I sort of lose consciousness when i go into italian bakeries so this is one of the rare times i didn't really take pics except for the boxes of gift cookies i picked up. There is a handful of top notch italian bakeries in Philly, this is one of them. The way it smells and feels in there just makes you get a good feeling when you walk in. The gelato case and espresso machine near the front door helps at least for me. I love it here and I am not the only one cause it's packed around...read full review
Id say it's a Hidden GEM. Awesome tasting donuts made fresh at a very affordable price which is hard to fine now a days. Great around bakery with so much more then just great tasting donuts.

Old school Italian-American bakery. Tasty sweets, espresso, cakes and pies. Cannoli, of course! Had the red velvet cake and it was very good. Service was warm and welcoming. Open late! No gluten free options tonight (I asked). I didnt ask if they had dairy free or sugar free options, but... I really wouldn't expect them here.
