“Absolutely love Oishi! They are so incredibly friendly and sweet-especially to our kiddos! The food is delicious--my fave is the steak and shrimp combo. That yum yum sauce!”
“Stopped by on Sunday afternoon. Hubby had the wings(Cajun)and a side salad. I opted for the cheeseburger which hands down was homemade and the best burger I have had out in a long time. Cooked to perfection. We shared some onion rings. They were darn good. Shared a piece of coconut cream pie. The BEST!!! Our server was Betty A seasoned pro.So glad we stopped in. We will definitely go back and enjoy the entire river area.”
“Very nicely preserved and renovated property. Food was excellent and the staff and owners were very friendly!Since our original visit, we have returned numerous times and have never been disappointed.”
“Good food and reasonable prices. The bartender was waiting on the tables and did a great job at handling both.Parking: Street parking only. Never had any trouble finding a spot.”
“The food is tasty and the price is fair for the portions. The customer service is really awesome and the bathrooms are very clean. Their best dish is their large selection of cheeseburgers and melts. I got the Cheese Burger Melt.”
“Updated for MENU - their website doesn't work. Can't speak for others. We've gotten good experiences here for some time now.Notably, this is one of the Chinese places that knows how to change their oil out once in a while so everything doesn't taste like everything else.I would recommend take out. The dining room is cold in the winter. That said, plan ahead. There have been times where 20 minutes has turned into 40. It's a family owned business and there are times they are shorthanded.Parking: Have never seen the parking lot so full you couldn't find a space.”
“It's been the best place I've ever worked at and I've been working here for a year now love my boss and my coworkers and love the food but customers are pretty rude and don't care if u have alot on ur hands ? ? wish I could leave a review for them..”
“I love Riviera! Karaoke. The people. Always a great time!Wheelchair accessibility: I wish they had 2 handicap parking spots up front and a reserved spot for Rob carrying all that heavy equipment in.”
“i loved my double layer tacos & the pumpkin mouse was delishass!Dietary restrictions: they take time to answer questions in case you need to know about allergies!”
“Have eaten here many times. Food is always good and hot. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.Kid-friendliness: I had my grandson with me. He liked the TVs very much. There was a football game playing he was asking me questions about the teams and this made for a very enjoyable time for both of us.”
“As with all the businesses in Duncannon. They need more help and no one wants to work. The food is always good and hot. The people working were awesome but you can tell they are struggling. This is not there fault. this economy is dragging alot of good businesses down. We will be back for good pizza and cheese steak subs soon.Kid-friendliness: They love the kids. I had my grandson who is 8 with me. Then another family came in with at least 3 or 4 kids and a baby. They made it very easy for the fiky to order and go into another room where they would have some privacy. It is nice to see some restaurants truly care about there customers.”
“I had dinner with extended family here. The food was good, the atmosphere perfect for conversations and the price was reasonable. They allowed us to stay and chat for a while as well. Perfect!”
“Love the food and atmosphere at the drive through, almost all who wait on me for my food are almost always happy and joyful, no complaints from them when an order is wrong, for me they replace without any talk back, they always thank me for stopping and always tell me to be safe and have a good day. Love MILTON BURGER KING. keep up the great work! And have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes are there choice, if you Vegetarian food then that's there choice, " not mine, I don't do vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Their again I can't say, I don't do dietary foods.Kid-friendliness: They don't reject kids all are welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility”
“Had a blast with bands sat eve with Alice in sane and stricken. Been long time last in. Meet some old folks and recent being part of the local music scene and be a great spot for Shout at the Devil to play. Hope see some other familiar bands play like black wax Or korupt.”
“We had a family event here with about 25 people. I had never been here and we booked it based on the website and on-line reviews. We had an excellent experience and I would recommend this place to all. The food was excellent and the service was great. It was nice to have such a pleasant experience having never been here.”
“If you want catered food for a large group then Aueens is the way to go. They are professional easy to talk to and I like how they make suggestions to make your experiences memorable. I coordinated a lunch event for Black History Month for both 1st and 2nd shift and let's just say it was a big hit. They do not disappoint and we will be doing business with Queens again. Thank you for being easy to work with and very quick with getting information and quotes back as quickly as you did! You have earned a loyal customer!”
“I visited here on a Tuesday at 6pm for a work-related and social gathering. The service and food were quite good, yet even on a weekday and being upstairs, the decibel level was rather high dye to it also being a bar. The menu selection was more than adequate and prices reasonable. Street parking can be a challenge, however I found a safe spot about one block away, and parking was free after 5pm on weekdays. The restroom was clean, and I find this important in that if management doesn't prioritize bathrooms, they may not value kitchen cleanliness either, but maybe that's just me. I give it a 4 star and not a 5 due to noise”
“This is my go-to coffee spot in the city and I drop in most weeks during my office days. Staff are super friendly and relaxed but serve very promptly. Their baked goods are on point and the coffee even more so. I’d recommend this spot to anyone who finds themselves in downtown Harrisburg in need of a caffeine fix.”
