“Ashley’s Cake Shoppe is the best bakery I’ve ever been to in my life. Everything is so delicious. I’ve tried 3 different desserts. Peach cobbler, strawberry crumble cheese cake and another one I can’t remember the name. I’ve never been disappointed. I promise you won’t be either.“

“From the tasting to after the wedding, Bredenbeck’s was amazing! The cake came out EXACTLY how I expected it to. It was beautiful! And it tasted amazing! All of my guests really loved every layer (each one was a different flavor). We had a small issue with the filling but Bredenbeck’s rectified the issue right away and took accountability! I look forward to visiting them for another cake order in the future!“

“Gina makes the BEST rosemary cheddar scones you will ever find! All the treats in the shop are so tasty and baked with love, but the scones are outstanding! Gina and her staff are so sweet and friendly, that the “Sweets” of their Sweets on Darby name refers as much to the people as it does to the delightful pastries she bakes. Such a cute inviting shop with an amazing staff and delicious treats all wrapped up in one place❤️❤️“

“I lived in Seattle for almost two decades and will admit to being a bit of a coffee shop snob. The Nook hits so many of my high points. Extremely good locally roasted coffee (in-house!). Amazing baked goods. The cocoa coffee bread must be tried, but leave me a slice! Great staff. If I ever move out of the neighborhood, I'll journey to the Nook for a great cup and bite.“

“A small corner bakery in South Philly with an Asian flair. Hearty and delicate and sweet and savory pastries, steamed pork and vegetable buns, traditional Asian pastries at the holidays like beautiful mooncakes and gorgeous cake creations including Yule Logs at Christmas. New and delicious dishes are always being introduced and there is an extensive menu of beverages. You will not leave Dodo hungry or broke! Everything is very reasonably priced especially for such high quality creations!“

“Old school Italian-American bakery. Tasty sweets, espresso, cakes and pies. Cannoli, of course! Had the red velvet cake and it was very good. Service was warm and welcoming. Open late! No gluten free options tonight (I asked). I didnt ask if they had dairy free or sugar free options, but... I really wouldn't expect them here. Very nice pricing! :) Tables available inside and outside.Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options (I asked).“

“I ordered the fallen flowers/leaves three tiered cake and the balloon cookie favors for my daughter’s baby shower luncheon. I asked Grace for pale peach, gold, green etc very muted colors and it turned out beyond my expectations.Gorgeous! Many commented on how pretty and tasty it the cake was. Guests and even the restaurant took photos. Thanks so much Grace and Whipped Bakeshop! Wish you did our wedding cakes! The cookie favors were beautifully wrapped and delicious too! Everyone was delivered on time and the bakery was easy to work with.“

“I placed an order for a bowtie cake which I was hoping would not be impossible to make but Tyisha did an excellent job with the design. Not to mention the moisture and flavor of the cake and fondant was superb. I will order her cakes for any occasion. Makes me eager to have potlucks at work and refer her to my friends, family and coworkers.“

“First time trying this place out. Must pickup from the window as the entrance is closed off. and eating it seems homemade. The heart cookies were sweet but just missing that certain someone to share them with. One of the macaroons was off kilter appearance wise but food wise- I mean it's TooGoodToGo. The taste is fine. Nothing like when Miel existed or the one off of Race St. if it is still there, probably French exquisite in those places. Staff is friendly. The custard like dessert was flavorful and I have no idea what this mash was besides edible and delicious! A local shop a tourist probably won't hit unless they are using TooGoodToGo or reading this review by chance, then maybe.“

“We stop by Jacquette’s almost every Sunday morning for donuts and they’re out of this world! Always delicious and fresh! Our favs are the jelly donuts and the cinnamon twists. Their cookies are also exceptional. The people that work there are kind and welcoming. I can see why they’ve been there for so many years. It’s a Broomall tradition!“

“We ordered custom cookies in the likeness of our daughter’s dogs for a party. These doggie cookies were the hit of the party! Not only did the coolies look exactly like the dogs, somehow their personally was also captured! The cookies tasted delicious as well as looking great! I Would highly recommend this bakery! “Seriously in love with our cake. The design was stunning. And it was so so delicious. I will say that during the tasting a lot of the flavors tasted very similar. But they were still so delicious and it’s hard to add a lot of flavor to wedding cakes as they need to have structural integrity. With that, I really don’t like cake or frosting. I loved this cake. None of it was wasted everyone loved it and it was beyond affordable. Thank you for making our wedding just that much more special.“
