“Today was my second visit here, after having finally stopped in a couple weeks ago. This place is nothing short of AWESOME! It's bright and happy, with wonderful colors and totally unique tabletops--created by the owners! They have done most everything themselves, a true accomplishment and a reason to be proud! The employees are unfailingly friendly and helpful! The owners have hired handicapped individuals, and today I was fortunate to see the owner teaching one such an employee a new skill, and she was so patient and very encouraging, helping this young woman to catch on quickly and feel good about herself. You don't see an employer working to build up employees that way very often. They have an amazing assortment of handmade ice cream, some flavors you'd expect and some you wouldn't. Truth be told, I've yet to try the ice cream, as both times I've been here, it's been morning and I was on a quest for coffee, but I sure do plan to get around to it! Now, the pastries. Ah, the PASTRIES! Beautiful huge cookies with a great variety, to start. And muffins and danish, and turnovers, oh my! On my first visit, I had a wonderful cherry danish, and this time I opted for a cranberry chocolate chip muffin that turned out to be nothing short of fabulous!! SO fabulous, in fact, that I got half a dozen to go, to share with friends this afternoon. (Although, truth be told, I'm making a good argument to myself to keep them all...!) I got a plain old coffee, although they also do a bunch of other coffee house-type specialty beverages for those who prefer those. The coffee was great, not horribly strong but with plenty of body and flavor. The coffee and muffin made my day. And today, I learned from talking to the owner that they have live bluegrass music on Fridays around 6pm. AND I found out that they also do pies, so, YAY! They're also incredibly accommodating, as she told me that with a few hours notice, they'll create pretty much any custom item you want! Doesn't get any better than that, right? Okay, those of you out there who have read my reviews before know that I can write good reviews for good places. This time, though, I'm going to add this: Cookie Cookie absolutely DESERVES your business! This is a business that gives back in a number of ways, and they deserve your support. Even if you live a bit out of the way, do make a point of coming here. I promise you'll enjoy whatever you get, and you'll be helping these folks to help others.“
“That is the best ice cream I have ever had in town! Antney's Ice Cream is undescribable!!!! They are killing it with flavor, friendly staff and their changing menu. My personal fav is Cookie Monster and Red Velvet. However whatever I tried in there did not dissappoint once! Everthing is so delicious and freshly made!! I can give them 10k stars if I could! They deserve it!! If you read this review this far, please go and try their ice cream, believe me you will not prefer any other place again.“
“Custards is my choice for local ice cream stand. They may not have the selection of other competitors but their prices are better and they are friendlier than most. The only drawback is that they are not open year round, but that makes sense given their business, and I can't fault them for that as I'm the odd one who wants ice cream on January 1st...:)“
“I ordered a chocolate chip cookie because I feel like you can judge a place by something classic like chocolate chip. The cookie was excellent and had a ton of chocolate chips throughout and on top. The cannoli cookie was great and came chilled. It had a cream filling that was sweet but not too sugary. The cookies were good but they are pricey. We spent $10 on two cookies. It's definitely a place to get a special treat but not an every day thing. They also had self service kiosks which I love!“
“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Pittsburgh area! It’s authentic and delicious. I’m from Texas and finding a spot like this is hard to find. Their tacos de tripitas are my favorite! I don’t think you can get tripitas anywhere in this area that I’m aware of. Highly recommend!“