“Great food, great prices and great music! Fast service and the customer service was excellent!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s easy to get a smaller wheel chair into the restaurant and the tables are low enough that you could wheel into any one of their tables.”
“Rarely do I find a steak house that exceeds my expectations. Having been to St. Elmo’s in Indianapolis, the bar is set high. That being said this far exceeded my expectations. The steaks were great, cooked perfectly. The drinks and deserts were world class and I’m honestly shocked even as I write this. Highly recommend, especially given the area. I have tried other local restaurants and nothing comes close. The staff was incredible. The food was brilliant. It’s a 5 star !!”
“I was passing through the area and decided to stop at Arepa House, which turned out to be an excellent idea because the food is super tasty.Arepa House is easily recognizable from the street due to its yellow facade and large yellow lettering displaying the restaurant's name. Upon entering, we were greeted by a welcoming smile from a young woman. The staff speaks both English and Spanish, so you can communicate comfortably in whichever language you prefer.Inside, the same vibrant yellow color scheme continues, along with blue and red, which are the colors of the Venezuelan flag. Some expertly drawn chalk designs adorn a few wall areas painted black, adding an artistic touch to the ambiance. We savored a variety of dishes, including vegan arepas (plantain, avocado, and beans), a cachapa with cheese, a vegetarian empanada, a steak dish, and a maltín drink, among others. The green sauce they provided took the food to another level. One thing to note is I witnessed them with arepa dough and using cachapas batter, ensuring that the arepas and cachapas were made fresh. In addition to the ready-to-eat food, the restaurant sells a selection of food items, snacks, and treats such as Carré (chocolate with nuts), Samba Fresa, Hony Bran, Gayetón, Cocosette, and my personal favorite, bocadillo de plátano. The staff members are hardworking individuals who promptly prepared the food for both dine-in and take-out customers.I was thoroughly impressed with the food at Arepa House. I hope to have the opportunity to return soon, and I definitely recommend dining at this Arepa House – you won't be disappointed.”
“I walked in with an appetite and was not disappointed. The food and ice cream was amazing! My husband and I split the salmon cake and meat sampler. In the meat sampler we got the pulled chicken, chopped brisket, pulled port, sweet sausage, ribs, and breaded chicken bites. Our favorites were the salmon cake, pulled chicken with zesty white sauce, chopped brisket with hot honey garlic bbq, and the sweet sausage. Everything was so good we ended up walking out with a zesty white sauce, hot honey garlic bbq sauce, and 1/2 gallon of teaberry ice cream. I will definitely be back!”
“The food was just awesome. I come up for the Dog Show couple times a year and a worker here told me about the place I tried it and I go every time I come here never had a bad meal highly recommended, but order a day ahead of time if you can.”
“cannolis and sfogliatelle are delic! coming from someone who lived closed the the bronx and little Italy. I know my pastries well, they are top notch. the bread is also excellent. thanks! and the one on front street. what. a nice view of the Susquehanna river to eat outside under a canopy. very nice. in a very good area on front street. prices are reasonable. staff is friendly living about an hour away will make the trip at least every 2 months to stock up on bread and get pastries. took almost 7 years for us to find this gem. everything we found to the east near Allentown was good but way too. expensive and not in best area. I tell you if you are a cannoli person you have to go it's a must the best one ive ever had and ive been to many Italian pastry shops in the bronx, Manhattan, westchester NY. will be visiting before every holiday. a tip - if you are gonna get there in late afternoon, call ahead to order bread, and pastries they will hold them for you in boxes/bags, because if not, they sell out early. I wasn't able to find a good not even decent bakery anywhere near where we live in any direction for miles. finally did. a little short trip but man is it worth it. we are so happy.”
“We walked in and totally felt like we were in a rock and roll band. You order at the counter and they are quick to bring out your beverages. The food was fresh and their home-fries were tasty. The service was great and they came to check on us once to make sure we were all set!”
“I love pizza and saw the “Home of the Grandma pizza” sign in the window. Thought I’d give it a try and it sure didn’t disappoint. One of the best pizza’s I’ve had in a while and it was priced right. Staff is also great.”
“Great pizza, never disappoints! Staff are always accommodating and friendly. I also ordered fries. OMG! They are so good!!!! I definitely recommend it and will visit again.”
“All 5 of us had terrific steaks and ribs. All cooked perfectly and seasoned right on.Service was second to none.Parking: Dirt lot, uneven and water filled standing dirty holes. They would serve the public by simply paving the lot.”
“Oh my gosh. Their ice cream is amazing!!!! Worth every calorie. And so affordable! I ordered 2 flavors in the small cup and it's under $5!!!! I love the lemon blueberry crunch and the peaches and cream. Wish I lived closer.”
