Just had lunch here today 3/23. Reviews were good before we stopped in and they were bang on. This is a true mom and pop place and the counter is a must to experience the atmosphere and conversation with those at the counter and behind. Might have been the best BLT I've had in long time. Truly enjoyed the experience from entry to exit.

The first thing I would say is it's a nice place. However, some of the regulars tend to be a bit hostile to new people. The food is good. I recommend the chili.Parking: The parking is a bit limited. So if they are really busy you're probably not going to be parking near the restaurant.

This old staple made sense when it was a quick & inexpensive stop through. The cost was pretty tough to justify for plain dogs, sauce on the side, and some fries to go.This economy sucks, but some things only work in certain forms and unfortunately expensive isn't the right one here.
