returning and asking to sit with Salina; and I highly recommend that you do the same.
