“Stopped by on my way home the other night just got a couple of cheeseburgers and some fries not much I can really say about Burger King because as far as food goes they're pretty consistent from one to the other drive through was pretty quick not much interaction with the staff so can't really say much about them other than they took the order but probably one of the better ones to go to in the area I usually hit Burger King versus McDonald's because Burger King get my order right on the first try plus I love their fries better“
“This location is sooo much better than the others I have been too. Always clean, Always friendly. Always accurate with orders.Whoever manages this location needs to get cloned and manage. The others. Also has a lot to do with the good staff there, and I think the affluent location helps “
“I see people expecting a Ritz Carlton experience from a small hotdog and hamburger joint that's been in business for 105 years in a small former coal mining town. Well, if that's what you want, leave, but if you want good old-fashioned food that your grandparents enjoyed with a little whimsey, kind staff, and food that isn't covered up in 10 different layers of god knows what, then this is the place! While yes, the pricing has gone up over the years, but really, what is still the same price as 40 years ago, the food is still the same. It's not fancy, but it's something delicious, and if it's been around 105 years and still going strong, well then something is being done correctly!!“
“Dined there this evening. It's not our first time. Tonight, they were out of soup spoons. On a good note, the oysters were adequate, the clam chowder was adequate, the shrimp cocktail was delicious, our entrees were delicious, and Alexadra did an outstanding job. They had run out of their cornbread, but Alexadra found some for us. All in all, it was a rather pleasant dining experience. The only constructive criticism is better planning when you have a large party reservation. Hopefully, then you won't run out of things for the rest of us.“
“We love Cherokee Tap Room! The owners are the nicest people and they have such a great selection of food and drinks. We held a brunch here the morning after our son’s wedding and everything was amazing! The restaurant was closed that day but they opened just for our private party. The sausage patties are made in house as were the danish. Everyone raved about how delicious and fresh all of the food was. Every time we are in Danville this is our first stop. They are always so welcoming and make us feel like family.“
“Stopped at this Friendlys few weeks ago, Savannah was our waitress and she was excellent and very nice. The tattooed dude who I think was the manager was very helpful to her bussing tables etc while at the same time cooking. Food was good and delicious. We loved the forbidden chocolate ice cream.“
“The food was great, though it took a while for it being pretty empty. A glass of water would have been nice whole waiting. The server was nice but I'm not sure if she realized how much she interrupted personal conversations. Unnecessary check ins would have saved the aggravation.“
“I love this food! Even more than food that costs 3x as much but...a lot of times the accuracy is shakey for your order. People are nice, just not always super focused if you modify the order at all. Still ♥️ those cheese burgers though.“
“First time at the Nickle Plate. Went there after Joy to the Grove. It was crowded and we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our server was fantastic! Despite being very busy she was very friendly and made some recommendations for us. Started with pretzel rails and they were great with the beer cheese dip served on the side. For the main event I went with the PB&J burger. AMAZING! It was a "real" burger, not frozen that had crunchy peanut butter and a spicy jelly on it along with some great seasoned bacon on a great roll. Came with pickles and chips or fries. Needless to say I mopped it up. Others had the tenderloin sandwiches which were also fantastic. The outside had a Christmas venue outside with a fire and small food items. Just a great place.“
