“I stopped in here on a whim after passing this establishment many-a-times. Visited early afternoon on a Sunday. There were only a handful of patrons seated at the bar. This place is definitely a "local's bar" which got us legitimate head turns when we entered and were politely greeted by both staff and clientele. I am uncertain if this is always true, but no tap handles were connected to the tap system. Additionally we were not offered a food menu, so assuming that there is either no kitchen or was too early. Overall we were given a warm welcome and service was great. Again this is definitely a local's bar which would meet a "dive bar" specification, which is not a bad thing to me whatsoever.“

“We had a group 7 adults and an infant. The seating was in a side section that easily accommodated us. I didn’t get the host’s name who greeted us at the entrance, but he was very friendly. Cat was our waitress. She was very friendly and always smiled. She made sure we received our drinks and food in a very timely manner. The food was delicious and very well prepared. As we dined, Cat would check on us often to make sure we didn’t need anything. Prior to leaving, she asked if we needed anything else and then thanked us for coming. This is our second time visiting friends in the area, so we made sure to dine at the same Margaritas again. My family and I love this restaurant.Parking: Plenty of restaurant parking and a local business permits the use of their adjacent lot when needed.“

“We came here for dinner on a somewhat quiet Saturday evening. Luck was on our side as they had no problem getting us a table for four and we were sat quickly. Service was friendly and the menu was surprisingly deep. Overall, the food did not disappoint.We started with the French Onion soup - it is on point and if you like French Onion, I recommend it. I went with the meatloaf sandwich. It was good, but the BBQ sauce was a bit sweet for my liking. Still a creative and enjoyable sandwich. We also got a poke bowl, which was very fresh. I'd recommend getting the dressing on the side as that could overpower some of the aspects of the bowl, but no other modifications needed.I've heard this place can get busy and is a bit of a dive bar. Given its location, I am sure it can get busy so I would plan ahead if you want to eat. As for dive bar, not sure I'd call it that but if I did it would more bit a complement. I say give Berwyn Tavern a go if you are in the area.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here a couple years back, and recently returned for an anniversary dinner. Everything was as great as our first time, if not even better. The food is delicious, specifically the filet, asiago chicken, and meatloaf, I'm drooling just thinking about them! All 20+ people we initially brought raved about it and the service was tremendous. Not going to get a better meal for your money in the area. Can't wait to go back!“

Anyone can cook a really good high quality steak but it’s the restaurants that do the common foods well.I just wanted a plate of pulled pork and asked the kitchen to throw in all the toppings to make a nice hearty protein meal and they knocked it out of the park.The pork was tender and flavorful, the side of Au Jus was a perfect complement without being too salty, like most tend to be. The long hots were actually HOT!! Perfect temperate not to take away from taste of the pork.Side salad had a nice homemade blue cheese that made me crave some good Buffalo Wings to dip, hopefully next time.My son loves their homemade chicken strips and the fries have a fantastic spice (think rosemary) and great dipping sauce.Glad I live close, can’t wait to go back!!“

I can't justify an 80.00 20 oz bone in rib eye or market price crab cakes. There is a new chef and an updated menu, I just hope the chef doesn't price this place out of business.“

“I came in alittle upset bc I was having one of those days and got upset with the staff for asking for a id (aka her doing her job). She was calm collected and gave me excellent service. I am a store manager for a retail store so being verbally assaulted is a daily occurrence. No excuses but she took it well and stayed professional. A note to the owner would be to add a section on the credit card receipt for a tip. There is no way to tip unless its cash and I wanted to leave something but only had a card. Tapping the ATM isn't a solution. I would recommend this business. They have a large selection of liquor and beer.“
