“Food is great, prices are lowest around . Service is good not the greatest, not rude just slow..only 2 very elderly women servers in morning. Little slow greeting table then they seem to forget they did..other than that very nice place to eat..I do go there a couple times a week“
“Im from Las Cruces New Mexico and I am a truck driver with Prime. I delievered a load of lumber to Us lumber here in claysburg and was against my 70 hour clock so i decided to do a 34 hour reset here in Claysburg. Olde Thyme pizza and subs is now one of my favorite little honey holes ive discovered in this great nation. They have an extensive menu and a small charm to their restaurant. It was nice and clean and a relaxxing atmosphere and the food was great.“
“First time at Traditions. Was the very best. Food is outstanding. Service was the best I've had in quite a while. Very friendly atmosphere, quaint. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. If you haven't been here, you need to go. You will not be disappointed.“
“Such a great, local place for breakfast, lunch, or just really good coffee. Their food is freshly made (and the bread is incredible, especially the English muffin bread), and the people working there couldn't possibly be nicer. I also have no idea where they get their decaf roast, but it's so, so good. And I hate decaf! This is our favorite hometown eatery, and we come as often as we can.Parking: Parking can be hard to find in the main road, so definitely check out the side-streets! Bring quarters for the meter!Kid-friendliness: Love bringing our daughter here on school breaks and weekends, she likes this place as much as we do and she's 10.“
“This place was a great addition to our Hollidaysburg pub tour. We had a really nice server, and a joyful evening. The prices were good. Beer selection was average for this area. we may go back in the future.Parking: It was GREAT and plentiful.“
“You know you’re getting GREAT food when you see that red and white checkered paper! It’s been a few years since I last ate at Spring House Grille in Roaring Spring, PA, so I decided to pay a visit today. I am SO glad I did! Especially since they went from making decent food to making Excellent food that filled me right up!The meal I had today was the 4 piece fried chicken with “steak” fries and green beans!Oh man! The meat was so tender and loaded with flavor, the steak fries were cooked to golden yellow perfection and the green beans were fresh, juicy, and surprisingly vibrant! I was quite impressed with both the aesthetic and quality! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating during our visit, and the atmosphere was very roomy, inviting and warm. I especially liked the aquarium in the middle of the dining room, the wood siding on one of the walls that made me feel like I was on a boat, and the rotating glass dessert table!Overall, Spring House Grille has REALLY stepped their game up since my last visit, and I DEFINITELY recommend it if you’re visiting the Roaring Spring area! The only negative thing I can say about it is they close at 4:00 pm. Otherwise, It’s a superb local eatery!“
“This is a little family restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Our waitress was so pleasant. She got our drinks and remembered my lemons for my water. My daughter and I both ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. Oh my gosh! It was delicious. Definitely home made. I ended up taking half home with me. We also got dessert to go. She got the apple dumpling and I got the carrot cake. They were spot on. Definitely worth stopping to check it out. You won't be disappointed.Parking: Didn't have any issues with finding a parking spot.“
“I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I had the chicken Parmesan and the crab rangoon pizza. The chicken Parmesan was very good and the chicken was nice and crispy. The pizza was good and the crust was crunchy and had a nice char. The pizza can get to be a little too much as there are a lot of competing flavors. I would recommend both dishes still.“
“Fantastic find, not planned. Great little, very old pub with really good food & vibe. Best of all, it still has a "spitton trough" at the base of the bar. Common in late 1800s, this is one of five still existent in the US. It's the only one with still functioning water flow, which the bartender demo'd.“
“Excellent food every time. I talk about this place daily. Love the fact that they have food specials that change daily. It is definitely worth the time to check out. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it is quite the gem. Always friendly and the food great.“
“I had the pleasure eating dinner there several times. There food is so delicious. The service is unbelievable and such a friendly atmosphere. I recommend this place to everyone.Dietary restrictions: I loveParking: They're are lots of parking spaces. It is free of charge.“
