I've gotten their BBQ wings (what the other reviews say about the flavor is true; FULL SLAP), their salmon rice bowl and their salmon and chicken salad. The salads are a great go if you're looking for something healthy! I'm not sure how they fix their salmon but it's seasoned to perfection ? will be returning!Ordered online thru their site (menuify I believe), food has always been ready by their promised time. “Finally checked out Suya Suya a few weeks back with Anna S. Anna ordered the Egusi over Fufu while the three of us ordered Suya Bowls. The three of us happened to have ordered different rice for our bases, allowing us to have a taste of all the different rice options offered by the restaurant. The Suya Bowls were a substantial amount of food, mainly because the plate came with large portions of rice. Don't get me wrong, the rice was delicious, in fact, you can't go wrong with any of the 3 rice options, but seeing that the restaurant is called Suya Suya, I thought they would highlite the Suya more than the rice. From pictures, the Suya Bowl came with sliced onions with white sauce, which doesn't particularly do it for me as a vegetable side, so I selected the brussels sprouts for my Suya, and only got 5-6 brussels sprouts. Doesn't feel like a lot of brussel sprouts next to the mountain of rice. You definitely get more Suya if you go with the meats. The Suya Bowl also comes with your choice of plantains or cornbread. The entire bowl just feels very carb heavy and unbalanced. Anna's Egusi over Fufu was tasty but was too spicy for our group. Overall, Suya Suya offers tasty food at reasonable prices, but I would definitely recommend ordering an extra side of Suya with your Suya Bowl.“

“I had the chicken, collard greens and Mac and cheese!!! The food is absolutely phenomenal!!! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend!!! The first bite I had blew me away!! Just wow!!! I was not expecting that at ALL and was pleasantly surprised!!! Wonderful people also!!!“

“Listen.... I LOVE African food. Doesn't matter the country. But I especially love pepper soup. I've had it just about from EVERYWHERE in Philly and sometimes I make it at home (from YouTube recipes). This lady (the owner) at Eatwell ABSOLUTELY makes the BEST pepper soup I've ever tasted by FAR! The flavors are just ???(immaculate). She always tells me that she gets her spices and ingredients from Africa and it definitely shows ?The portion size is super good too. I've also had the Ayamase and Rice amd the beans and rice with goat and let me tell you both of those dishes were super awesome too. I HIGHLY recommend this place and I'll keep coming back as long as the recipes stay the same ?“

“one of my favorite bars! staff has always been friendly and accommodating. big fan of their outdoor space, the ethopian cheesesteak, split lentil wot, and goden tibs. sometimes on busier nights it can be a bit of a wait for food and service as the staff is small, but I think its well worth it for what you get! love this place :-)“

“This African Restaurant did not disappoint! My friends rant and raved about this place and so I came, I saw, and devoured the savory Yassa Chicken which was so delicious, with the red/jollof rice to complement! The spicy, hearty dish is made of tender boneless chicken with tasty onions and peppers. I will be back to try the tilapia fish which I tasted from my friend's plate and will be my next dish. The 2 ladies at the restaurant were so pleasant and welcoming and the atmosphere was cozy. If I could give a recommendation, is to have some ginger juice with the option to add sugar. I would have probably purchased 2 drinks! I plan to come back!! ?“

“For a Saturday night, not wildy busy for how delicious the food was! Only 3-4 other groups there at the same time we were. Patient staff. Everything we ate was delicious. “Their food is delicious. It's a bit pricey but everything was so good. The honey garlic wings are the best I've ever had. I also had the grilled snapper, jollof rice and plantains. The blueberry lastini was wonderful. My date had the rasta pasta with shrimp and oxtails. I don't eat red meat but I had a taste of his pasta and it was better than the Rasta Pasta I had in Jamaica. He told me his cheesesteak rolls were delicious.“

Delicious and mouth watering onion sauce, Lamb is grilled to perfection, with the tantalizing sweetness of the plantain that just melts away in your mouth. “Jammie's Creative Food was absolutely fantastic. The interior is colorful, spacious , and clean, and we were greeted warmly by their attentive and friendly staff, I got the grilled tilapia with vegetable rice and sweet plantains, which were all really delicious. between myself and my party we ordered almost everything on the menu and not a single person was dissatisfied. Sidique came out from behind the counter to greet me, which made me feel welcomed.Although my favorite cassava leaf soup was unavailable on this visit, Sidique assured me it would be back on the menu soon. As an alternative, I decided to try the Peanut Butter Soup.The Peanut Butter Soup was delicious. Its savory taste balanced the slight sweetness of the peanut butter. The soup was rich and hearty, with stew chicken and beef. It was served with a generous portion of white rice. They also provided a small container of hot pepper sauce on the side, allowing me to customize the heat level.Overall, Aunty K's West African Restaurant is a clean and friendly establishment with tasty food.