“This ice cream shop is cash only .I've been going to that ice cream store since I was a child my dentist was down the street but after I seen the dentist my father would take me up there to get some ice cream to cheer me up they got some great fantastic food as well a milkshakes and they're not like McDonald's and you don't have to worry about the milkshake machine where there's going to be working or not laughing out loud I personally would tell you to go check it out if you're in that area I don't think you'll be a disappointed if you like ice cream and they have many other things to choose from. They're chili dogs are awesome as well they're very close to Page's ice cream store on East Carson Street Becks Run Road stop by today and try a treat for yourself or treat the whole family to a night out with ice cream I don't think you'll be a disappointed one last thing I like to point out this ice cream shop is strictly cash only if they are very busy bring a little bit of patience with you they'll do their best to serve you they are very nice people the staff is always there they want to make sure you're happy when you walk away from that window they can't help the prices went up on things everything is going up. And I do believe most things are price and reasonable but when you want good quality like you said you'll pay for what you want If you want cheap ice cream then go to your local grocery store you want good ice cream then you're going to pay for it. Remember support your local business especially the small Mom's and Pops restaurants like this one, and your local stores without them this country was founded on Mom's and Pop's stores when you needed something the store will give you a small credit in your local Mom's and Pop's stores. Recently got to enjoy the summer mermaid gelati special and it was both delicious and adorable with the sprinkles and bright blue tropical ice color. “The milkshakes we had were good and they made them quickly. The staff were polite. However, for the quality of the milkshakes, they are simply overpriced. We won't be coming back because we weren't blown away by what we had and we can get similar shakes from local ice cream shops that aren't part of a chain. I'm a big believer that if a chain can do it better, shop/eat/drink there but if they can't, don't. This is one chain I honestly don't see surviving at this price point.“
“Fall is in season at Bruster's! We had some of their fall flavors, Pumpkin Patch - which was pumpkin ice cream ( super creamy) with bits of soft Graham cracker & our other was deep apple pie! Oh my, it had chunks of fresh apple pie in it!! We also got one of our favorites for the freezer - cinnamon ice cream - goes perfect with Apple Pie!Always friendly fast service.“

“The ice cream quality and taste was very good. Location although on a busy road is a bit under the radar. Location is an order at the window style place. In a small plaza with other stores but no other major corporate draws I remember seeing. Bruster's is probably the best known business name in this shopping plaza area .They do a decent business from what I can tell. I'm sure there are busier times to stop but I haven't seen it super busy, at least the few times I've been here. I stopped here the last time with my mother who wanted a hot fudge sundae. I ordered a small waffle cone with 2 scoops of chocolate ice cream. The quantity was very good! Was a pretty large amount of ice cream for a small. I was glad I ordered this size. Mom's sundae was huge I thought! All in all a nice ice cream experience. ??“
“I grew up only liking the lemon flavor but recently i found out about the coffee ones and i absolutely recommend them to anybody, the cold brew one was delicious. wish there was more custard in it but other than that it deserves to stay instead of being limited time“
“Vintage look to this place. Great ice cream and a huge variety. Parking can be a little tough at times, but that's a rare occasion. Love the play area for the kids. Prices are reasonable as well. “This place is the best! Black Raspberry soft serve is amazing and my daughter got the Banana Split Freeze and she said it was better than from other local places she tried. If you are adventurous try getting the cookie dough freeze with black raspberry soft serve instead of vanilla. You won't be disappointed!“
“First trip to the Carnegie location of scoops! Great spot on Main Street and I love the inside! Some seating but not much. We got a single scoop- it's a huge serving of ice cream IMO. I got the moosetracks and my fiancé got the cannoli. Both were tasty but the waffle cones/bowl really were great.We went on a cold night so we thought it would be all but there was quite a line. There was one young girl working and you could tell she was overwhelmed. One guy in front of us was being a total jagoff but she handled him and the line like a pro!! We'll be back :)“
“Scoops is a five minute walk so I find myself there every once in a while. I usually get a milkshake, tip is to ask for extra thick, if I don't do this it turns out being almost a milk consistency. Workers are always really nice and let you try any flavor you want.“

“Since moving to Pittsburgh last year, I have missed Handels so much as we lived within 10 minutes of 3 of them in Youngstown. When I was browsing locations, I discovered one at McCandless Crossing. It took me 15 minutes before I arrived there! Absolutely the BEST ice cream in the country (and I have travelled through all 50 states trying to beat the taste of Handels to no avail). Chocolate Pecan is my favorite, but I have never been disappointed in any flavor they serve. Try them and you’ll never go anywhere else for ice cream.“

“We love this DQ. They do such a great job. They're super efficient and always super friendly. Getting the DQ App has been a game changer. It makes things so much easier. We use it to order at home and then roll up and it's always ready. They also have great specials in the app. We've had all kinds of sweet treats. We've had everything from ice cream cones dipped in cherry, chocolate and churro (my fave), milkshakes, sundaes, etc. all delicious.“
“My husband and I went to Bruster’s today, in the hopes of being able to have a gender reveal cake created quickly for us. Although the cake we wanted could have taken a day or two, Erinn saw how excited we were and was able to create a custom cake for us same day!! Erinn had our baby’s gender in a concealed envelope and did an amazing job at ensuring we never knew the gender until we cut the cake. The cake tasted amazing and was beautiful inside and out. We couldn’t be more pleased with choosing Bruster’s for our gender reveal!!!“
