I only had some breakfast items so I can't rate higher, but what I had was VERY good. Our server was very cordial and pleasant. I give the atmosphere high marks because they obviously put a lot of money into the interior of the restaurant. Very clean, more upscale than you expect from a diner. Very nice and very good selection of food. There HAS TO BE something there for everyone. Go, you will be happy you did.

Driven by here a bunch of times when driving between PA and VA. Stopped in on a Friday night. Place is quite large. Had the lamb special with two sides and soup. Loved it. Great diner menu with huge desserts.

Decided to head to Bakers for Easter brunch. Food is good, not excellent. Pricing is reasonable for the area. You typically get good portions of food for the price. It's one of those places that is good in a pinch and will satisfy you, but it's not a place that I routinely go to. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. You can wait for a table weekend mornings when it's busy, but typically can get seated pretty quickly otherwise. If I had one criticism, it's that I always get seated next to little children who inevitably act up. I wish they would utilize the entire restaurant area instead of cramming patrons into one section. Other than that, I'll continue to stop in here and there and get my sausage gravy over biscuit which is always a good choice. Disappointed in the home fries almost every time I go. Tell them to fry those things in butter for some flavor!!
